The surroundings were beautiful. It was very peaceful there. The rooms need updating, although they seemed clean. The kids loved the sheep and goats. With a few improvements to the rooms and to the breakfast offered, it'd be the perfect place because the grounds are so beautiful.

Wonderful relaxing stay at the lazy j. The owners were friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely. One problem only, the mattress needs replacing one bed was fine but the other had springs poking me all night.everything else was perfect. I would most definetly stay at the lazy again and rec to friends.

We got there after coming out of the park (tired and pleased) and found it easily. Service at the office was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable enough. A couple of critiques got in the room, but it s the country side so I guess that's inevitable :)

We were a family of three and had a cottage to ourselves, with one large bedroom and a separate eat-in kitchen. The setting is beautiful. The park is just up the road. The management couldn't be nicer. The continental breakfast, as remarked by others, is extremely basic, but that didn't bother us. The only downside to staying here two nights is that […] it's 90 minutes to 2 hours at least to drive into the Sequoia-Kings Canyon parks to see the more interesting sights. Nice facility, quiet and I would say it had that "Mom and Pop" atmosphere which I found appealing. Only "negative' I would mention is the breakfast serviced is rather spartan and isn't available until 9 a.m. although you could probably pick up items the night before. I would stay there again.

Stayed in a cottage. Hotel backs up to river with beautiful views of the mountains. Owner keeps goats and sheep on property which kept the kids happy. well maintained and relaxed. Overall an excellent stay.

We stayed at the Lazy J Motel for two nights in June and the weather was sunny and hot. The bungalows are spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The grounds are lovely and the pool is very welcome at the end of a warm day. Breakfast is provided but there is no dining room so you have to eat it in your room or on your verandah - weather permitting. […] This could be improved. Wi-fi is available and free. We spent a night here on our way out of Sequoia and it was an ideal stopping point before a long journey the next day. Lovely rural location and the room had all the facilities we needed. Received a nice welcome from the girl on reception. Would stay here again.

Dejligt sted med svømmepøl. Husk at tage morgenmad i receptionen om aftenen, de åbner først kl. 8.00 næste morgen. Microovn på værelserne til f.eks. den havregrød man kan hente, og køleskab til de medbragte våde varer. Der kan hentes Pizza i nærheden og der er også en gourmet restaurant. Prøv også We Tree for morgenmad.
