Lakefront Restaurant - Indoor and seasonal outdoor dining overlooking the picturesque lake. Pasta; surf and turf. Daily buffet and à la carte breakfast; à la carte lunch and dinner.

"Hot & Noisy room"

I could not get the temperature to go below 68- even though it felt hot in my room the thermostat would not change. So, I had to cast the comfy comforter aside. In addition, my room was right above some generator that seemed to come to life just as the noisy a/c would turn off. Overall, not a good night.

Not only is this hotel a great place to stay, it also is within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Which was great for us because we had 2 little kids who had spent all day traveling in the car.

The hotel itself was great, room was beautiful but for it to be a completely non smoking hotel, the room had a stale cigarette smell

staff was very friendly.. they had 4 family reunions 3 wedding receptions and 2 wedding services going on all week end and we did not feel slighted at all. In any event that we had or special action that we had asked of the staff to do for us

The hotel's lobby was beautiful. I was not very impressed with the room. I guess I was expecting more from the Hilton. The room was clean, but the bathroom was way too small.

First, there is no lake. The room was clean and comfortable. The included continental breakfast didn't exist. The best part of the hotel is that it is a mile away from an outstanding Italian Bakery with excellent coffee and pastry - Nona's Sweets voted Best Bakery in University City Magazine and it was.

The service was excellent, the bedding was super comfortable and the view was excellent from the 8th floor. Also it was very convient to shopping and many dining options. Downtown was about a 15 minute drive. I would definately stay here again

This was a great hotel for the price. Extremely clean and updated. Many shops and restaurants surround the hotel. We would definately stay here again.

The hotel was great, the service excellent and the room was wonderful including the view. Near great shopping and easily accessbile to downtown Charlotte and Concord Mall and the Speedway. Will definitely stay there again.

The room was really nice and the location was great. There are a lot of restaurants and shops close by. It's also close to the Highway and not far from downtown. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

The Hilton Charlotte met my personal and business needs. It was perfect after a long day. It is located in a convenient area and I could not ask for a nicer staff. I definitely plan to stay here everytime I am in the Charlotte area.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We were in town for some concerts at an amphitheatre that was nearby. We stayed for 3 nights and the only complaint we have is that one of the days our room was not made up by housekeeping.

Not sure it lived up to the four star rating, but was very nice and a pretty good deal for the money. Rooms were fairly spacious and the room amenities very nice. The pool was nothing to bark at but was adequate. Would recommend staying here.

Did not even stay after paying for it. I booked a double bed room for a friend and I to stay and upon check in was told the booking was simply a request. The only had a king bed room available. This is after I paid for the room. Did not receive my money back and will did not stay at the hotel. Was unable to find one close due to a concert event in town and ended up having to drive the two hours home. Staff was rude and unprofessional.

Went down for work and had one heck on an enjoyable stay. Staff is the best. The bar staff was friendly and outgoing. My room was very comfortable and clean. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

I recently stayed here for the Nascar race at Lowes Motor speedway. This is a wonderful place. I love the location as we were 5 miles from the speedway. I wish we would have stayed longer. The boardwalk is great as we walked down to eat dinner and went for a long walk on the walking/jogging trail in the morning. The staff was very nice and accommidating as we were traveling with a 7 month old. They don't normally have microwaves in the rooms but brought us one (at no extra charge) when we inquired about one to heat up the bottles. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

It was a great hotel. the staff was friendly. if you going to a concert at the Verizon wireless amphitheater its a great place to stay. The room service's Italian sandwich is soooooooo good. it has fresh mozzarella! beds are conferable and the room was very cozy. The TV was nice and big, but the picture wasn't that good. the boardwalk in the back was a great place to have a beer after the concert. over all i would go back.

Hilton Charlotte University Place was undergoing lobby construction and from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. there was constant drilling and exit closures. Additionally, the hotel web page stated there was complimentary continental breakfast at this hotel and that was not the case. Continental breakfast for $12.95 and a "hot" breakfast was $15.95. I will not choose a Hilton Hotel for future travel needs.

The hotel was beautiful. Our room was very nice. The location was great. There was renovation going on and the elevator was out of service briefly. We took the stairs from the 7th floor and found there were no signs indicating what floor and ways to exit. There was also a dirty washcloth found under our bathroom sink vanity.
