"Watch extra charges!!"
Was informed ahead of time of a $13.33 charge for extra person. Requested a rollaway bed, was confirmed. Upon arrival was told in addition to extra person charge, there was a $25/night charge for the rollaway bed, bringing the total for the extra person to $38.33! "Perfect for our quick stop"
We arrived late at night on our way to North Carolina. After working all day, and then driving approximately 5 hours to this, our first stop, the hotel was a welcome sight. Very friendly staff. Quick, easy check in. The ONLY drawback - our room on the 2nd floor and NO ELEVATOR. Thinking of anyone elderly or who has trouble with stairs - not a good place […] for that type of person. The room was the cleanest hotel room I've been in, in a long time. WIFI was a plus. The "hot" breakfast (complimentary), looked inviting, but we didn't have time to try it. Conveniently located down the road from McDonalds and Dunkin Donuts as well. Right across from the river. Highly recommend this place for a quick stop or if you are visiting the area. Overall it was an okay place to stay. It was clean and spacious enough. The location was good and I liked the free parking. Continental breakfast, while free, wasn't exactly the best. Just think it was more expensive than it was worth. I would have been happy to spend 75/80 night. Total was 220, think that's a bit much. Next time might try and get a lodge as we usually take our own breakfast and lunch, and might be able to save half. But it was all good.
