It was close to the Farm Center and had resturants,gas station right next door this was convenient. Room was clean and large with ref in our room which we took advantage of. breakfast in the morning worked fine. I would stay here again

We stayed for 5 nights, the room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was good. We did not hear the trains as others have commented on and found it quiet . The only downside was flimsy pillows, but all in all a very good stay at a good rate, Will stay there again

Was very easy to get to off of I81 and to go to and from the PA Farm Show Complex. The full breakfast options were sufficient and the staff was courteous. Despite what previous reviews said about the size of the pillows or the train station neither were an issue during our stay. I would certainly stay again.

with price, it's a good deal to sleep one night - nothing fancy, but clean and all basic+ (i.e coffemaker, hair-dryer,etc). wi-fi worked good, and breakfast was modest (waffle-maker was good.. fruit was a little bit old..)

Quiet neighborhood, quiet rooms. Very clean, nice building... Close to resteraunts, gas station etc... The only problem was a slight musty smell to the room. When I went to check out, even after banging the bell left at the desk, I couldn't get/find a desk clerk, so I left my room key with a note.

The hotel was in a perfect location from Hershey Park and saved us money on a hotel stay. The only real downside to the hotel was their water pressure. While showering the water would just cut out. The continental breakfast was really good too. It was a great savings to not have to eat out somewhere else.

Stayed here with a buddy for 3 days while attending a car show in Carlisle, PA. The hotel was fine for our needs, the room was reasonably clean and our stay was pleasant. The room did smell a little funny when we first walked in each evening, but it was easy enough to get used to. There is a train yard across the street, so you can here some noise from that in the mornings, but it wasn't anything that made it hard to sleep. The continental breakfast was ok, nothing extraordinary, the staff was on the ball about keeping everything stocked up so it fit the bill. We found a pizza place/bar/beer sales place in the strip mall just south of the hotel that had great sandwiches and pizza slices if you need a quick dinner. The location was close to hwy 81 so it was an easy drive to the fairgrounds in Carlisle each morning.

There were not enough pillows and they were quite small. The staff did bring up extras, but those were thin. The room was VERY hot when we got in and took hours to cool down. The front desk staff was very courteous and professional.

We really didn't spend a lot of time here as we got in at 1 am. We called ahead and the staff was very friendly and assured us that they would keep our room and check us in quickly. They kept their word. It was a good night's sleep.

This hotel is on a hill overlooking the Susquehanna River. It is also across the street from the Enola Classification Facility which means trains are coming and going 24/7. The sound of screeching train brakes and the loud thud of cars being joined did not exactly lull me to sleep...in fact it kept me from sleeping much at all. Perhaps a room NOT overlooking the river would be more restful. It was a hot night and the A/C worked perfectly. Unfortunately, other amenities of the room were not so great. Their was a white powdery substance on the table top and floor (which I later realized with relief was spilled powdered coffee creamer). The bathroom was very dirty with dried urine stains all over the toilet seat and bowl. Disgusting! The shower was dirty and, while I appreciate the bed was not movable, there was enough dirt and food particles underneath to fill a bag. While it did not specifically say on the hotel website, I mistakenly assumed it had an elevator. IT HAS NO ELEVATOR. All guests must carry bags through the main lobby up a winding staircase to their second floor rooms. The hotel information does not say there is no elevator in the Handicap/Accessibility section. In the interest of disclosure, they should be frank about this matter. I will not stay here again. If you do stay here, skip the free breakfast (more a light snack) and go to McDonalds or the Summerdale Diner next store for a real breakfast.

The room was exactly what we needed. It was within walking distance of my son's college. Anyone visiting their student at the nearby college should consider spending the night at the Quality Inn Riverview. At first glance sitting on a hill overlooking the Rail Yards and the river, one stops to think?, When we entered the loby, it smelled of stail smoke, the desk man told me that they hve contracts with the rail road, and there pepole can smoke in their rooms only, and they are in one wing and the non smokers are in another wing. We decided to stay and asked for a room as far from smokeing as possable, which we were given. There was no smell of smoke down the no smokeing wing or in our room. The beds were very comfortable, and there was ample hot water. The breakfast leaves something to your imagination. The waffle maker was out of order, and from what I could find it had been out for an extended time. There were sausages, something that looked like eggs, toaster french toast, toaster waffles, and the usual breads, cerial ect. NOTE, there should be a disclaimer placed on the Coffie. The good news is that McDonlds is 100yds down the hill. The big question, wold I sty again, and the answer is Yes, it has greate access to the interstate

The room was spotless and the beds very comfortable. My only complaint is that the pillows (You get three.) were half-size. They might have been 9" square, to the point the excess case was stuffed inside itself to fit. Weird. The diner next door had good, home style food with a friendly staff. I never heard a train, or anything else, for that matter, once we were settled in the room. Will definitely stop here again.

I look forward to returning to this hotel for my next trip to the area. It was located a short distance from my meeting area and also in an area that had many restuarants and shopping options. The staff were helpful and breakfast was included. I was able to catch up on work using their free Wi-Fi. My only downfall, was the slight noise from the trains across the street, but running the air conditioner tuned it out.

I was satisfied with our stay at this hotel. I was a little leary of the neighboring railroad tracks, but hardly heard anything out of the trains at all. Very well kept, highly recommended.

We liked our stay but, I was asked to leave a $50.00 security deposit and when we went to leave the clerk asked me to wait while he checked the room, then he returned our deposit.I felt like we weren`t trusted.We never had that happen to us, Anywhere.We are not rowdy minors just two men in our 50`s going to a car show.

I didn't really like the pillows on the bed. They were small square things that didn't really offer a good amount of support. However, the heater worked great, which is important considering how cold it's been recently. That night, I used the bathroom and afterwards the toliet kept running. It was off and on for over half an hour. I took the lid off the tank and the chain had slipped off the lever. I fixed it and the problem stopped. I used the bathroom the next morning and the toliet started running again. This time it was the rubber seal. It didn't really bother me, but for someone else who doesn't know how to do these surface fixes (or doesn't see this as their job) this could drive them crazy or cause problems with the management. The breakfast was great and the water in the shower was hot at 9AM - an impressive feat. And there were plenty of clean towels.

the room was large and clean. excellent A/C and I was at the end of the hall so nice and quiet. Having said that.... for the price I was very disappointed to have to sit on a folding chair at a plastic folding table for breakfast. ALSO, the toilet paper was the worst I have ever seen - it shreds when you unroll it and it was very difficult to use. really?

The price is right- location is good, room was clean. Furniture is dated- thread worn sofa, soiled desk chair. Four small pillows on king sized bed. Hot offerings at breakfast looked unappetizing. I usually eat a cold breakfast so it was OK. Coffee in dispenser was cold.

The hotel was ok for a one night stay... nothing to great, nothing to bad... just your average hotel.... distance for the city wasnt that bad and there are some nice local places for food and drink near by as well. You may need the dunkin donuts across the parking lot as the breakfast selection there was very slim.
