The mattress in my room should have been replaced a couple of years ago. It actually sagged toward the middle and was not at all firm. My room did not get cleaned after my first night's stay.

The desk clerk, while polite, didn't seem too concerned that the internet was down, and expected me to just accept it because it was "storming" out. Dirty footprints in the hallway carpet were there when I arrived in the early eve. They were still there the next morning, with no chambermaid in sight. Mini fridge/microwave had crumbs & dirt around the refrig seal, Microwave plastic turntable support had one wheel coated with dirty brown stuff. A paper plate that had fallen behind the fridge was still there from a previous occupant. The air/heat unit had crumbs & other dust & dirt in the vent area. You get what you pay for. Had a place to sleep in relative cleanliness. Breakfast was a farce - no coffee, no sweet rolls no juices. If you like bagels, toast or boiled eggs, it was OK.

The issue we had with the room related to the ho water in the shower. We had hot water the first day. The next three days we did not have hot water when we turned on the shower. We just happened to find out that we could get hot water to the shower if we turned the water on at the sink. Consequently, we had to run the sink water full in order to have […] any hot water to the shower. There was no hot water tothe sink at any time. We did report the issue to the front desk each day. We were told the GM and maintenance were informed. On the day we checked out, we stopped at the front desk once again. We were told the GM said it was an issue with the circulator and moving us to a different room would not have helped. We were the only ones reporting the problem. Everytime that we would use the toilet to use bathroom the toilet would overflow. the best thing about the hotel was the pool the bubbles in the hottub would not even work!!! Hands down the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The lobby was nice & the woman at the front desk was very nice & helpful.Once we got into the actual hotel there were rooms with the doors wide open with people drinking & running around the hallways.We got in our room & it at first glance looked very nice. The shampoo that was left for us was not even enough to wash my hair. There was NO ice in the ice machine. Someone must of called the police because there were 2 cops in the parking lot talking to a group of people. There was a shirtless drunk man in the parking lot that tried to start a fight with my boyfriend as we were walking back to the hotel. After that we decided to lock ourselves in the room for the night & catch some sleep...but could not the room above ours have a constant dripping sound & the alarm clock in our room was making a weird low frequency sound of whining, I had to unplug it to make it stop. In the morning the carpet was a little wet from the hot tub so I placed a towel in the floor & browish yellow soaked through onto the towel... it was so disgusting!! The hotel was about as expected. The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was fantastic. Never have I been to a hotel and been able to eat biscuits and gravy for breakfast. Everything was pretty nice. One complaint is that when someone in another room was using water, it made the water pipes in my bathroom very noisy. Also, there were no double curtains in my first floor window so unless you closed them just right people could see right in from the side walk. Nice pool though.

We switched rooms when we got there as the first set weren't vacuumed and one room was smelling badly of mold. The second rooms still smelled a bit, and the bathrooms showed signs of mold, again it seems the vacuums were not designed to pickup dirt. We had a room with the jacquzzi tub, which I think made all the difference. That was VERY nice. The bed was ok, the pillows were very nice.
