This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Wow! What an amazing time we had staying at the Royal Solaris!! We spent our 19th anniversary at this all inclusive resort for 4 days and never even had the slightest urge to go into town or leave the hotel. Friendly staff checked us in. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and there was no waiting. The Time Share lady who offered us a "quick tour" of the hotel but did not get pushy or upset when we told we just wanted to get to our room and then hit the beach. She asked that we come see her, but we never did and we never got bothered with Time Share talk the rest of the time. The multiple pools looked like lots of fun, but hey...we have a pool at home so we spent every waking minute at the beautiful beaches. The "vendors" walking up and down the beach were not pushy at all and after each one made their 1st pass/effort, they didn't bother us the rest of the day. Benjamin and Kike (pronounced kee-kay), were our beach waiters over the weekend and both of them were absolutely tremendous!! We could not have asked for a better experience. The room was clean, it had a comfortable bed, and plenty of water pressure for our showers. Oh...and pay the little extra to get the beach view room...spectacular views of the sunrise and gorgeous blue waters!!

I loved the hotel and the service is wonderful, however I was really disappointed in the beach. We had to travel to another Palace resort to swim in the ocean and take pictures. But that is my only complaint.

"Amazing service and food!"
We had an incredible birthday trip thanks to the amazing staff who arranged lots of surprises. Decadent breakfasts, dinners, and desserts; beautiful views and facilities. The private yacht transfer is the best. Can't wait to return!
"small luxury hotel"
Lots of luxury in this 35 room hotel. Great food and excellent service. Very romantic spot. Don't forget to take advantage of the hotel's private yacht which provides transportation to and from the dock in Cancun.
"exquisite"

"Villa Rolandi-a beautiful place for gourmet food"
We felt pampered every moment at this beautiful spot. The meals were over the top. The staff is attentive without being overbearing. It has a lovely beach and several pools for tanning and relaxing.

Wonderful hotel. Staff was extremely attentive and polite. Would certainly stay here again. I can't say enough good things about our stay.
"Villa Rolandi at Isla Mujeres - a tropical paradis"
This was the most amazing place we have ever stayed, the warm welcome, friendly staff, stunning private beach, comfortable deluxe room with amazing view of the sunsets from the balcony. The food and drinks were superb as was the service. One of the highlights was a private candlelit dinner on the beach for two, a must do if you get the chance. Also, […] get Enrique to take you out at 8am one morning to one of the most amazing snorkelling sights you will see in the world, turtles, rays, octopus, baracuda and thousands of beautiful fish, like your own personal aquarium. We hope we can come back some day. Read more
Fantastic! Best French toast ever served at breakfast. Lovely staff & the island is great. X
"Villa Rolandi"
In short: Nice straff, but slow service. Beautiful pool, but small and not so pretty beach. The food at the restaurant is very boring, and expensive. I recomend you go downtown to eat. If they pick you up in Cancun, the boatride is amazing. Oh, and I have to mention the VERY creepy mirrors on the left side of the beds. They are dark, and remind you […] of those you see in movies with hidden cameras behind them. I actually went down to the reception and asked for a room without the mirror, and a spanish cupple started laughing, saying they had asked for the same thing. PS: All rooms have the same mirrors. "Relaxing hotel and superb staff"
Hi! We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights. We had the most relaxing and pleasant week ever. The rooms are in good condition, the pool is nice with a wonderful view and the beach is private and in perfect distance from the rooms. The resturant provides delicious food. The staff was very helpful and serviceminded. We enjoyed our vacation and recomend the […] hotel for everyone looking for a peaceful luxury hotel. Read more
"Villa Rolandi"
Pragtfuldt hotel i rolige omgivelser. 200 meter til delfin show. Read more
"Raffined luxery"
Great hotel! Big and comfortable standard room with steam shower and jacuzzi outside. A bit datet but in good condition. Beds could be a bit longer though, a bit short for my 184cm. Very nice couples place, not the place to go for partying. Food was great, except one crab dish for dinner that tasted dodgy. You need to take a taxi (170 pesos) or rent […] a golf cart (50$ a day) if you want to go downtown. A beachclub called zama close by that looked cool, but we didnt try it out. Also dolphinarium and turtle farm close by. We rented bikes and cycled around the island, can be recommended. Hotel has yatch that brings you to/from cancun - very good. Read more
