I was actually there for the Boston Marathon. The hotel was perfect-the kitchen -the price,etc. The only thing I wish that all hotels would do is prohibit smoking right outside the front lobby doors. Stayed one night. Was told that hotel was just renovated. TV remote in my room did not work even after I temporarily replaced the batteries with my own. Diverter in bathtub that was supposed to divert water from tub to shower was stuck in place and half to 2/3 of water was still coming from bathtub spigot so shower had very weak flow. First, the hotel is hidden and difficult to find. Hotel was under remodeling and the whole place reeked of chemicals. There is no house keeping and the even the employees look like they don't want to be there. Would not recommend staying here at all.

We chose this for the location, knowing the area. But this hotel is really overdue for a renovation. They let it go way too long. The rugs are filthy. The rooms are marginally cleaner but ours had an awful odor which was only made worse by their attempt to cover it. We were given a smoker's room despite mentioning the need for non-smoker's one. Air conditioning was not working only the fan was running. No places to eat close by. Chose a better alternative.

We paided extra for what we thougth was a little more space for a longer space. It was the same room with fancier curtains and a pillow in the side chair. Not worth the extra bucks. Overall nice amenities and a good price for the region, but the extra is not worth is.

I chose this location because other nearby hotels had no vacancies. First, the hotel remains hidden behind a vacant restaurant, and both shrubs and large restaurant building camouflage street access to the hotel. A phone call to the hotel resulted in confusing driving instructions. Staff provided reluctant information about nearby restaurants. The hotel […] was being painted on June 26, 2012 one-half red the other half white, and all windows were covered in plastic. Why the managers chose to engage in such massive disruptions was unclear. Painting and repairing one side of the building at a time would have been far more preferable. Painters were in the hall joking and talking loudly with each other when I arrived. The chaise lounge was propped against the wall because the back was broken, not to mention that the upholstery was old, dirty, and defective. The halls and elevator needed cleaning. This hotel is fine. Its in a business park area so nowhere to eat nearby. There was a bar/restaurant out front but it is either permanently closed or closed up early. The main entrance is surrounded by handicap parking spots so there is nowhere (legal) to quickly park and check in. I found this quite annoying. Stayed here because it was the cheapest 1 night stay i could find. Bed was rock hard and the pillows were terrible. Since it was only 1 night i could deal with it but i wouldn't recommend and extended stat at this hotel.

This is one of three located very close to one another and hopefully, the other two are better. The TV is way too small (19" tube?) for current market demands and had a minimal channel selection of less than popular channels. Internet speed rivaled dial-up, I have not seen anything that slow anywhere since the advent of hi-speed. I ended up using […] my smartphone for anything that needed even the slightest speed for access - not to mention I was charged $4.99 for the "pleasure" when most places are free now. Guestroom FF&E was outdated, carpet in fair condition with multiple burn marks. Bed was overly firm. On arrival, which was approximately 11:45 p.m., the person working the front desk was a temp to that location and not familiar with the property - locked herself out from behind the desk when she came to open the door because the remote release did not work. She and had to climb over the desk to get back in to check me in. On my last evening, around 11:45 p.m., there was noise in the corridor that appeared to involve at least two intoxicated individuals with one asking someone to call an ambulance. Someone did, but on their arrival, the individuals were gone. At 12:30 a.m., I was visited by local police looking to find out if I had seen anything or knew who they were because they could not find them anywhere near the property. Overall, not a wonderful experience for a family Thanksgiving trip. Read more

Room was OK, dirty rug, hard bed and pillows, old TV with just satellite. Hallway smelled like smoke even though it was a "non-smoking" area. No breakfast. Had to pay for internet. No daily cleaning - had to pay extra for this. No fitness room. And had to hunt for front desk even after I talked to them on the phone.

The staff was very nice. The room was just what we needed. The only down side was our next door neighbor was a chain smoker and he would leave his door propped open so the smoke was all over the hallway. It did not seem to go in our room which we were very happy about.

This was no doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel lobby smelled, my key didn't open my room door, the clerk was the only person working on the premis and suggested I try again. When we checked in, our room hadn't been cleaned. Then it took them an hour to find us a "clean" room... they had marked rooms clean that hadn't been and literally walked up and down the halls, peeking in rooms to see if they had been cleaned. The women at the front desk was very unprofessional about it, and kept saying, "I'm not cleaning rooms like […] I had to do last time." This tells me that it's not the first time this has happened. They finally found a "non-smoking" room for us... we got in there and it reeked of cigarettes, there were burn holes in the carpet and bedspreads and curtains. (I have pictures) Then, the bathtub had a ring of grime around the bottom and gritty scum covering the bottom. It was disgusting. The phone didn't work and when I actually walked down to the lobby, the employee wasn't there. Ten minutes later, another customer (who seemed to know the employee) found her hanging out in the laundry room. Bottom line, this place was scuzzy, the people were unprofessional, and I wish I could erase the whole weekend from my memory. What a waste of time and money. Read more
