Good business hotel but local management should do more to ensure guests have access to Gym.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel for the money"
Hotel is located close to the Granada Mall which is great for eating or shopping. Access to major intersections (East Ring Road & Route 40) is within a couple of minutes due to the way traffic patterns work in the area. Construction is going on in the area so roads are a bit bumpy and lots of road cones & concrete barriers (not unusual for Saudi Arabia). Overall […] the hotel is pleasant. I only ate at the restaurant once and the food was good but expensive. Room comfort is good, bed is comfortable, and the suites have a minimal but adequate mini kitchen. Housekeeping service kept everything neat and clean. One important tip: bring a two prong 220V plug adapter with you as the plugs are European style. There are also a couple of three prong British style outlets. You will want to have an extension cord with you as well if you need to plug in anything that you need close to you as outlets are spread out quite a way. The only downfall I experienced was with the walk-in showers. Apparently the designers didn't know how to install an appropriate channel to keep the water in the shower. The water flowed out and essentially flooded the bathroom floor. Some rooms have a tub/shower combination but the tub height is so much that if you are not flexible enough, you'll have a hard time getting in and out or possibly slip and fall. "They could pay me"
to stay there again and I wouldn't. Breakfast for 80SAR!!!!!!! Cheap and slow Wi-Fi because they don't want to invest in a better system, the only thing they're good at is sucking you out of your money. The smell of the hotel is like staying on top of a sewage system. You have to smell it to understand what I'm saying.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I stayed in this hotel for the second time. It is good in general; however, the following comments from my last stay: Bad Smell in the Lobby: I noticed in my last stay; that there is a bad smell in the Lobby. It could be from the fountain water, I am not sure. Room AC I stayed in a room with the following comments related to the room AC: - The AC […] placed on front of the bed; this make the flow of air directly to your face while sleeping. It could be uncomfortable to some guests. - On AUTO mode, the AC is noisy when it switched on, does not help quietness. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Poorly desined hotel rooms."
Hotel has design faults. The room lighting is badly desined, the bath room is also designed badly. The shower door opens inside and does not leave space to come out or close the door after entering. Very un-comfortable. The room lighting is very poor and badly located there is no place to read due to poor lighting. There is only one electrical outlet […] and it is behind the curtains. A home made electrical extension is provided which has opening and is not suitable to operate due to safety reason. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Equilibrato, periferico, dignitoso"

"Good for the airport"
12/01/14 David M Leicestershire, United Kingdom
I chose this hotel mainly for its location as I had to go back and forth to the airport and wanted to avoid the worst of the traffic. My room was a junior suite and the size of a small apartment. The reception staff were some of the most helpful I have encountered. The buffet dinner was nothing special but perfectly adequate. The swimming pool is rather small and rather disappointing. The Granada shopping mall makes for a good walk out if you need one and has a large supermarket if you want any supplies.
"Perfect hotel for business purposes"

Located closed to Granada Business Park and Granada Mall, but a bit far from the centre of the city. It is a good place where stay if you need to go to do business at Granada Towers and it is relatively near to the airport. Be careful with the celebrations at the hotel on weekends, sound is too much louder.

I already stayed a few times in the said hotel and i can say it is ok but not more. Its close to the airport, the rate for room per night is fair. Its time renovate the room i would suggest. There is buffet for lunch and breakfast but not really special. Indoor pool and small gym is available.
"Very nice hotel, staff are very friendly and the food is very nice."
09/16/14 Chrisradioman Swansea, Wales, United Kingdom
I stayed here for 5 nights, 3 days in my plans changed and I had to cut a night out, no problem at all. The staff are very friendly and the place is very clean. I stayed in room 1205. Very nice room would sleep a family no problem. I had a kitchen and a very big living room, 2 balconies. 2 air-con units, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. It was wasted on just me, the internet like all hotels in this region the internet is censored. You can still surf the net though and the wi-fi is quite fast. The Granada Mall is just across the road and is a great place for shopping for designer gear. Despite being covered from head to toe in black Burka's the women still shop like mad for designer gear and makeup which is a bit bizarre. The restaurant is buffet style and is very nice, plenty of deserts, meat dishes and sweets. Tea, Coffee, water and juice on tap. All the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are cleaned everyday with complimentary water, tea coffee, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, shower gel, razors, etc.,etc. The hotel outside is shaped like a cruise liner which is very interesting and all the service staff dress like sailors. There is a nice pool here and a gym. Every floor has a shoe polish machine which is very handy and I used it everyday.
"beware of the wedding parties"
09/04/14 Joe1723 Salisbury, United Kingdom
I stayed in this hotel for 10 weeks whilst on business. The room was fine but it smelt strongly of tobacco even though it was specified as a non smoking room. The Philipino staff are very helpful in taking your luggage and taking care of your laundry, with a little gratuity they really do look after you if you need help. There is a basic gymnasium here that never seemed to have any air conditioning on the go and a tiny pool that will be crowded if more than three people attempt to get in. The biggest issue here was the noise levels, I am sure that the walls are made from cardboard as I could clearly hear the couple in the adjoining room enjoying themselves in some physical activity. This hotel is also used on most weekends for wedding parties when they section off some of the lifts and create a women only section. The music at these parties is loud enough to wake the dead and when the women begin to chant there really is no way you will get any sleep or peace until after 2.00am at the earliest. The breakfast is fine though after 10 weeks it is repetitive but no complaints as they will cook you fresh omelettes, fried and scrambled eggs and there was always a good fruit selection.
"Great for a business stay"
09/02/14 AnneFrannie Guildford, United Kingdom
I have stayed here twice - once in July and again in August this year. The hotel is good and the staff are helpful and polite. It is perfect for a business trip and is well located, close to the Granada shopping mall. Rooms are clean and generously sized. Complimentary toiletries include toothbrush and disposable razor along with soap shampoo, conditioner and body lotion - plenty to see you through if your packing was less than comprehensive! I had room service breakfast once (the rates are room only) and the breakfast was fine but not terrifically good value (which is the reason for an overall rating of very good rather than excellent). I'd certainly use this hotel in the future.
"Good hotel in convenient location"
07/22/14 gschaafs66 Indialantic, Florida
Spent 5 nights here in July. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The room was very large, with a sitting area/TV room, as well as a small kitchenette area, along with a large bedroom. As others have mentioned, the buffet was a great choice for dinner the one night I ate at the hotel. It is a 2 minute walk to get to the Grenada Mall. Wifi was very reliable with decent speed. I would return if business brings me back to Riyadh.

A OK hotel in an expensive market (Riyadh is an expensive place). Service was very good and the breakfast is also good. Table to work on in the rooms is a ergonomic disaster - too high. Free Wi-Fi is good. Overall a good experience.
"Good for what it is"
06/03/14 Steve H York, United Kingdom
Stayed here for a week in May on business. Upsides: very friendly staff, excellent food (the buffet was always hot and tasty), spacious, comfortable rooms, the Grenada Mall just over the road and not a difficult drive from the airport. Downside - a faint smell of drains on entering my room which soon passed, and the building site outside. This is quite a stylish hotel, with the boat shape of the building giving the inside a pleasant feel that is a welcome change from the usual boxes.

Stayed here in Jan 2014 on a business trip. Room rent was a tad bit high but decided to go ahead with the hotel due to the central location. I only had to walk to attend the business meeting. Room service and food quality was good. I would always go for this hotel in Riyadh if available.
