"Fantastic hotel for family"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
All perfect! Huge suites, great staff, outstanding pool, close to everything.
"Nice place, good deal for the money"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We stayed here for the good rates, and were within a 5 minute walk to Doubletree and the other premier hotels and also the awesome Ale House (try the chicken twisters - yummi). The staff at the front desk were awesome, though the sales desk BS'd us by telling us that their tickets were the same cost as at the gate of Universal. Universal gate was cheaper. They also pushed for us to get a 2 day pass saying it takes 28 hours to get thru the two parks. Well we bought the 1 day pass and we were on and off ALL the rides in both parks by 3PM and were heading back to Island of adventure to ride some again. But if we bought the two day pass we would've been bored out of our mind. Granted we did go to Universal on a Tuesday and there were few people there. Also the sales desk told us it was a 15 minute walk. Me and my friends are in marathon shape, it still took us 30 minutes to get there. Lastly they told us that since we are staying in a hotel close to Universal we'd get in at 8, another lie, we arrived at 8:15 and we weren't allowed in until 9, only guests staying in Universal itself at the expensive premier hotels were allowed early entry. So in summation; I would recommend La Quinta but don't go buy your tickets from the liars at the sales desk for any parks. PS - our room smelled like someone smoked in it, it was mild so we didn't complain and the windows opened, that was nice.
"nice comfotable room with updated decor"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
I enjoyed my stay but did not get to eat breakfast because they ran out of a lot of items an hour before they stopped serving it.
"Close to Universal/priced OK"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This Days Inn is very old and could use a major overhaul. We had booked 2 nights and the first room was uncomfortable and dirty. Plus bugs. In the morning we requested another room and were immediately upgraded to a larger, cleaner, more comfortable room. Front desk was eager to help and maintenance staff also helped to fix a missing chair leg in the new room. Overall we probably would not recommend this Days Inn except for its location and price (be aware of the 'resort' fee added at check-in per day). This is no resort.

International Drive's largest claim to fame is the Universal Orlando Resort, home to two theme parks — Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios; the water park, Wet 'n Wild; and the entertainment area, CityWalk. The I-Ride trolley (really a bus) stops frequently along the street. At the north end of International Drive are two shopping meccas: Prime Outlets-Orlando and The Mall at Millenia.

"Close to Universal and Main Roads"
I think they should have a couple of Umbrellas at the pool for some shade. There isn't any natural shade if you don't want to be in hot sun. Otherwise very nice... Great breakfast!!
"close to attractions & convention center"
I've stayed at this hotel twice now, with good service both times. Close to convention center and Universal Studios & Sea World. Disney is just a few minutes away.
"site close to Universal Studios."
The walls were thin, and the red hat ladies were noisy! The cleanliness was at best average. If I paid full price I would have been very unhappy, but the rate I got made the overall stay acceptable.
"Comfortable"
My family and I loved our room. It was nice and clean. I especially appreciated the roll in shower for my friend in a wheelchair. Will go back.

Staff very courteous , cheerful and helpful.
The Hotel provides Shuttle to the area parks and is right next to the I-Ride Trolley. Universal is Just about a mile away and you could walk to it. Wet and Wild is a 1/2 mile away. All the staff is very nice and freindly. But the night time staff really watches out for us. We were 3 women on this trip, and they genuelily should corncern for our well […] being. There is a little store in the Hotel, that stays open until 11. It was wonderful. Room Carpet could be a little cleaner and it took 3 pillows to make up 1 thin one. I loved this Hotel and would stay again. Read more
"Hotel suite"
I had a king suite or was suppose to be a suite. Was very small and had old tube tvs. Fridge didn't get drinks cold after leaving them all night the door stuck so u couldn't get in or out of the room. Way too expensive to pay for a suite when most all hotels regular rooms are bigger and we never had any hot water.
"a 'OK' choice"
The inn overall is pretty nice. Free-wifi gives us a lot of convenience. There is 1 shuttle going to and coming back from universal studio everyday and 2 shuttles going and coming back from Disney world Magic Kingdom. You can walk 20-30 mins to universal if you want, That's what I did since I arrived at 10am to the hotel on my first day. For the last […] shuttle that is coming back from Disneyworld, it was pretty crowded and a lot of people had to stand, so don't expect too much from the shuttles. The breakfast was really nice, it had a lot of choices and was pretty good qualuty. For minor issues, the quality of the tissues in rooms are pretty low, the toilet and bathtub clogs easily but they fixed it right away. A small spider was found on my last day. However, these issues did not bother me too much. Overall, I would recommend this inn if you don't mind to stay a hotel that is far away from Disney World. Read more
"Country inn universal"
This hotel is horrible-mold in bathroom and the same key was given to another guest for my room twice.will never stay there again. Very disappointing because the Gainesville country inn was lovely.
soft beds - very convenient to International Drive stuff, Wet and Wild, and Universal Studios. You can purchase attraction tickets here too.
"not good"
My toilet never worked. My beds both had some.kind of bugs on them because I got bit. Noisy room with Blvd right out window. Smelled like curry throughout hotel I thought I was in India. Although it was only 2 sleepless nights never again I cant imagine anymore than 1. Don't do IT!
"Country Inn and Suites Orlando"
Very clean and quiet!
"country inn and suites"
The hotel was pretty nice. At check in the front desk clerk was friendly. The checkout clerk wasnt really. She was on the phone so.. The breakfast was really the only bad part. Not much to choose from!
"Good place"
Plenty of options for breakfast in the morning. Comfortable room and perfect location. Housekeeping had plenty of hours to clean the room but didn't. That's the one and only negative part of the stay. Next time I will stop by front desk on my way out to make sure room is clean when I return.
"Disappointed!"
I booked this hotel because of all of the good reviews I read on Hotels.com and I was VERY disappointed! It was very run down, the breakfast was gross, and it was not clean. The walls were paper thin and all night long I heard constant doors slamming and our neighbors talking!! It is right near an intersection so I also heard traffic (horns, cars running..) […] all night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! This is definitely a case where you get what you pay for and next time I will spend the extra money!!! Read more
"Good for its price"
We checked out at 4:45am to catch a flight. We asked the front desk to get us a cab, ended up getting us a random van that doesn't look a licensed commercial vehicle. Room was clean in general, a little old. Breakfast is alright. Good location. 15minute walk from many restaurants and ITrolley station is right by the hotel. They also offer tons of local […] tours at the guest service desk. Read more

"Great hotel, easy to locate from Turnpike & I-4"
Great hotel, clean, friendly staff and good location. Several restaurants in the area. Good hot breakfast, good coffee, and juices - perfect to start your morning and resume your trip. I'd stay again if I'm in the Orlando area and will recommend it to friends.
Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room was nice and comfortable .breakfast was nice. If you are a light sleeper this hotel is noisy not well insulated.
Bathtub clean but stained
Attended a convention at the Orange County Convention Center which was 2.5 miles away from the hotel. Instead of taking a cab the front desk suggested I take the green line shuttle which was $1.25 (Need exact change) instead of a $15 cab ride and I was there in a couple of minutes. The room was great, breakfast was good and enjoyed my time at the h […] otel. Read more

"Better than I expected"
Newer than expected, staff nice…. 1-2 blocks away from busy strip of Int'l Drive - Very Quiet! 2 mile bus ride to Convention Center for $1.25 (Door-Door). No bar/restaurant, but price was right…..
"HORRIBLE"
Our room wasn't cleaned after the 1st day!! No one seemed to care
"Good Quality"
You get what you pay for.... The hotel was nice and clean as well as the rooms. &nd breakfast was excellent, lot of choices only thing missing was the bacon lol.... all in all my stay was a one i would experience again :)
"Country Inn & Suites by Carson Orlando Universal,"
No rooms were available for an early check in so had to check in after 9pm. Room we were given had not been cleaned so had to get front desk to get us another room. Breakfast was very good as was the comfort of the beds. Bathroom was in poor condition due to water damage but shower worked well.
"Average Stay"
It was a reasonable stay for the price and location.
"Could Be Nicer! Was convenient though"
The room had some cleanliness flaws and a piece of the headboard broke off and fell on me. The breakfast was decent and hot. overall not bad!
"It was worth the money!"
We stayed here for a New Year. Very nice hotel and clean. Breakfest buffet was great. Very close to Universal Studio and Sea World.Good time

"Nice hotel, with ok amenities."
It was nice but eay small. They let us check in 3 hours early, the complementary busted to go to the parks was late. And the morning buffet breakfast was horrible it was never enough food for the amount of people that were there.
"Country Inn - home away from home"
This was a pleasant surprise for the price! It was close to everything. Nice pool (although too cold for me), game room needs to be upgraded, nice exercise room, really good options on Free Breakfast. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was great. My oldest son got sick while we were in Orlando and they allowed us to check out later at no charge […] and were very accomodating when we told them we may have to stay over. They made us feel welcome. We will definitely stay again. Read more
"Excellent Location and Breakfast Buffet"
This property is very well located near by Universal Studios and Wet N Wild. We can walk and in less than 5 minutes you can get to the International Drive. The best thing is the Breakfast Buffet. It is not a simple continental breakfast. Full hot breakfast services. I like it very much.
"Comfort Inn & Suites - Universal"
We stayed for 4 nights with 3 kids and enjoyed our stay. We used the hotel shuttle to and from Universal. Walked back one day and it wasnt too far. Close to everything. Breakfast was great every morning also. Would stay again.
"Close to Universal Studios"
Really liked the location of the hotel. Close to Universal Studios, dining and easy travel to airport. The personnel at the hotel was very helpful and gave us great tips. I would come back to this hotel in Orlando. My only negative is hotel could use some updating.

"Nice and Comfortable with a great price"
Never stayed at a Country Inn before and will now look for them when I travel. The price was a no-brainer and it included a hot breakfast every morning with fantastic service. Joey at the front desk was a pleasure every time we came back to the hotel but a special shout out to NOORI at the gift shop who is the heart and soul of the place. She is not […] only sweet - simply put a lifesaver. We forgot a belt, she not only had one but got the holes punched out to it would fit. She had stamps for mailing, and got them to the desk before the mail came, she became our go to person away from home. If this is the quality of staff Country Inn & Suites hires in all their locations, you will not be disappointed. Joey and Noori Read more

"Country Inn And Suites Universal"
Fast check in. Joe was a Prince. Looked out for every detail. Friendly Staff and Spotless Room. Best Hotel I stayed in, in Orlando in 25 years of coming. Highly Recommend. Breakfast Excellent. Watch out for reviews, Most were wrong.
