"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.
""Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.
"Nice hotel in the theatre district"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012

Let the West Coast have Hollywood; Broadway’s lights are just as bright, and many screen actors come to the Great White Way to gain acting credibility. Area attractions include Carnegie Hall, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and the Museum of Modern Art. Resplendent St. Patrick’s Cathedral takes up a block at Fifth and 50th. Once seedy, Times Square now hosts ABC, MTV, and NASDAQ.
see all hotels in New York"great location to Brayant Park! Very nice!"
Everything was just right. The only complaint, if I were to complain about anything at all, would be the lighting in the room was pretty dim. Also...no coffee available in the morn without going out.

"Bryant Park Hotel"
This hotel was convenient to a business meeting, right across from the Library, in other words, excellent location for our particular trip. The staff is helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and we had an excellent view overlooking Bryant Park. It is important to note that each person we encountered was helpful and pleasant.
"Bryant Park Hotel"
The hotel, location and most importantly, the people working at BPH were amazing on all levels!! Nice work, we will return!
"Awesome"
I really enjoyed my stay. Not only was the hotel staff great, but the location, view, and room were great. I also enjoyed the fact there was a separate bathtub and the shower was powerful. Would stay here again.

"Bryant Park Hotel wins again!"
Had another great stay at the Bryant Park Hotel..convenient location in New York City and front desk was very helpful. Only thing negative I can say is that the concierge was nice but sent us to restaurants that were closed in the Garment District (they didn't know supposedly). Room is nice, shower amazing!. Would visit again.
"Best trip"
It was Christmas time & people were stopping to take pictures in front of this hotel's tree. Staff was great- concierge, front desk- the best! Definitely go back!
"Bryant Park Hotel - Amazing!!"
From the second the doorman opened the door for us our stay was amazing. Everyone was extremely nice and when we asked for something we got it within 5 minutes. Room was clean and had everything you needed and then some. Bed was extremely comfortable, slept so good!! Close to everything. I am going to definitely stay there next time I go and I will […] recommend it to anyone going to NYC. Read more

"Crappy bed offsets everything good"
You know how hotels are always looking to cut corners? In this case, it was the quality of the mattress. We had a suite with nice furnishings -- spartan but in keeping with the hotel design. Nice towels, bathrobes and toiletries. Decent TVs and food. But we got into bed, turned over after saying goodnight and immediately heard squeaking. Every time […] one of us moved around, the bed squeaked. That says to me that the hotel isn't keeping up with the normal replacement schedule of beds. When I stay at a hotel, the most important thing is to sleep well. I'll stay at a less convenient location in a smaller room if the mattress is top quality. Disappointing. Read more
"Great stay"
The hotel was conveniently located across from beautiful Bryant Park with Times Square just a short walk away. The concierge was very helpful and obtained reservations to a roof-top club Saturday night for our group of 10. Even though there was a lively bar in the hotel, we didn't hear a peep from our bedroom.
"Great Hotel"
This is one of the best hotels we have stayed under the 4 star category. Great staff, very friendly, and helpful. The room we stayed in was quite spacious for NY and so was the bathroom.

"Clean!"
The room at Bryant Park was the cleanest room ever! Very satisfied!
"Best in the city"
This is one of the nicest hotels in the city. Great mid-town location, Bryant Park across the street, lots of delis, pizza and food in the neighborhood. Starbucks just one block away. Great staff, super clean rooms. Very trendy but comfortable. And the best part of the room is the shower! Business travelers know what it's like to get stuck with a weak […] shower flow...best shower in the city. Stay here. Read more
"Very Small Room"
Great location but room was tiny even by Manhattan standards, The bathroom was very nice and nearly the size of the room. As a comedian once said, the room was so small when I shut the door the door knob got in bed with me. I am sure more $$$$ will get you a larger room, but this was too confined at any price.
"Bryant Park Hotel in New York-- close to office"
Great hotel, would highly recommend.
The hotel, vallet, manager, etc was absolutely perfect!! The location was convenient to everything in NY,,,,BUT most importantly the room and beds were spotless... A great stay..WE will go again
Convenient location 2 blocks from Grand Central with easy access to Broadway shows. Great service, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Have stayed here twice and will return.
"Great Hotel, No Complaints"
First of all, this is not advertised but i received complimentary valet parking because it was the weekend. probably saved at least $50.00 the hotel is very chic, clean, comfortable and within walking distance of all mid-manhattan attractions. would recommend the hotel to friends. stayed just one night to get away from the kids. it was perfect.
Modern and hipster hotel...Great location, Bryant park is a gem...times square one block away and you'd never know it
"Excellent stay"
Nicely sized NYC room with great bathroom. Room is modern with sitting area; clean and quiet. Throw in free valet parking and a location at Bryant Park and a price that is reasionable and you have a keeper. Very friendly staff and lovely club in cellar.
"Bryant Park Excellence"
This is the third time in this hotel and ech time has been fabulous. The rooms are spacious, clean and quite and the staff is first class. I would not stay anywhere else in NYC
"Best of both worlds"
The Bryant Park Hotel is both close to the action, and a quiet oasis away from the crazyiness of Times Square. I've stayed at a few places right in the middle of it and far prefer the Bryant Park. The room was huge (not just by NYC standards) the bath was, to be cliche, spa-like, and even with an air-shaft view, our stay very pleasant. No elevator noise, […] even though we were close by, no annoying neighbors, no mishaps with the mini-bar. The only complaint I can come up with was that the Cellar Bar was too hip for me, but hey, it's New York, I can find someplace else to go. Read more
Excellent service combined with a great location and beautiful room. Highly recommend.

"Don't Bother"
Bryant Park Hotel had some great write ups but I was really disappointed. The internet didn't work (I had to call maintenance twice and finally they brought a modem to my room. It was still very slow and they still charged me $10 for it). Gym was fine but staring at three TVs that were all missing remotes was a drag. All the hooks in the bathroom were […] falling out of the walls / doors. The red pleather wall panels are just cheesy and the staff just seem really young and rough around the edges. Way overpriced for what it is. Read more
"depends on your needs/wants..."
Uber-hip. Ask yourself if this is really what you want in a hotel. I was in NY on business for 5 nights... THE GOOD: Staff was extremely attentive and helpful with a refreshing lack of attitude. Hotel was clean, beds were super comfortable with great pillows and linens. Nice amenities (products, robe, turndown service). More spacious than expected. THE […] BAD: I didn't really think about (1) the lack of even one piece of seating furniture in my room, and (2) the absence of a lobby in which to meet clients and colleagues. The only place to sit was a straight-backed desk chair or in bed: a shame since there was ample room for a reading-type chair (see spacious comment above). The only place to meet up with colleagues was on a hard bench in the hallway or window ledge in the reception area. Not sure I would stay there again for business. Might be a good spot for an evening on the town, or shopping weekend, but not really comfortable for longer stays. Read more

"The Bryant Park Hotel - great location"
Great location! Great restaurant at the hotel (Koi). The room was small, but most NYC hotel rooms are small. Although it was expensive, I think it was a good value for NYC. It's not a place I would consider "posh" or elegant, but the decor was sophisticated contemporary. The staff was very nice. 24 hour room service. I would recommend it and we will […] most likely stay there again. Read more
"A good stay close to everything"
with a subway stop close by, times square around the corner and mid town a walks distance, this is a good value play for the $. The cellar bar is an okay place for a bev, even though the winter crowd is somewhat poser filled.
"Bryant Park Hotel--Great Hotel, Great Location!"
For the young (and young at heart) travelers looking for a cosmopolitan New York City getaway, I would highly suggest the Bryant Park Hotel. It is (minutes from Penn Station, Times Square, Broadway, and 5th Ave) sleek, modern, fashionable and quite comfortable (by New York standards). Ask for an upper floor facing 6th Ave and enjoy the view! If you […] need suggestions for entertainment and dining, please use the helpful and knowledgeable concierge staff. Read more
"Worth it in the City"
Great hotel, location, staff. I would stay there again for sure. It was all worth it.
"Junior Suite"
Tip: If you plan on getting a junior suite, ask for one on the higher floors. Due to the narrowing structure of the building, there are fewer suites per floor... As a result, junior suites on the higher floors are actually much larger. Our room was actually two different rooms.
"Simply one of the best!"
My experience at the Bryant Park Hotel was an amazing one. I stayed in the Deluxe room. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and with a large bathroom (that's always a bonus). I will come back and stay for sure! I recommend this hotel to anyone (business or personal)!
"Wow, we were overwhelmed!"
Great location and friendly staff. We were about 3 short blocks from Times Square and walked to two shows. Bryant Park across the street is quaint and had alot going on. Great location and large rooms for New York City.
"Better than expected"
After reading the past reviews I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived at the hotel over Thanksgiving. Much to our delight, everything was fantastic. The location is great. Just a short walk to Times Square, Macys and the Empire State Building. Just had to walk half a block to watch the parade. Also we loved Bryant Park. There are some really unique […] vendors and the ice skating rink really put us in a festive mood. The entire staff at the hotel was extremely polite and very helpful. The rooms were clean and a lot larger than we thought they would be. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and will recommend it to anyone who wants a great hotel at a great price. Read more
The service was impeccable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was well appointed and our stay was lovely. We will return
"Great location but a bit noisy"
I love the location for Bryant Park. I have stayed there four times now. This stay was the best. We booked a small suite which had a view of the Park. Previously I had booked rooms for business and rooms had no view and this was so much better. Well worth the extra dollars. The Park had just opened for skating and some setup was still in progress. Location […] cannot be beat. Near library, Times Square, Grand Central. 4,5,6 subways at Grand Central allowed us access to the entire City. Room was noisy. I wish BPH would add seals to the doors which would be a huge improvement. Better windows would be good also but is understandably a larger issue. BPH does have earplugs in the bath kit or next to bed and you WILL need those. Lots of city hotels have noise issues so I think the trade offs here are well worth what the location offers. Read more
"Bryant Park Hotel NYC-Wonderful"
Nothing but good things to say about my stay. A big comfortable room for NYC & a full tub & big shower. Most memorable was the quality of staff-everyone was incredibly helpful, friendly and extremely professional-havent experienced hotel service this good in a very long time. Whatever they are doing to manage & motivate their staff seems to be working […] very well-a pleasure to stay there. Read more

"Bryant Park Hotel is a gem"
Despite reading reviews that said the beds were uncomfortable, we found them to be extremely comfortable and appreciated the soft pillows -- not like the oversized bricks most hotels provide. The shower was the best ever. Quiet room despite a lively night club off the lobby. And great location. Besides Bryant Park, there are several wonderful breakfast […] and dinner places within a block. Would definitely go back. Read more
"Great Hotel, Do Not get a couples Message!"
My wife an I have stayed at this hotel several times. Mainly because the hotel Suites are huge and the shower is equivelent to a Spa. However, the one bad experience was with the Concierge Manager (Bryan). We had booked an in house couples message for 75 min for $370. which was advertised on thier website. The Message was the worst I had ever had. the […] therapist left bruises on my back. When the message was done I was handed two slips for $280 each. I told the therapist i had booked it with concierge for $370 and I would call to speak with them. When speaking to the Concierge Bryan, He had told me that I had only booked for a 60min message and needed to pay for the extra 15min. He then told me that I was embarrising his hotel & his relationship with the message company. He also told me that it only said 60min online, which it clearly states 75min. After arguing and getting aggrivated, he told me for argument sake he would only charge me the $370, but was going to write this in my profile. Never in my life was I ever talked to like this. What ever happened to the customer is always right? Which I was in fact! After talking to the hotel desk Manager, He had appoligized for Bryan's Behavior & took $50 off my credit card. I would recommend this hotel to others, however if you run into Bryan, tell him he needs to take a Hospitality Training course & learn some manners!!! Read more
