I liked it. When I wanted to check out, there was no one at the desk though, even though I rang the doorbell. So I just left the key on the counter. Traffic is a mess near the interstate, though. Breakfast was mediocre but the coffee was fine.

bathroom was cold and it seemed to take forever for the water to get hot in both the sink and the shower..comp. breakfast was not too bad, just a bit cold for a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and toast , but still tasty. all in all not too bad for the price.

Hotel was very clean. Room was great with nice amount of space. Staff were very friendly. Located right next to mall with many choices for food. Free breakfast in the morning got us off on the right food for the day.

I liked the hotel and the service, however it was about 3 miles off the interstate and when we got there, which was pretty late, NOTHING but a Taco Bell... and the 24 hour grocery store was open. Made getting a bite to eat a bit difficult. This of course is not the Hotels fault...but that is why I gave it only a 3 for location and neighborhood. by Karen from Long Island on 04/10/13

Great place to stay for just one night. The desk clerks were friendly. Not enough towels were provided. The room was small. The location is just 10 minutes away from Green Brier park.

We were told that there would be no additional charge for our pet and we were charged additional. When searching for our room, the lady at the front desk shouted across the reception area to a co-worker on his way out the door and said "is room 205 clean" the guy said "I think" The lady behind the desk handed me our room key and said "you will be in […] room 205" I asked if she was sure it was clean? She shook her head. I asked if I could have cleaning supplies because I like to clean myself. She said "I don't know where it is" I said, you don't have a housekeeping department? As we were getting onto the elevator, she ran out and yelled, 205 is dirty I will have to get you another room. The entire hotel smelled like stale smoke and very musty. We went down to get breakfast in the morning at 10:30 and everything was closed up. Apparently, breakfast is over with at 9:30. When I told him that no one told us that it closed so early and could we please just get some coffee. He said "even Mc Donalds stops serving breakfast now".. As you can see the hotel staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I will NEVER stay here again. Read more

While I was in the shower the front desk started calling incessantly to ask if I was still there. My car was in the parking lot and they could easily tell I was still there, but they called about five times while I was in the shower, getting more annoyed with each call. Stayed here while visiting the Antietam battlefields. The hotel was undergoing renovations but what they have gotten done so far looks great. When it is all finished it will be a very nice hotel. The complimentary breakfast left alot to be desired but do not fear there is a dunkin donuts a block up the road.

We booked this place for a night stay(free breakfast) on our way to Shenondoah National Park, VA. The room and the wash room were decently clean. It was a king size bed room, with a TV, Refrigerator, desk, two chairs and free wi-fi connection . The breakfast was simple but nice. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

The Hotel was nice for a short stay--2 nights. The customer service provided by the front desk left a little to be desired. We ask for an extra pillow the first night and they gave it to us. The second night, we needed another pillow and they said to us "we already gave you an extra one and we don't have any more." It is difficult to believe that they […] had no more pillows... I found it a little rude! We didn't spend too much time in the Hotel, just ate breakfast and came back to sleep. The breakfast was bare minimum with toast, beagles, waffles, juice and coffee. The motel was very hard to get in and out of. The staff was ok. Not friendly but not unfriendly. The breakfast was mediocre. Not bad for the price. The room was clean.

This hotel is convenient as a stopover to Dulles Airport from the North. There is nothing luxurious about it, but it's perfectly adequate for this chain.

It was ok. Im used to best western and this is no best western. but the folks were friendly and i got a good nights sleep. toilet could have been a little cleaner but it did work.

i thought the room was fine ...clean and up to date......the beds were comfortable and plenty of space to walk around . the bathroom is small but what do you expect from this hotel . towels were big and very white. the problem i had with this hotel is the breakfast. i thought the breakfast was terrible. i even skipped breakfast and went around the corner […] to find better. no fruit and the choices were terrible. i rather a hotel give no breakfast then the breakfast they offer and think is great. i'm not fancy but the breakfast was terrible. The room was modern and clean. There were plenty of TV channels to surf. It was convenient to restaurants and not too far from Thurmont where we wanted to visit.

We found that our room had bed bugs. After notifying management, all they would do is give us another room instead of our money back. This is bad business and I would not recommend this hotel.
