Room was comfortable and clean. Expected a little more, ie. iron and ironing board in room. I asked at the desk and they were gladly provided. I think the breakfast was overstated in the ads.

The room did not look that bad but it could use some updating. The lamp over the desk did not work so I tried changing the light bulbs from another light they were very dusty also the shades. The beds were very hard also. Other than that it was o.k.

Hotel room had a strong smell of urine, sheets barely covered the top of the stained bare mattress. We got food poisoning from the sausage gravy breakfast served in a crock pot in the lobby. Carpet in room was stained, blanket had burn holes in a nonsmoking room. Terrible experience.

The room was very nice, had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. The free breakfast was very good . We had 2 minor problems which we reported on check out. The remote did not work for the TV and the showerhead had come loose so the water was squirting out over the shower door. Fortunatley the sink and mirror are not in the same room […] as the shower and toliet. The price was very very reasonable. We have spent $30.00 more at other hotels for very awful rooms and smelly musty oders in the hotel and room. Read more

Non-smoking rooms, but the entire hotel wreaks of smoke. No elevator -- steps were difficult for my friend. Front desk personnel uninformed about any details of Madison event (festival) such as shuttle. Not friendly or welcoming at all. Location good and room clean and everything worked - but that's it.

Asked to upgrade, was told we could do that, but seemed reluctant to do so, even tho we agreed to the higher fee. Hot tub had not been cleaned thoroughly, had a coffee pot in room, but no regular coffee.

This hotel served the purpose of a place to sleep for one night during a car club drive outing. It fit into the itinerary; reasonable cost. Clean with basics; nothing fancy. Good, friendly, helpful staff. Continental breakfast was very basic.

The room was disgusting- with shoes on my feet were sticking to the carpeting and the be had not bee replaced in what felt like 20 years. The only reason I stayed there one night of […] my three night reservation was because I hade arrived at 10:30pm and had no other options. we visit Madison twice a year. We have stayed at the Country Hearth Inn on several occassions.The staff are always cheerful & friendly. Rooms always clean & quiet. Breakfast buffet available, not always enough seating. Overall nice quiet place to stay.

Reserved a non smoking room but got a smoking room. Hotel outdated and room was dingy and smelled awful. We needed a cheap place to stay for a night close to downtown Madison, so it fit the bill in that regard, but probably would not stay there again.

Madison is a gem of a town. The hotel was adequate and reasonably priced. Neither the remote nor blow dryer worked and the towel rack fell, but the breakfast was sufficient. LOVED the waffles!

I liked that they are eco-friendly-- there was a recycling bin in my room and the usual clutter of shampoo, conditioner, and lotion was replaced with on-the-wall dispensers. This hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good and with plenty of choices. It has easy access from the highway. There is a nearby strip mall with grocery, clothing, and a Walmart. My only issue was that their WIFI signal is very weak (which might be a function of a location of a room to the router).
