"King Family"
We were very pleased w/ our stay @ the Holiday Inn. The location is in a perfect location to downtown, Georgia Dome, etc. I have no complaints keep up w/ the good work.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not impressed at all"
I was not happy with the up keep of the Hotel. The rooms needs remodeling, beds to low, not comfortable, rust in bathroom, bathroom ceiling was patched, I will never use Holiday Inn again, not satisfied at all and it is not a 4 star hotel misleadingGenuine Expedia guest review

"ok if going to braves game but....."
had an ordor in the room. Didn't want to walk around bare foot becuase the carpet was old and nasty. the only way I recommend the hotel is how close it is to the ball park. 1/2 mile maybe.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good almost great"
We have stayed in this hotel before and have never had a major complaint. I could give it 5 stars if it weren't for dirty vents, a slow-drain sink and a bathroom door that caught on the floor when you opened/closed it. Nothing Major but just enough to annoy you. The last time there (this summer) the AC was not working when we arrived but was fixed […] promptly. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"no wheelchairs"
The room was handicapped accessible, but not handicapped friendly. There was no room to turn the wheelchair around. nor to get past the wheelchair for a nondisabled person. The bathroom was atrocious. There was barely enough room to turn around, The stool was short with a bar in the back and one side, making it almost impossible to get up with one leg. […] The shower seat folded down from the opposite end from the faucet, thus the faucet could not be reached. The seat also had a slope and was made of vinyl, becoming slippery when wet. I almost slid off into the tub several times. to be picky, the toilet paper was behind the stool instead of beside it. The sink was just hung from the wall with no counter to place anything, even though there was room on both sides for one. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to stadium, but check-in is a disaster"
I like the location, but lousy overall. Check in was heinous, our phone didn't work at all, and the toilet was iffy. This could be an awesome property with upgradesGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Going to see the Braves"
Great location for a Braves game.. My first room had a strong smell of bleach, so overpowering that my eyes watered. Next room was much better but felt muggy if the A/C wasn't keeping the temp pretty low. The Service was outstanding! I would try it again, just based on the location for games and the service. Go Braves!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stay here for Braves games but otherwise avoid"
The proximity to Turner Field is why we chose to stay at this location, and that did not disappoint. Unfortunately there were a lot of disappointments. Don't buy the add breakfast buffet ticket because they only have the buffet when it's open. You basically pay $15 for a $15 voucher to use in their restaurant. There were hairs on the edge of the bathtub. […] The sheets had debris on them, looked washed but with dirt in the machine or something. On a plus side the shower pressure and shower head was wonderful. Our housekeeping attendant met us in the hallway as we were leaving and asked if we needed anything. We said only towels, she had us sign a form and didn't put any new towels in our room. We were told the Hotel shuttle ran every thirty minutes. I asked about it on the hour, and then five minutes later. The shuttle finally came up from the garage 10 minutes after the hour. One a plus, the shuttle driver, was friendly once they arrived. In the future I think I will explore one of the other hotels that is close to Turner Field as well. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location for a not-so-great hotel."
The staff wasn't prepared at check-in. It took almost an hour to complete the process. The room we were given was an adjoining room and was up all night due to the loud neighbors. The only reason why I would stay here again is due to the location of the hotel. Literally walking distance to Turner Field.Genuine Expedia guest review
"great hotel"
i was welcomed by a happy, fun, and informative staff. clean hotel, huge and accesible. great shuttle service. I have 1 complaint that might be Hotels.com's fault. Email said that our room included a microwave and mini-fridge. Well it didn't. So the food we brought couldn't be eaten..... The staff said this was not an option for rooms but we could rent […] a microwave if we'd like. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place to stay"
The stay was good. Staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant in the hotel had coupons on restaurant . com and that helped immensely. The only complaint I have was the shuttle service. Leaving the hotel was fine, getting back to the hotel was a problem. I wasn't told they had a 2nd shuttle that didn't have their name on it. So I missed it. :( But overall […] it was a good visit. "you have problems"
came back after going to ballgame used bathroom went to sleep and about 3am security was beating on my door saying your room is flooding. Apparently toilet kept flowing after I used it and flooded the room. Was told by security and front desk I WOULD NOT be held responsible for that. They moved me to another room and toilet would not even flush in that […] room. Will not stay there again too many problems!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel close to the Atlanta capitol."
The room was nicely located in the 11th floor. However the noice of the interstate could not be ignored due to insufficient window insolation. The business center was only equipped with outdated computers; I could not check in our flights due to an outdated browser; printing did not work either. Staff a the breakfast restaurant seemed to have never […] been trained to serve customers. She wanted to sit us at an uncleaned table. Pure choice of breakfast meals and by far too expensive. "DISAPPOINTMENT"
The location was good and staff was courteous. The problems were that the room was extremely humid no matter what we did with the AC unit. Our shirts got damp hanging in the room. Room service only made one bed and when when we prepared to leave we found that the maid had taken our dirty towels and not replaced them, thus we had to request new ones […] before showering to leave. The TV was ancient with poor reception and not remote. Not really a good value. I did enjoy the trip though. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice views, but very old, & have to pay to park"
The hotel rooms had nice views and it was in a convenient location. - But, a couple of blocks down the road and you are in a neighborhood you don't really want to be in, especially after dark. And, the hotel itself was very old and didn't include very many amenities (only 1 restaurant on site that didn't have convenient hours, no on-site "store" and […] didn't notice a store at all in the 1.8 miles to GWCC, it only had ice machines on every floor but not vending machines, no mini-fridge in room). The room was pleasantly clean though and the staff was friendly. Another thing that I was NOT happy at all with, was paying an extra eighteen dollars per night for parking. If you are paying to stay in their rooms, why do you have to also pay for your vehicle to be in their parking lot? You can't very well, nor safely, park on the street though. "Great hotel for a Braves game!!"
We arrived 25 min after check in time to be told check-in would be delayed until 4. This was a 3 game series weekend so I assume they were having a hard time getting rooms cleaned up in time for the next check in. The manager came out & said they could start checking in customers until they ran out of rooms. We stood in line & were ignored until this […] time. Luckily we got a room! The hotel is very close to the ballpark which was what we were looking for! I didn't feel unsafe as some of the other reviews indicated and the staff was over all very nice. We had to take the stairs in order to avoid waiting for an elevator to free up after the game. The stair well was very dirty and had not been swept in a long time. We were on the 3rd floor so this was a relief to sweating in the elevator with many other folks! The bar has great drinks! We did pay for parking-$18 but the attendant was very nice! Over all, good stay! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Stayed @ hotel while daughter at VANs Warped concert, The resturant was nice, very good waiters. Parking extra 18.00, but in covered parking deck so worth it. Pool & Pool area nice and peaceful. "Great For Braves Game"
It is a great hotel to stay in if you are going to a Braves game because you can walk there. It is not in walking distance of any restaurants. "Great hotel for a Braves game"
We stayed here to go to a Braves game and it was within walking distance of Turner Field. In fact, we could see Turner Field from the hotel. The hotel had a shuttle service that would take us to the game, to the aquarium, Hard Rock Cafe, etc and gave us a card so that we could call them and they would come pick us up. The shuttle drivers were great. […] Our room was exactly like we had reserved and was very nice and clean. We used the workout facility and it was adequate, nothing extra. The front desk personnel were very efficient and friendly. The only negative thing I have to say is that you have to pay $18 to park in their garage, which I thought was a bit excessive since we were already paying to stay in the hotel. "Walk to the Atlanta Braves MLB Park."
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did have to wait and extra hour for an available room to be ready. Instead of 3:00 pm check in time. They informed me check in time was 4:00pm. The room was clean. The hotel overall is several years old. It could use a remodel. The other oddity I would like to mention is the steps to all floors had to be accessed […] at the end of each floor's hallway and they led to the bottom floor, but the stairs exited to the outside near the parking lot, not back into the hotel lobby. The big plus is this hotel is within walking distance to the Atlanta Braves MLB Park. You can save a few $$ by taking the hotel's shuttle. The shuttle service ran every 30 to 40 minutes. "Bring a Flashlight and Money for the Homeless"
Just a so-so place. I was very disappointed from the moment I pulled into the front driveway. It was about 9 in the evening with a number of other cars. After I checked in, I went back to my car to get my things. I was approached (by the hotel front door) by a homeless woman asking for help! I gave her some cereal and fruit. She wouldn't leave me alone. […] There were no employees around at all. I went in and told them; "oh no that never happens here. We will get security." Well, I went back to my car where the woman kept trying to help me with my luggage while I kept saying "I have it." Then she asked for money. I gave her some cash, but resent paying for a hotel and being hit up for donations at its door. If they have problems, they should always have someone at the front door. The next night, I pulled up to the parking gate (where I paid $18 a night to park) only to have someone parked right in front of the gate!!! They really need someone positioned at their front door to monitor activities. As to the flashlight-- you need that b/c they have the darkest rooms that I have ever been in. Even in the bathroom with the mirro, we couldn't see much. The clock wasn't plugged in so I had to plug that in and set it in order to use it. And the cable wasn't working so there was no way to see the movie that they constantly advertised. We even called for help and the hotel staff after two hours, couldn't get it to work. The food in the buffet was warm but not hot. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"It's OKAY"
For the price, I expected way more. Plus we had to pay $18 for parking and weren’t advised until they slipped my check out receipt under my door. While the hotel was clean and ready upon arrival, it was just okay in my opinion. It was convenient because it was within walking distance to Turner Field and that was our purpose but I would stay further […] away in order to get better quality. I know this has nothing to do with Holiday Inn itself but I would NOT recommend the restaurant within the hotel called Rock Fish Grill. Horrible, horrible servicie… I was disgusted by the service we received and the manager could care less. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"not what you think!!!"
1) while it's located next to turner field and the olympic torch, gaining access to the hotel is a huge hassle. it's also not as convenient to downtown atlanta as you think. 2) parking fees are $30 a night ($40 if it's a large vehicle); around 4pm the entrance is jammed pack with cars trying to enter the lot and every person has to answer to an attendant […] in a box as to why they are there. i understand the importance of minimizing access to the parking lot because of braves baseball games, however, trying to leave the hotel in early evening is impossible. 3) one of our rooms looked as if it had not been fully cleaned when we checked in. there were numerous strands of hair (from upper and lower nether regions) still in the bath tub; hair was caked on the handle of the blow dryer from previous guests; we also found blood and unknown yellow stains on the sheets; shoes from previous guests were found under the bed at the foot just below the sheets (had the sheets been changed properly, the shoes would have been found) 4) most importantly, a cup of coffee was $2.16, not okay when you are just grabbing a cup to go 5) on a positive note, Mike the shuttle guy was very pleasant and accommodating to our needs.
