"Top notch hotel with excellent location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
It was wonderful stay in the middle of St. Julians next to the nightlife scene and lots of restaurants nearby, also close to public transportation. Location could not have been better! Just be aware that the surroundings can be noisy due to the bars around in case you mind that. The room was huge and very comfortable (typical Intercontinental facilities) though the sofa in the room was not so stylish. Bed was also very comfortable. Hotel staff was very friendly. Will definitely stay again next time I go to Malta! It made my vacation awesome.
"Great Room but don't order room service!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2012
The room service was very good, but the food was terrible. We ordered the Malta Plater and were very unhappy with it.

"Pretty good hotel, nice location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 3, 2012
The room looked nice, but was small....barely any space to put our suitcases. Very helpful staff. Xlendi is beautiful and close to Victoria. We got dinner included and enjoyed our meal.
"Good value, location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 3, 2012
The apartments were clean and had what was needed for cooking. Floors are tile, so a little cold in the winter. The apartment was only a couple short blocks from the main hotel and the bus stop that took you to Valletta in 10-15 minutes.

The adjoining resorts of Qawra and Bugibba are set on the large St Paul’s Bay, where St Paul was allegedly shipwrecked. Both resorts were purpose-built in the 1980s. Bugibba has a small square, shops, bars, budget restaurants, nightclubs and a small harbour from which several pleasure boat excursions run. Swimming and water sports take place off the promenade and at lidos. Activities in Qawra tend to be hotel-based.

"A cheap accomodation into nowhere"
We booked this hotel because we were looking a cheap place where spending the night, and we got it. In fact, the rewiew can't be separated from the fact that we payed a REALLY low price for the night we stayed, including breakfast! They were waiting for us at the reception even if it was quite late (midnight), the receptionist was english and some-italian […] speaking. The room wasn't unforgettable: quite old furnitures and the double bed was formed by two twin bed pushed together (ok, this is usual), with sheets and blankets OF THE TWIN BEDS TOO (and this is quite unusual, never seen a thing like this, it was impossible to stay and at the end we slept on a single bed). Room was quite clean anyway. The breakfast was quite good, cold and hot beverages and buffet food. Hotel surroundings: anything. When we went out with the morning light (we arrived at night, remember) we were shocked by the desolation around. Fortunately, quite near there is the bus station from where we departed for our malta trip. In conclusion, a decent place for a very low price: we wanted a bed for one night and we got it. But if you're looking for a 4-star hotel for a week, maybe you should consider something else! Read more
