My wife and I spent one night at the Melody Lanes and were very satisfied with the accommodations and service provided. We were only in Branson for one night to celebrate my wife’s birthday, but I will certainly stay at the Melody Lanes again on my next trip into Branson. All of the staff that I had dealings with were friendly and courteous, the bed was comfortable, the room did not smell like cigarettes as I have found in many of the other motels in Branson that we have stayed at, all in all, for the price, the Melody lanes are well worth the money.

We had comp. cookies after the show that we attended and the breakfast was more than we needed. Overall, we will stay there again because everything on the strip is within our walking distance! Hotel room was large for the price i paid had two beds in it which worked out good. i didn't really like it being on the strip since they don't have any traffic lights. It's a living hell trying to turn left when there's nonstop traffic from both sides. Besides that my overall experience was pretty good i would definatley go back there and stay again if i got the same price i paid before.

Me and a friend stayed at Melody Lane Inn in Oct. 2009. We chose this location because it was close to entertainment or food. The receptionist was very nice, but the hotel maid service was terrible. They did not clean our room after the first night we stayed there. We had to call down to the desk to send someone up to clean it in the afternoon after we complained. The breakfast was ok, but nothing to write home about. I really don't think we will stay here again.

Lots of deferred maintenance. Had to walk through assorted trash and cigarette butts. No smoking meant they removed the ash trays (Room reeked of stale cigarette smoke). Furniture was done in 1950's "Modern" and wore out in the 1960's ! You could feel every spring in the mattress. Stains on the worn out sofa. We canceled our second night stay. Staff was not helpful. The first room we were given had a musty smell when we first went in. We thought it was probably because the room had not been used recently, but then when we came back later on it was still the same. We discovered that in the bathroom there was a ceiling tile that was very wet and there was mildew on the wall. It was too late to change rooms (no one in office). However, we did get another room the next morning and reported the damage in the bathroom. The second room was fine. The breakfast was very good.

We have stayed in this hotel previously and thought it was great for the money. This time around however we were put in a room that used to be a smoking room. Needless to say our room didn't smell very good and no matter what we did we couldn't get rid of the smell. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast wasn't bad. The waffles were good and there was toast, cereal, and juice to go with it. I would stay here again.... as long as I could be in a room that hadn't been smoked in.
