Sonesta ES Suites Andover

I wasn't expecting much when I booked the hotel. This hotel was on a par with a Residence Inn for the room and rest of the facility. The breakfast in the morning was as good as any free buffets. I would definitely stay there again and the staff was extremely courteous.

The hotel was was much nicer than expected and I was shocked and pleased to see a full kitchen and a separate bedroom. Really great hotel for the money. The issue would be for Boston sports fans, they do not (or at least didn't when I stayed) have NESN. Overall, great hotel, I would definitely stay again.

We came to the area to visit Salem. Hotel and staff are fantastic, good breakfast buffet and some nights there was dinner as well. Beds were comfy - 2 bedroom suite was like a small apartment. Only downside was the location - I 93 is a mess during the week at rush hour.

Very nice hotel. Easy to find. Immaculate. Everything was as it should be. Except that their policy on the weekends was to request light maid service, and you had to do it before 5 on Friday. We had a fabulous stay in a 2 bedroom suite which was set up more like an apartment than anything else. Very homey and comfortable. The kids had plenty of place to play and we were within 30 minutes of everything. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was one of the best that we stayed at on this trip. The only complaint was that the air conditioner would not work. The staff did everything in their power to correct the issue, but the A/C was never fixed while we were there. Thank Heavens that a cold front had moved through the area and the windows could be opened.

We stayed here on a family vacation (dog included) when we visited Canobie Park in Salem NH. It was very convenient (only 15 minutes away) for us all. Canobie allows dogs, so it was great to take the family pet for a few hours and then go back to the hotel. Breakfast was good, nothing spectacular but filling. Although the hotel was overall great we had a problem with the reservation and instead of getting double beds with are rooms together we got only one bed with our rooms apart. Also the luggage cart was nowhere to be found.

When we walked into our roomS my 7 yr old grandson said, "This is STUPENDOUS!" and he was right. So much room for so little money. The breakfast (inclulded) was v. good but eggs not great. My family and I had stayed at this hotel a couple of weeks prior to this stay when the Bruins won the Stanley Cup and we enjoyed our stay. So we decided to stay here again over the 4th of July weekend. What a huge mistake this was we checked in on Saturday and we were basically prisoners in our room the rest of the weekend. There was a group of people […] that took it upon themselves to use the common area where the pool and basketball court is located as their private partying area, complete with alcohol, loud music, obscene behavior. There are 3 BBQ grills available for guests all of which were being used by this group which started out with about 25 people and quickly grew to at least 75 to 100 people. At one point my husband went to the desk to complain and see if they would ask them to let us use a grill but the poor clerk was not successful. Later on Saturday evening my husband was so frustrated that we couldn't use the amenities offered that my husband went back down to the desk and requested to speak to a manager, he was told there wasn't one on duty. He asked for a refund and was told this was not possible, feeling trapped he returned to our room. This party continued until the wee hours of the morning and started right back up again first thing Sunday morning many of the people in attendance weren't even paying guest. I requested more towels and had to wait 3 1/2 hours to get them but yet there were non paying guest getting indoor towels given to them by the dozens. There was alcohol and food being served in the pool area even though there were signs prohibiting this. There were bottle caps all over the basketball court. Sunday night a employee went out to ask the party to break it up at 1030pm and was these people were yelling and cursing at her and it wasn't until she said she was calling the authorities that they brought the party into the dinning area. We had the two bedroom suite. It was very roomy and had a bath for each bedroom. It had a very small kitchen area. They had a managers lite dinner, and it was indeed lite. We stay at Staybridge Suites often for the 2 bedroom suites and being pet friendly. We usually travel with our 4 children and the dog and for the 7 of us there is nothing better. Our house was having some work done and we needed a comfortable place for us and the children. Staybridge Suites were close by and what wonderful accomodations for a fun filled weekend. The room was spacious for the 4 of us and the pool was wonderful. The staff was very helpful and the lobby felt like a large comfortable living room.
