Americinn Rogers/Albertville - Rogers

Due to the weather we decided to stay in the Twin Cities one more night. The Americinn was nearby and the fact that their pool was open was a plus. The beds were comfortable, the pool and hot tub were fantastic. A free breakfast in the morning really helped us get going. I would stay here again in the future.

We arrived later and checked out early but during that time found the hotel to be ok at best. Thin walls made it for a difficult sleep with a sports team running the halls and young ones crying. Being gluten free, there were two things I could eat for breakfast- hard boiled eggs and yogurt. The yogurt was fine. The eggs were very hard and rubbery- and tasted absolutely awful. I think they were extremely old. The coffee tasted old, too.

Disappointed they still allow smoking in rooms. Our room was fine, but all other common areas smelled of stale smoke. Few employees seem to want to be there. :(

The room was very quiet and it was nice to see just trees outside the window rather than 'city life'. The people at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was great, lots of choices and well stocked. However, the towels were awful, very scratchy and frayed, no worries about people walking off with them! Hotel service was good. Had not problem checking in or out. Breakfast was nice each days was something different. Room were well kept and up to date. The pool was nice and clean. We were very pleased with our stay. Our room was comfortable. We had trouble checking as the hotel did not receive our reservation even though I had a copy of our confirmation number with me. Eventually we were given a room. Only complaint about the property was that the pool was cold. I would recommend calling ahead to make sure room is booked!

We stayed at the Americinn of Rogers in a non-smoking, 2 queen beds on our way to Fargo. It states that the hotel is pet friendly and welcome so upon check-in, we informed the front desk that we had the little house dog with us. She was a bit upset because we hadn't indicated that on our reservation form as they had special rooms for them (which were […] smoking rooms). We had to sign a form stating that if there was any damage or clean-up necessary, they could charge $100 for it. Also, the dog was not to be left in the room alone at any time. We would not have accepted a non-smoking room as the smoke smell bothers my wife a great deal. Upon walking into our room, it was very warm and so we looked for the heater and then realized it was on the wall. There the thermostat was all the way down to 60 degrees. There really wasn't much else we could do. We went to a Mexican restaurant about 3-4 blocks from the hotel and got in just before they were going to be closing the doors, but they welcomed us in and said it was no problem. If you like mexican, you have to go here. Portions are good size and the food was wonderful!!!! When we returned to the hotel, our room was still very warm but it was late and we all just wanted to get to bed. All three of us ended up sleeping on top of the covers the whole night. For morning showers, the bath towels were very scratchy, thin and not very comfortable to use. The room was ok, but not a typical Americinn style/decor as it looked like it had been a different property before and had recently just added the Americinn brand. Morning front desk clerk was very pleasant and appeared receptive and reactive to my expressed concern of the very warm room. Pet fee was $15 also. As most Americinn's do have the morning breakfast, this one was outstanding....better yet, a feast. This was a "great" central location to shopping - close enough to Eden Prairie to Albertville and back again. The Continental Breakfast was awesome and outside restaurants were close!! Check-out was just turning in the cards - very easy.

Went to the U2 concert in downtown Minneapolis and stayed here. It was nice to stay away from downtown and it shaved an hour off our trip home the next day. The hotel was good and the staff was very friendly. Only negative was the breakfast room was crowded when we went to eat.. Otherwise, great stay.

The Americinn Hotel in Rogers/Albertville was a relaxing, peaceful stay. Service was pleasant and the breakfast was excellent. You'll love that the pool doesn't have an overwhelming chlorine smell. It's a quaint design that I would return to again.

This is no 4-star hotel, of course, but is a nice place to stay for the money. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was adequate. The room also had free wireless internet. I recommend this for someone looking for a clean/comfortable place to stay on a budget.

This AmericInn was OK, The only problem we had was an 8 a.m. wake up call with the vacuum outside our door. Also, there were bits of paper left on the bed and floor. The breakfast was good and the front desk was very friendly. Clean pool area.

This hotel was clean and the service was good. It was nothing fancy but a great place to stay to go shopping at Albertville. I stayed with a girlfriend and it was a great price. Less than a 10 minute drive to the outlet mall.
