Th hotel is well located and only a short walk from The Royal Mile. The staff are friendly but the main drawback is the noise from The Three Sisters pub which during the Festival is open until 3a.m!. Rooms overlooking the courtyard need to have double glazing to eliminate the music so be prepared not to have much sleep

The location is great and if you are looking for a reasonably priced crash pad with easy access to the main tourist spots in Edinburgh, this may work. Rooms seemed old, certainly dated and not very comfortable. We only needed a place to sleep, so it was fine for us. Luckily we were there during the week because it seems like it is a party on the weekends. The 3 sisters pub below has the making for a meat market/discoteque karaoke bar of grand proportions. It's huge and has a very large outdoor space. The staff was helpful and friendly and for the right price, it would be worth it as long as noise and a less than perfect hotel weren't deterrents. The lift was a bit scary, bouncing before taking off, missing buttons, but worked fine. Trekking from the mile down into cowgate was a good amount of exercise, so be prepared to do some climbing up and down the narrow streets. Overall, it was a fine experience, but we would certainly explore other options if going back to Edinburgh.

* The hotel is not the expensive one, and is located in the lowest part of Cowgate street (between the bridges). The place is little bit gloomy at night, but is very close to the center of the Old Citi. * The huge pub in the front yard may be noisy until late, but not too much. * I had a chance to live in both single and twin room. The single one is terrible - very small, pretty dusty and uncomfortable. The twin room was much much better. * The "free internet" was not working, and they did not manage to fix it during the whole week. * The staff is very friendly, however.

Hotel was in a convenient location, so we booked it despite comments about noise, etc. We were glad we did. There may be noise from the pub if you are in a room overlooiing it, but where we were, (309), it was very quiet. Good value for money

Very good location....the Royal Mile is less than a 5 minute walk. Hotel would probably be loud on the weekends since it is connected to a club. The bathroom was very outdated, and needed to be remodeled badly. Breakfast was included and very good. No complaints really....just not as cushy and cozy as some hotels.

I paid about 100 USD per night inclusive of all taxes. Couldn't be happier...even though we were staying here during the week...I can expect the adjoining bar to be a little noisy over the weekends. Overall, A+!

Supportive staff, convenient breakfast and bar. Hard to find if you are a foreigner driving into town, and parking is about 1/4 mile away, but once you are there it's a good pivot point.

This was the hotel we stayed in the night before we flew back home to the States. Although it smelled a little funky, it seemed clean and the bed was moderately comfortable. Although this was not the most posh place to stay, the location can't be beat and the biergarten/pub down below was excellent, with a great atmosphere. In fact, we regretted not having booked our first part of our stay in Edinburgh, at this location -- although our first hotel was gorgeous and very fine, it was not centrally located and we found this was more important to us than we thought. We'd definitely consider booking this place again when we go back for another trip.

Vågar man trycka ändå? Frukost intogs i baren Three Sisters.

Veldig hyggelig stab!!!
