this was a nice hotel, quiet easy to get to with restaurants easy to find and get to. our breakfast was very nice and a great way to start our day. the heater/ac was a little loud but kept the room comfy parking was easy and the only thing really missing for us was a fridge in the room. we had a nice stay and slept very well and we were right by the […] restaurant and elevator. you can walk over to panera or drive to several other options close by and super easy to get back and forth from the expo center-we would stay here again. Excellent as usual. One suggestion, we stayed in the conference center building, and it would be helpful to have a luggage cart in the front hall for hauling luggage to room. Otherwise, a delightful stay as usual! :-)

The reception at the front desk was weak. The room wasn't what we ordered or paid for, but it was so far from the front desk (the hotel is actually 2 buildings) and we got in after a long travel day I didn't hike back. As a casual traveller to the area my rating is based on needs being met and not compared to a "resort" style stay. It's close to Madison, the parking is free, the breakfast is included, there is another restaurant and pool on site. The bedding was fine and the decor is average. We have stayed at this hotel before, but we will never stay at this hotel again. We arrived late at night. The desk clerk told us he was giving us a very nice room. When we got to the room, there was no soap in the bathroom. When asked, the desk clerk admitted that the hotel was out of soap. "I'll put some outside your door in the morning," he told […] us. When I told him that wasn't good enough, he said that he was sorry. I had to get back in my car and drive to a convenience store and buy some soap for my room. (I also bought some extra bars and left them with the desk clerk to hand out to any other late-arriving guests.) In the morning, the daytime desk clerk offered me a refund, but when she learned that we had booked our room on hotels.com, she said that she couldn't do a refund after all. Read more

We were very pleased with our 1 night stay. Noticed a bike path directly behind our hotel and look forward to taking advantage of it next time we stay at your hotel. Walked over to the brew pub across the street for a nightcap. Other restaurants close by. Also, enjoyed our hardy continental breakfast the next morning. Thank you!

I thought we were going to have a suite, but learned on arrival that we were reserved for a standard room. No other suites were available. Next to shopping area. About 1.5 miles from major highway. Clean but average accommodations.
