    Our hotel room came with a balcony. Its a great spot to book the bars, restaurants and shopping is all walking distance. The restaurant associated with... hotel looks classy.     Short stay for a quick trip. Older hotel with bare necessities. Shower barely worked and repairs appeared to be half hazzardly done but it served its purpose.

    I was very happy with our stay at this hotel. My husband is 80 and usually has trouble sleeping due to unfamiliar beds, noise, etc. No problems at all sleeping at this hotel. We had a minor toilet issue and maintenance had gone home so they gave us another room immediately. My friend stayed in another room(she is a light sleeper also), slept great. […] Staff was very nice and accommodating. Elevator to second floor was available. We picked it as we had our dog with us, but we would stay here again even if we don't bring our pet. Close to great restaurants and shopping. Very clean. Read more

The hotel itself is ok...we had a room with no balcony as advertized that did not seem as nice as the rest of the rooms, the pictures on the website did not look like the room we had. The shower was not nice and the bathroom was tiny. It was definitely just a place to come sleep with no expectations of […] "relaxation” whatsoever. The staff was super nice and helpful especially the lady at the reception desk and the gentleman that helps with your bags, we loved them and for their exceptional service we may return. Having breakfast at the El Rey restaurant was extraordinary the food was impeccable with amazing service! I will definitely go back there and I will mention that to everybody I know. Bad note – The man at the front desk whose attitude made me not want to return to the hotel. He was so rude when inquiring on how to go about getting a better room next time and was condescending to my senior citizen mother when asking about her receipt for the room stay. Completely lacking in friendly disposition and delivery. I manage international conventions and have been in the industry for over 20 years and have never heard somebody speak this way to a customer, no matter what the situation (and there was none) there is always an appropriate way to answer a question, and it has to do with your tone and disposition, very disappointed in this man.     Loved the bonus of the restaurant credit. They gave us a voucher that could be applied to any meal at the restaurant. The food was awesome. I loved that the hotel was eco friendly and did not have the normal plastic comtainers of soaps. They had a nice dispenser on the wall filled with soaps. The staff was friendly and accomodating. The other fun feature […] of our room was the secret balcony. You walked into the room and it had a double mirrored closet that you slid open to find a stained glass door. When you opened the stained glass there was a balcony behind it. Just fun. The only negative I would say is the parking that is typical in Mexico. If you have a large vehicle as we did (4 door 4X4 pickup) getting in and out was challenging because you had to back out of the parking area. There is space for about 40-50 cars but there is no room to turn around. Other than that I totally would stay here again. Read more

    The "Real" name of the motel is "El Rey Sol" and was difficult to find. Even the locals did not know where the America's Value Inn was. The personnel service was personable and good.     this hotel is nice,clean very good located,close to everything, the people working there is very nice, my only concern is when you make a reservation with one credit card and decide to pay with a different one the charge in both cards and you have to dispute the charges, other than that is a very good hotel.
