Pros: Great price. Clean. Front desk staff speaks multiple languages, very helpful and friendly. Very near to public transportation (both metro and bus). The hotel is very close to the Marques de Pombal metro station, but about 3 stops to city center, or a 20 min walk. It had a good breakfast buffet and very consistent free WiFi connection. Service was decent, they helped me make reservations but didn't seem to have many suggestions. Rooms aren't very spacious, but it was clean and well maintained.

Location is excellent, just next to the metro station in the central metro line. Few stations and you are right in the historical center. Room is extremely small, you can hardly walk around a bed. It was all right for me as I was not there during a day and only was coming to sleep there. But it was nice and clean and comfortable. There was a problem […] with hot water one day and it took them about an hour to fix it and I had to threaten them with the refund but they fixed it. Still, you have to run the water for a minute to get hot water. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is nice. Overall, while it is a nice hotel, it should be 3 stars and not 4 stars. I only stayed for one night on my way to a conference, but I would certainly go back. Small rooms, but a lovely bathroom. Very friendly baggage service. I arrived before my room was available and it was no problem to store my suitcase. When I returned later that afternoon, my suitcase had been delivered to my room! Nice touch! My two adult daughters and I used the hotel as home base as we took two bike trips--one through the Alentejo and one through the Algarve. The first two stays (3 of us in the same room) were just fine. The last stay was in a much inferior "triple" room that was totally inadequate for three adults.

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel Dom Carlos Park. Very convenient location, able to walk to Gulbenkian Museum through Park Edward VII. Good breakfast. Hotel staff recommended an excellent restaurant less than 10 min walk away - Maestro. Fresh food, good service and value.

Convenient location, 10minutes walk to downtown. Checkin staff appeared to be new and inexperienced unable to recommend specific restaurants just advised us to go to the city centre where there are many restaurants! He also was not aware of bus or tram routes to Belem.

Very nice hotel, right in the centre of the city near the the large roundabout at the bottom of Edward VII Park, convenient secure parking just round the corner, excellent wifi in our room, lovely breakfast included in the price, most helpful front desk staff. Dom Carlos Park is between the Gulbenkian and the rest of the main tourist sites, so that you can walk to most of them and take a short bus/metro ride to the rest. It is seperated only by a road junction from the beautiful Edward vii Park, and lies at the top of the avenue Liberada which means a gentle 20 minute walk down hill to the town centre, the […] Baixa. This hotel is great. Fantastic Location, 1 minute from Marques de Pombal Square, underground also 1 minute away (by the square). Excellent serice. Staff was very friendly, very clean rooms, good breakfast and free wi-fi (I had an iphone). I recommend it and I certainly will book this hotel again when ever I return to Lisbon.

Vielen Dank für sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Hotel liegt fast direkt vor Marques de Pombal, U-Bahn zu Fuß in 2-3 Min. und Bus Haltestelle vom Flughafen ist auch zu Fuß in 5 Min. erreichbar. Sehr praktisch , und angenehm und sicher auch Nacht Umgebung zu laufen. Ich habe Standard Doppelzimmer für mich allein benutzt, vielleicht für Paare ein bisschen […] klein aber nur zum schlafen ist kein großes Problem zu sein. Hotellet i sig selv var ca. hvad jeg forventede til prisen. Værelset trak op og morgenmaden ned. Til gengæld var vi meget imponerede over personalet, som altid var søde og hjælpsomme og gjorde det til et rigtig godt ophold. Og så var det dejligt at det lå så tæt på en metrostation; det gjorde det meget nemmere at komme rundt i byen.
