Hotel was horrible. I was charged twice, once by hotels.com and then choice put a hold on my credit card for the whole amount for 6 days not just $5.00 like other places do. This is the NASTIEST hotel I have ever stayed in!!! The lobby, hallways and stairways looked like they hadn't been swept, mopped or vacuumed in over a week! The room itself wasn't as bad although we did find a half drank bottle of Pepsi under the edge of the bed so they couldn't have vacuumed very well at all. "Poorly cleaned beds"

To start the minute we walked into the room it stunk. The toilet seat was totally stained and dis-colored it was gross. The refrigerator door seal was dirty. The carpet smelled was ripped & stained. Stayed overnight on the way home from vacation. Location is not all that close to stores or restaurants. Room was large and comfortable even with two portable cribs set up. "Near our travel plans"
The stay at this motel was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and if a problem occurred they were quick to fix it. The pool was nice==a little cold at times but they adjusted the water temp. We were very impressed with the room. It was a suite and had a queen bed, fold out couch, large screen t.v. Very large bathroom with seperate sink and mirror in the other room. We stayed two nights to see the Red River Gorge area. Only problem was the room was reserved by credit card. At check in, was told the card was declined as was my bank debit card and another credit card. If staying for any length of time there is an additional 10% per day charge on your card. It takes Quality up to 10 days to release the hold even though they state it is up to your bank, not true, confirmed with bank and they are still waiting for Quality Inn to release the hold. Which means if you stay for 10 days, you can have up to 100.00 unavailable […] on your CREDIT card (not referring to a debit, even though this applies as well) Overall feeling like a sub-standard dicey motel stay with holds placed on credit card while staying there, definitely not a Hampton Inn or similar type of hotel. We requested a non smoking room with a queen size bed, but there were ashtrays in the room and it smelled of smoke and it permeated our garments to where all had to be dry-cleaned.
