The refrigerator did not seem to work and twice in a few days time I had to get a new key card because the issued one stopped working but the place was clean and comfortable and that is what is important.

There were a couple of problems in the hotel. The toilet first of all was annoying because everytime i would use it i had to mess with it to stop making noise. Second the tv some to have been messed up with the volume couldn't adjust to go louder or lower.

My partner and I was press for time in relocating from Chicago to Los Angeles, and we needed a place stay when we arrive to Los Angeles. Before I left Chicago I searched onlined for hotels to stay in in case we didn't find apartments before we got here. Every 3-5 star was too pricey and unappealing. Finally I ran across Americas Best Value Inn at 4501 […] W Imperial Hwy. Booked it online with hotel.com. It may not have a 5 star rating but it should be. Checking in was as easy as our flight here smooth no delays or waiting, the only thing was waiting was our room. The Staff is/was wonderful, and everything we need is within walking distance since we don't own a car. I give this hotel 5 stars. Forget the other reviews before mines for anyone relocating and on a tight budget this is the ideal place. One Camper. Read more

My initial impression of this hotel was strange. The hotel is set-up oddly, you have to be buzzed in the lobby, and the employee is behind glass. Not exactly a feeling of safety. The lady at the front desk seemed annoyed by the fact that she had to check me in. The exterior of the rooms looked as if they had recently been enclosed, and the rooms themselves […] were clean, but dated. At night, it was very noisey! A lot of noise from the hall and the street so don't plan on a good nights rest. The hotel was close to a green line transit station, but you passed some characters along the way. As a single female, I did not feel safe walking the short distance from the hotel to the transit station. The hotel is less than 5 miles from LAX, but taxi is your only option to get to the airport in a timely manner. I wouldn't stay in this hotel again given its location and price. Read more

Staff was very friendly and professional. Airport shuttle driver related he waited on me for 25 and then left me at the airport. I have traveled in and out of Lax, dozens of times. This hotel offered continental breakfast; I had to ask about the time. We had to take the stairs to the third floor because we were not told that there was an elevator and no sign was posted. The door to the breakfast area needs to be opened by a staff member and the staff member the day we were checking out decided to take a break while people waited […] outside the door, most people left. The deluxe continental breakfast consisted of packaged sweet rolls and terrible watered down coffee. Very disappointing! The rooms were suitable for tweakers and meth heads, not for the general public. I do not recommend this hotel!

The walls are paper thin. I heard my neighbor talk/scream to his girlfriend for 2 hours in the middle of the night. I felt like I was watching TV with my other neighbor. The shower head was rusty. I could hear street traffic like my bed was on the sidewalk. There was no breakfast, not even coffee. Terrible hotel.
