Excellence location, on the beach and 15min walking to Olympic Port. Metro is ~4 or 5 blocks away, which is not exactly very close, but perfectly manageable. Room were comfortable and clean. I missed a queen or king bed... My room had 2 single.

Booked at the last minute and probably paid a little too much, but I could see the Mediterranean from the window. I walked everywhere, which was the plan, and the surrounding neighborhood and proximity to the water were both a plus. Free wifi in the lobby wasn't mentioned - but was discovered. Overall room was clean and comfortable.

The rooms need to be repainted once in a while, but the staff is doing a great job to keep them clean. I wish we had a fan in the bathroom, it was hard to breath after taking a shower, but otherwise I did like this hotel. It was very close to the beach and restaurants. I would stay there again.

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the beach. I wanted to be able to go swimming and leave everything in the hotel room, and for this the hotel was perfect. I also liked the quiet of the location after a day sightseeing in Barcelona. There is a bus that is very close to the hotel and the metro is a little farther away, but not bad. There is also a great area of "pools" in the ocean that is a 20 minute walk away, although there are several nice beaches very close to the hotel, basically across the street. The receptionist was very helpful, she gave us a map of barcelona and marked the metro and bus to the city , also a map of local cafes and restaurants. There were quite a lot of choices a few blocks away which only took 10-15 minutes. some cafes offered a coffee with a crossiant/muffin etc for breakfast for a few euros. Surprisingly there weren't many […] English signs around Spain as I though, people in Spain were very friendly and helpful even though it was hard for them to speak in English but we managed to get through each other with a bit help of body language. Follow the metro sign on post and painted on the pavement when you need to switch from train to Metro. The location of hotel was good, a few stops away from city but with the sea nearby which I prefer, the room with particial sea view. Had a good walk around the sea which was a bit late for us to discover there were quite a lot of seafront cafes the night before we left, otherwise would have had a meal with a view! Walk to port olympic, may take more than 30-45 minutes, more going on there. A bit let down by the shower control, a tiny part missing and a bit scrtatch mark in the bath, it took me a while to work out the shower, but the bathroom were modern which I liked. Public transport was good, clean and easy to get to places. we bought the T-10 card which gave you 10 times usage on metro, train and bus, we used 2 of them during our 4- days stay, we walked most of the time around town. A classy hotel with a great sea view (junior suite) but with a disapponting service. As we were tourists, we used to leave early and return late in the night and hence we interacted with the night staff only who we found to be very unhelpfull. On the second night we had problems with the ac and the night staff just expressed helplessness and promised […] to reffer to the day shift (ac was working when returned next) and did not even offer to change the room for the night. Also, housekeeping could have been better considering it to be a 4-star. The towels and the bathrobes were not kept in a proper manner and that consumables were not properly replenished (sugar and red tea were missing)... Also, for a tourist, the hotel is situated at one end of Barcelona with no shopping area nearby and the tourist places were at a distance - approacable only by bus/taxi. Hotels windows all filthy, difficult to see through. Requested nicer room but told "all the same". Rooms cleaned very late every day and never done properly. Same black hair on our shower wall for three days. Under beds the dust is very visible. No pool, no view. Door surround to shower rotten making door to bathroom not able to open properly. No extractor […] fan in bathroom. Poor standard of toiletries for this price of hotel. Breakfast not very appealing especially at 14 euros. Everything self service, even tea and coffee reminding me of a cheap ski hotel. Most stark difference here was at least in a cheap ski hotel they don't mind if guests take an apple or pear with them after breakfast. In this hotel there was actually a laminated sign on the table telling you not to do this, in four languages! We ate on the beach at beach bars, not cheap but much more pleasant. Plus was the proximity to the beach which are lovely but if the weather had not been so kind to us not sure it would have been such an advantage. Read more

I have been there for a business trip, i didn't eat at the hotel so i can't say about it. The hotel is not close to the city centre but i needed to be near the CCIB forum and for that is was fine, 10-15 min walking distance. Clean, good size room and good service and free internet. i found the hotel service very satisfactory in all aspects. the staff were very helpfull on providing information on how to get around, helping with questions and anything we needed to feel comfortable in the hotel. the maid service was also excellent, we were able to come back every day to a sparkling clean room and bathroom with fresh towels, linnen […] and everything neat and orderly. for western european ppl the hotel rooms might look more 3* but it had everything you need and bathroom and room seemed brand new. just the mini bar was very very expensive. all in all we had an amazing holiday and i would def recommend for a group of friends who like nightlife and hanging out at the beach in this beautiful new area called olympic port! Chambre correcte et spacieuse, mais salle de bain très basique avec des variations de tempetature de l'eau sous la douche très désagréables. Pas de cafetière ou bouilloire dans la chambre. Literie inconfortable. Pas de connexion wifi dans les chambres. Ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles.

The front desk team were fantastic, top quality through and through. Our room was also very nice and comfortable. My only concern was that breakfast was not as enjoyable as the restaurant staff kept on throwing and banging plates and cutlery around making a rather annoying atmosphere.

Het personeel aan de balie leek enigszins stug en gemaakt vriendelijk, maar op zich wel hulpvaardig bij vragen. De kamer was nogal gedateerd, en leek zo uit 1981 te komen. Wir waren zu zwei Paaren eine Woche zur Städtetour in Barcelona. Hotel liegt etwa 5 Km vom Zentrum entfernt. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind durch Metro oder Bus aber gut zu erreichen. Besonders an heißen Tagen (und die sind häufig) ist die Erreichbarkeit von Meer und Strand (nur ca. 300m entfernt) ein Vorteil. Der Service und das Personal waren nett und […] höflich. Alle sprachen zumindest englisch, teilw. auch ein bißchen deutsch. Einchecken war schon um 9.00 morgens möglich. Das Personal brachte für einen Neuling in Barca viele Infos rüber.Auch liegt einiges an Prospektmaterial aus. Frühstück im Hotel war uns zu teuer, gefrühstückt haben wir in Cafes in der Nähe. Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Fußboden und Mobiliar sind renovierungsbedürftig, waren aber sauber. Es wurde täglich das Zimmer bereitet und gereinigt. Zimmer lagen im 6. Stock (empfehlenswert), daher auch bei geöffnetem Fenster keine Lärmbelästigung zb. von der davor liegenden Schnellstraße. Beide Lifte funktionierten einwandfrei, auch sonst keine technischen Mängel (Klimanalage, Kühlschrank, Lampen usw.) Wir würden uns wieder für das Hotel entscheiden. Read more

Hyggelige ansatte som viste god service fra første møte. God romservice. Nærmere stranda kunne du ikke kommet, en helt passelig spasertur ned til stranda. Om kvelden kunne man ta t-banen til byen, det var veldig enkelt å komme seg med metro rundt. Turistbussen stoppet like ved hotellet.

Frokosten var ikke inkludert, men for en grei pris var det lettvint å spise i den store spisesalen. Den smakte godt - bortsett fra lunkent tevann :( Serviceinnstilte folk i resepsjonen! Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig für Sightseeing. Man ist auch sehr schnell am Meer. Das Frhstück war für die Qualität und Auswahl mit knapp 15 Euro zu teuer. Wir haben in der Umgebung in einer Bar gefrühstückt. Mit dem Taxi haben wir ca. 40 Euro zum Flughafen bezahlt. nous avons passé un séjour de 5jours dans cet hôtel, il est confortable (grande chambre, grand lit, grande sdb) service bar (un peu cher) la station de métro 'POBLENOU' est à une dizaine de minute à pied. Ett bra hotell som ligger nära stranden (ca 300 m). Buss, affärer och minst tre bra enklare restauranger ligger mindre än fem minuter bort. Mycket bra hotellpersonal som pratar bra engelska och är serviceinriktade. Lite tråkig bar bara och restaurangen på hotellet var inte öppen annat än för frukost när jag var där. Een prima hotel, het personeel aan de balie spreekt erg goed engels en helpen je graag met al je vragen. De kamers zijn erg netjes en worden elke ochtend schoongemaakt. Bis auf obige Kleinigkeiten ist das Hotel zu empfehlen, Frühstücken sollte man aus Kostengründen in der City. Umgebung des Hotels sehr ordentlich, man ist schnell am Meer.
