My stay here was amazing. From the time I entered the lobby, to riding in the swanky elevators, to putting my key card in the door and taking in the room... I was completely floored. The decor is magnificent and the styling is very modern. I recommend getting a suite overlooking Bryant Park, the view is astounding and simply can not be beat. I anticipate staying here again.

Overall excellent hotel. My wife and I stayed there for our honeymoon and for the most part, we were very pleased. Location is awesome, just a couple blocks off times square, so you're close, but not right on all the people gawking around the square. Bryant park, although small, is beautiful, with some cool coffe/chocolate shops around it. The staff of the hotel were extremely courteous and helpful. The concierge was useful but not best I've ever had. The maids keep the rooms spotless and come twice a day. The styling and decor of the hotel is very modern/minimalist, so you get this euro vibe while staying there that for us, may have been a little too "hip." This leads to my only real complaint...the bed sucked. In order to keep with the whole minimalist styling the beds are on platforms which does not allow a box spring, thus leading to beds that leave something to be desired. Sheets and bedding are nice, but you may wake up with a stiff back. Otherwise the hotel is great. We stayed in a junior suit that was huge (two baths, living room and bedroom) and had about a 30% discounted rate when we booked, so we felt that we got a lot for our money. The Cellar Bar is nice and has a free happy hour for guests from 5-6. The bar continues the euro theme. Think lots of guys with slick hair wearing all black suits and lots of cologne. The bartenders are nice (even when you're there for the free happy hour). Didn't eat at the restaurant. I would probably not stay there again only due to fact that I rarely travel to New York and would like to try different hotels, but I would definitely recommend it to someone else, especially if the whole minimalist/modern style is their thing.

Trendy and clean - great view of bryant park if you can get one. Nice clean rooms but the beds are hard. More options on the in room dining menu would be nice. I initially booked a standard room - it was pretty small and the window looked at a brick wall so I chose to upgrade to a jr suite with a view. Internet service was available but the wifi didn't work in my room. Great location and walking distance to 5th ave and times square. Hotel bar is awesome and Koi restaurant was great as well.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It's very modern and different from your average hotel. Last time we received an upgrade and had a very large room with a sitting area. This time we werent so fortunate. The regular superior room was still very nice. The bathrooms have beautiful tile and the shower is awesome. The staff is always very very accomodating, friendly and remembers your name. We go to the city every year for our anniversary and already have next year planned to stay here again.

The hotel is clean, and has an ultra modern feel. This includes having virtually no lobby and very stark and minimal furnishings. Also I did not have any hot water; I am not sure if that was suppossed to be a feature or a problem. No matter the hotel is in a great location, is not too expensive, is clean, and they threw in parking for a day as I apparently arrived on a promotional day. All in all it is a great place to stay as long as you do not intend to entertain business clients, or stay in the room too long.

This hotel worked perfectly for my husband and I, we stayed 2 nights and were welcomed by the staff warmly. We had an issue at first with a smoking room but they quickly moved us to a non-smoking room with no fuss. The room was great, the bathroom very large and modern, our only complaint was the a/c did not seem to work, we had it up the way and it was still pretty warm. Overall all though our stay was great, excellent location, and friendly staff, would recommend.

The extras that came with the room were most appreciated..i.e.drinks in the club on Friday nights, and free parking on week-ends. I hope this continues. It was nice getting turndown service without having to request it. The room had everything needed to make our stay comfortable, including robes. Certainly a nice place to call home while in NY.

We were disappointed with the room we had because it was smoking and we had requested non-smoking. We arrived at hotel at 9:30am, were told we could not check in until after 3pm so we left our luggage with bell-hop and went sight seeing until 5pm. By 5pm, every one else that had booked a suite had arrived and checked in. Since we were last one to get checked in we ended up with the smoking room even though I had specified non-smoking in reservation and we had actually arrived before everyone else. We even had to sign no smoking policy. Otherwise, the hotel has very comtemporary sleek furnishings, very comfortable and suite is spacious for NYC. Just be sure to check in right at 3pm to get the room you requested.

I booked this hotel to celebrate my wedding anniversary. It was wonderful! The staff was fantastic and the room was great (bed was hard so it left our backs a bit stiff in the morning). I requested a room with hardwood flooring (the deluxe rooms with a limited view come with rug flooring only - a detail I wasn't aware of). I was upgraded to a room with hardwood and a view of Bryant Park. Since it was our anniversary, we also received a free bottle of prosecco. I thought I would feel a bit out of place since it's such a hip and fashion trendy location, but this was not the case at all. The hotel is in a perfect location and access to the train is on the same block. Again, I can't speak enough about the friendly service. Even as we got in our car to drive home, the gentlemen working the outside the hotel opened my door to let me in and took my empty coffee cups from my car to dispose of! I would stay at the Bryant Park hotel again in a heartbeat.

We only stayed for one night but I will definitely stay again. In terms of square-footage the room is on the small side but it is mid-town manhattan and you can't beat the location. Also, the high ceilings give the room the feeling that it is much larger. The bed was quite comfortable and the size of the bathtub was definitely an added bonus that I wasn't expecting. Depending on your preference, you'll have to pay extra for a room with a view, ours was just an office building. Definitely a great hotel. It has a very contemporary club feel to it, with techno music playing in the lobby and dim lighting in the entry way but it fits with the vibe of the hotel. We didn't get to try the restaurant downstairs but that looks like it would be worth it. The club downstairs is also a hot spot, so the hotel has the amenities to fit anyones taste; be it all night dancing or a quiet dinner. Just make sure you have your room key with you when returning to the hotel on a saturday night ... The front desk was more than helpful...I will definitely be returning.

It was a REALLY great hotel. Our room was perfect except for a few things. The bed was AWFUL and there were a few places on the floor where the wood stuck up slightly and I ended up stubbing my toe. Other than that the room was GREAT! As for the staff, they were VERY nice and helpful in making my stay as best as it could be. Before I came there, I called them a few times asking questions about the parking lot costs and how long they hold our insidental fee for. They gave me the wrong info both times I called!!! We got stuck with a HUGE parking fee because the hotel said that it wouldnt cost extra to park our SUV versus a car and they wouldnt charge us for being a few mins late picking up our SUV!!!!! The front desk told me that they would release the money they hold within 24hrs. and then 2 days later it was still being held. I was told the manditory time frame for a hold is 72 hrs. when I called to ask why it was not back into my account. Two different days I called about this information BEFORE I even left to check into the hotel and talked to two different people and got wrong answers. The staff need to get the right information before they say anything!
