The room was clean, and the mini-fridge was very useful. Breakfast was good and included biscuits and gravy and do-it-yourself waffles, so they came out hot! The location was close to I-4 and to our kids' home. We would stay again!

The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. Always had a smile for the people in the lobby and surrounding areas. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable for the most part. Since the interstate is very nearby, there are some noises, but not bad. The room itself and the ammenities were clean and worked well. The one exception was the bathtub […] drain. Nice hotel and very nice staff. But the musty smell was difficult to deal with. They sprayed constantly with Fa-breeze but the musty smell kept coming back. We stayed at the Jameson Inn Lakeland while in town to see Garry Chapman seminar. The room was very clean and spacious, nothing fancy but the bed was VERY, VERY comfortable. We did not use any amenities as we were only there for one night. We really appreciated the in- room microwave and fridge it came in handy for our late check in. A pleasant one night stay in this hotel. Room had King bed, microwave, refridge, coffee/tea making, Free WIFI, free continental breakfast. Free parking. Carpet could use some updating in room. Telephone did not work, but we reported it and they were going to fix it that day. Would stay here again.

BUT- a team of kids in town for a Sunday soccer meet arranged to be un-chaperoned on our wing and would not shut up til 1:30am. The night clerk came up to ask them to be quiet, but it did not help. Upon checking in, the desk employee "made faces" when seeing our reservation on his computer. I joked with him and said "that's not a good face for the public". He replied "you booked this at a lower rate".....I did not say anything. But thought it was in poor taste for his response to our reservation. Also, there was no light above the sink/coffee […] area either day. We reported the coffee pot and dryer were not working - due to the electrical completely being "out". Seriously, the rooms and common areas at this particular Jameson Inn are so clean that you could probably eat off of the floors. All horizontal and vertical surfaces and fabrics are immaculate. If you are normal, you will appreciate this. If you are OCD, you will cherish the experience. Different... your armoire is your closet. TV is on the right-hand […] side. The staff is attentive, professional, and friendly. The breakfast of various sealed-package carbohydrates and fresh fruit will do the job of getting you off to start your day. The fitness center has the universal weight machine and a couple of ways to get in your cardio. The pool is tiny. If you're staying in Lakeland, all of the pools are tiny at the only cluster of hotels in Lakeland off of the loop, so you will have a tiny pool no matter where you stay. Do not expect to hold even a family reunion at this pool. Expect to resume swimming when you get back home. On the other hand, the pool is perfect for Dad to supervise one or two young children. The hotel was okay. The water smelled funny out of the tap and in the shower. The carpet was not very clean. We weren't always left with adequate towels. Otherwise, it was acceptable. We stayed here to be close to the Detroit Tigers Spring Training games. We walked to the games, so the location was good for us.
