"U-Dist Luxury"
I've stayed here multiple times over the past few years, and keep coming back. The Deca provides a nice bit of luxury to the U-Dist. and being right on the Ave, it is close to a wide variety of restaurants and places to step out for a minute.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect place to stay for Thanksgiving holiday!"
We had a room with an awsesome view and comfortable window seat with a reclining couch! This hotel is unique in how it decorated in a art deca style. The neighborhood is near the university with lots of places to walk to Oh, the lobby has a fireplace-a great place to sip on a coffee and chat!.We enjoyed a perfect holiday weekend visiting family. This […] is the best place to stay in all of Seattle! It is difficult to give an overall rating because the walls are so thin that we had 2 difficult nights relative to getting a good night's sleep. Neighbors came in late at night and were so noisy well past midnight that we couldn't get to sleep.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Art deco decadence"
The Deca has beautifully decorated lobby floor with furniture that is bold and comfortable. The staff was unbelievably friendly but not fake. The bar food was great, the views are lovely. We were able to walk to many fun places, including the Burke museum, several theaters, the gargoyle store, lots of ethnic food places and shopping. There is even a […] church right across the street. We have spent more money on a hotel but have never felt more relaxed and at home any place we've stayed. I highly recommend this beautifully restored hotel! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Updated hotel; not the greatest neighborhood. The room was comfortable; however, I think the bathroom could have been cleaner...the tub needed a good scrubbing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable and Cozy"
The walls are a little thin, but when guests starting partying above us at 2:30AM, one call to the front desk took care of it right away. All the staff was very helpful. I would stay there again. Oh -- and I thought the food from the bar/ lounge was better than you usually get in a hotel restaurant.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for the University/Hospital business"
Very convenient if you are on business at the University of Washington or need to stay close to the hospital.Genuine Expedia guest review
"do not sleep here."
the vaunted down comforters looked and felt like they were passed down from 1984. there was mold/stain on the shower grout; the toilet paper holder was on wall behind toilet about 8 inches from the floor, plumbers glue was smeared on tile behind sink (which didn't meet the wall#. the coffee maker was so funky it looked like a dollar store special and […] had to be placed on the floor to work#short cord and only plug in). the power outage at 10pm for half the room put a stop to my movie--but-- oh joy--the power came on again and they deducted the cost of my movie....i put the fire dept on speed dial at that point. the key card refused to work the wheezing, struggling elevators. the door was so ill fitting that the hall light was clearly visible around its edge--providing an interesting nite lite. the lobby was nicely done---- Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel"
Glad I took a chance and booked this hotel - very clean, comfortable, and great staff. Nice lounge if you want to stay in and have a few drinks or dinner. Nice fireplace to relax by. Just wish the bed was a little more comfortable - other than that I give it an A+ rating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A Great Location for UW Access"
The hotel met my expectations. The key reason I chose it was the proximity to UW and my son's fraternity. It was situated perfectly for access to my son and access to UW. It is also a very short walk from great ethnic restaurants. It is in a vibrant area. For the most part I walked everywhere from the hotel. The hotel staff were adequate, but didn't […] go out of their way to be helpful. The room I stayed in was very small, but clean and adequate for my purposes. When I stay somewhere it it helps my overall experience if I feel like the staff truly tries to make my expereince unique. I didn't get any of that. Just run of the mill staff doing their job. Still it served my purposes. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"I would stay here again"
The staff was friendly, room size and amenities were very comfortable. Conveniently located. Everything was very clean. My trip was extended and I ended up staying here for 2 weeks and I was very comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel close to the UW"
It was fun to walk around the U district. There were a lot of sirens though. Also for some reason, this hotel is very loud. I think it's because the rooms are in a tight circle. You can hear everybody coming and going all day and night. Nice hotel and very convenient. The front desk was pretty busy. The Tullys is good. The bed was very comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel if you have to be in the Univ. District"
I would have picked a newer Best Western or HIE if I didn't need to be in the Univ. district for business, and didn't have a car. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small, but clean, and the bed was comfortable. I wish it had a hot tub and a free breakfast. The restaurant was poor. Dinner was very noisy, my salmon was overcooked. Breakfast […] was poor, overcooked potatoes and bacon. Not having transportation I was stuck with the restaurant. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Too good to be true"
The hotel seems pretty nice from the outside, but once you get into your room you start noticing all the little things that are out of sorts. For example a lot of the windows had broken seals which allowed condensation to seep in and fog the windows up from the inside. So much so that you couldn't see out of some of the windows. The second problem we […] encountered was the heater/ ac unit didn't work properly. Late at night the room got up to 74, far too warm for me to sleep, I tried turning on the ac to cool it down a bit and even on the highest setting the room never dropped below 72. The other thing I noticed was considerable water damage in the ceiling. Last but not least, the next morning we woke up to find a bill slipped under our door for parking. They failed to inform us that if you choose to use their parking you will be charged $15 + tax a night to park your car. It would have been nice to know this when we were checking in or when we booked the room. I would have stayed somewhere else where parking is free. I have never been charged for parking at a hotel. What offend me most was the failure to notify us when we checked in. At the very least I would have parked two streets over where parking was $6 for the night. $16 a night for parking at a hotel that I paid over $140 a night is outrageous. They were also cheap enough not to provide the complimentary toiletries that are standard at other hotels. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great value for money - great charm!"
A beautiful restored hotel with old world charm and wonderful decor. High above the noise of the city and the U-District (so good views and quiet) but close to everything. Everything ran smoothly and we were very pleased with our stay.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to UW and all bust stops!"
The remodeled building is really cool and the rooms have a spacious setup. It is neat how the rooms are centered off a central elevator. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, and will shuttle you to your destination if needed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"super comfortable beds"
Very very comfortable beds the decor was comfortable and modern the rooms were definitely small. service was friendly and helpful and when we asked for an extra rollaway bed we were given a double queen room for no extra cost. tully's coffee downstairs has excellent coffee but the pastries were stale and bland. the hotel is in the university district […] which unfortunately means a lot of grunge buildings and homeless people the one good thing about being in this area is that you can get a lot of cheap good eats. highly recommend pam's kitchen carribean food (as seen on diner's drive-ins, and dives). Hotel was a close to my relatives....nice hotel unfortunately in a very gritty neighborhood. Staff was professional, rooms were clean, self park for 15/day was great. My room was quiet, large, everything was in good working order. very easy to get on an off major highway...only 25 min to airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was lovely, except the coffee maker. The coffee maker was just a hot water heater, disappointing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointed"
We usually Stay at the Silver Cloud Stadium but decided to try something else for our anniversary trip. We were very disappointed in this hotel. It seems like it was a University of Washington dorm converted to a hotel. The bathroom is tiny and has no fan to clear out the steam after a shower. There was visible mold above the shower that was cleaned […] up but still spotty. They had a soap and shampoo dispenser poorly placed so you had to stand sideways in the shower. The dispenser was mounted to the wall right next to your shoulders instead of being opposite the shower head on the opposite wall where it would not interfere with your shoulders. The windows in the tiny room would not open so there was no escaping the shower steam anywhere in the room. The t.v. is poorly placed right next to the bed so you have to lay sideways on the bed to watch t.v. I could not find an ice machine to speak of. Our view outside was of the construction going on across the parking lot. We will not stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfect place for visiting our UW daughter."
We reserved a 'city view' room #on a lower floor for a lower rate# -- we got there on the late side of evening and were given a room on the 12th floor with a great view of the UW and Lake Washington. The room itself was immaculate, with nice features. The only drawback, and I'm not sure if this was just our room or the entire property, was that the […] baby next door sounded like s/he was in our room with us. Other sounds #for example the elevator across from our room# didn't seem to carry, but the adjacent room noise definitely did. I finally called and asked if another room might be possible, but the entire property was filled. The front desk person was very helpful and kind and offered to bring up earplugs since they didn't have another room. All in all, it was a very comfortable stay in a friendly and service-minded environment. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great Family Experience near UW"
We were upgraded to a delux room with two queen size beds and enough space for our luggage. Parking was reasonable at $15.00 a night. The hotel is located near UW and near the UW bookstore. Safeway is just down the street to get any food items for your stay. Free wifi was a great plus. Overall an excellent hotel stay and would surely book again in the […] future. We even requested a late check out without any hesitation from the front desk worker. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Way overpriced - not justified."
The staff was great, the restaurant had good food at fabulous prices during two happy hour periods, but... lots of missing amenities, e.g., no lotion in the bathroom, no bath mat/rug (!) in the bathroom, just one bath towel (!) - which I used to dry my hair then jumped back in bed to dry off, no tea... Nothing was terrible, just not what I'd expect […] at the rate I paid. Really, I was quite disappointed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The Seattle Noble House experience."
The details add to the experience. One walks into the room, locks the door and sees that the door is damaged. The bed sheet does not cover the foot end of the mattress. Two coffee creamer packets are set out to match the four coffee packets. There is long blond hair on the shower curtain. Having said this, the room is spacious with lovely decor and […] I will continue to highly recommend The Noble House to friends. Thank you. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Travel to the great Northwest"
My husband and I appreciated the charm of the old hotel. It had a lot of character that is often lost in newer hotels. It was very close to restaurants and shops. Some areas nearby were a bit seedy though a few blocks away it would get nicer. There are quite a few homeless people on one of the main streets.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Regular customer"
Have stayed at this hotel a number of times because of the quality of the rooms and the convenience of the location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Better meals, including breakfast, can be found nearby. Only drawback is the free WiFi which requires a daily log-on. Since the WiFi is free the hotel should dispense with this bureaucratic procedure which […] only wastes time. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
