It was a great short stay (we didn't stay overnight as we had to go). The only problem I had was as we were checking in, the front desk associate wouldn't let us check in til 3p (we left at 4p). When I told her I have a reservation and we had to leave at 4p anyways, she check us in right away (didn't make sense). I guess if you're a walk in customer, they treat you different. It wasn't like it was a super early check in. It was at 1p.

Stayed at Express Inn while attending a soccer tournament in Decatur, AL. The room was clean and well appointed. Had we known about this motel sooner we could have had more of our team staying there. Some had to drive to Huntsville to find a room. Breakfast in the lobby was disappointing (cold cereal and coffee).
Location.
Situated in Decatur, Courtyard by Marriott Decatur is in the business district and close to Cedar Ridge Golf Course, Princess Theatre Center for the Performing Arts, and Cook's Natural Science Museum. Also nearby is Historic Bank Street.
Hotel Features.
Courtyard by Marriott Decatur has an indoor pool, a spa tub, and a fitness facility. Complimentary high-speed (wired) Internet access is available in public areas.
