"Much better than expected!"
I have never been to a Microtel before, but I really enjoyed my stay as I was visiting my fiance and fam about 5 minutes away. I stayed from Oct 18-21. Mike at the front desk was very nice! He greeted me as I walked in, quickly pulled up my reservation and gave me my keys. I was in my room within 5 minutes of arriving at the hotel. I checked out the […] room and was a little worried because of the other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised - flat screen TV, microwave & mini fridge were present though I had been told that it was not going to be available since I had a standard room. This was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, but it was nice and cozy for my fiancé and me to cuddle up and watch TV. My only complaint was that the carpet had lots of stains, but I never walk barefoot in hotels anyways and always wear shower shoes in the bathroom. The breakfast wasn't much of a breakfast but there are so many options nearby. There's an O'Charley's right next door (Be sure to download coupons from their website and get free pie slices on Wednesdays)! Waffle House, Subway, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Arby’s are within walking distance or very short drive (<0.2 miles to be exact). A nail salon, boutique and BP & Shell gas stations are nearby and Publix is within 3 traffic lights all less than 0.5 mile from the hotel. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again if I had to do so in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Carpet moldy stained sticky. Room smelled of old wet moldy clothes and cigarettes. Breakfast was a joke. Old one table to sit and eat. Staff smoked while workingGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good place, good price"
Nice enough, safe, and pretty clean. Good for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
Easy access to interstate to downtown, clean. Would stay here againGenuine Expedia guest review
Room lighting was uncomfortable. No lamps and a lot of bright fluorescents. Outlets were hard to find and in this day and age there should be more and they should be more conveniently located.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"comfortable, economical, close to Nashville sights"
The queen suite was perfect for me and my husband. It was clean and comfortable plus the price was reasonable. The shower is "water saving" and difficult to operate-so call the front desk if you have a problem. A nice place to stay for the weekend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Business Spot for Few Days"
Great spot for business travelers looking for something simple. Location wise, it was very close to most of my meetings and a few restaurants, but also just 15 minutes away from downtown Nashville. The receptionist and workers were very friendly. The room was clean and quiet and had Free wifi. Getting an iron and ironing board were simple. Breakfast […] was more than sufficient. For the price we paid, and the experience we got - no complaints. Would stay here again for sure. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Pros - Rooms were clean, staff was very courteous and helpful. Con - Continental Breakfast had very few things to choose from. Donuts wasn't one.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to Nashville but much cheaper"
We had a great visit. This is a friendly town. Walked next door to a neighborhood pizza spot, meet friendly people and had a good time. Hotel was nice and clean. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed- Sofa, refrigerator and microwave. Will be booking again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was adequate for our needs. We needed a place to stay to attend a funeral. It was inexpensive and close to the event. Hotel was what would be expected in that price range. Served our needs but would not recommend or use for a vacation.Genuine Expedia guest review
The rooms is small, but clean. The breakfast was continental, average. A good choice if you need a budget hotel and are just passing through. The pizza place next door was fun.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good bargain for 3 day trip to Nashville"
We are budget minded travelers looking for a good deal and we found one here. Friendly staff, comfortable clean n quiet room, clean pool with nice lounge chairs, average breakfast, plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, pets allowed but we didn't hear or smell any. It's easy to get downtown and only takes about 10 minutes. Right off I-64 exit and […] in a well lit and safe area. The only odd thing is they charge extra for a microwave and fridge...but we knew this and brought a cooler and used their microwave in the breakfast area. The shower and toilet worked fine as did the a/c...ice machine right down the hall..decent flat screen TV. Nothing to complain about here. I'll be back next time I have to go to Nashville. "Very nice stay would do it again"
Clean, friendly,no problems. I did not try the breakfast, not into rolls, donuts, cereal, muffins, but it looked ok to me. Very quiet, I was on 2nd floor no traffic noise, no noise from the restaurant across the parking lot.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel very clean. Staff courteous. Quiet. Good restaurant next door "O Charley's", fantastic rolls and overall good food.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Not at all like the Microtel I stayed at before..."
After a long trip with 3 tired kids, my husband and I decided to stay overnight before finishing our trip home. Boy, do I wish we would have kept driving. The microtel we stated at before in Arkansas was new, nice, neat and clean so we trusted that this one would be the same. The bottom of the bathtub was brown (didn't want to sit my kids in), no soap, […] and the sofa bed was so worn that you could feel the springs jabbing into your hips. My daughter had a very restless night. Our 2 babies had their portable beds but couldn't stay asleep due to the slamming doors all night. To say the least, by the time we checked out, we were more tired than when we checked in. Do not recommend the Microtel!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Suitable cheaper option outside of downtown"
We were just passing through Nashville and wanted to stay outside of town in order to avoid getting caught in rush hour traffic and to avoid the hefty price tag of the downtown hotels. This place served the purpose well. It was fairly inexpensive and nice, and the staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, with the exception of a crumpled […] up Arby's receipt on the dresser. The bed was very comfortable. Just make sure to request a non-smoking room if that is your preference. The lobby smelled funny, but our non-smoking room smelled fine. Breakfast was pretty weak, which we had come to expect from less expensive hotels, so we weren't terribly disappointed. We went to Shoney's down the street instead. Even though the hotel is far from the downtown action, there are still a couple of restaurant/bars within walking distance. If you want to be close to downtown attractions, this place isn't for you, but if you don't mind driving a little ways and want to save money, this place will work. "Nice Hotel with great food next door"
We enjoyed our stay, the O'Charleys restaurant next door had the best food of our entire two week vacation. Hotel was quiet and pleasant and close to the interstate. Would definitely stay there again:))Genuine Expedia guest review
"MicroTel has Micro Rooms"
Very small room, hardly enough room to turn around, no couch or anything. On the other hand, the staff was friendly, coming IMMEDIATELY to look at an air conditioner issue, which was fixed very quickly -- 5-10 minutes, tops. They even delivered an ironing board and iron rather than asking me to pick them up at the front desk.Genuine Expedia guest review
Dirty. Tiny. Unfriendly service. Wouldn't refer my dog to this placeGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A little depressing..."
We've stayed at Microtels before and found them to be acceptable. I would describe this location as depressing...it seemed a bit old and tired and while clean, there were a few mystery stains here and there and it needed some fresh paint... just not a restful place to return to. We stayed 2 nights per an event at Belmont University, and didn't mind […] the 13 mile drive back towards the city (lovely area with lots of amenities) but the hotel itself was just "eh" and we would likely not stay there again. We paid $70 per nite and it just wasn't up to that price point. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Budget Friendly Room"
In town to visit our son in west Nashville. Needed a budget friendly room in that part of town. The Microtel fit the bill. Nothing fancy but the price was right. Clean room & reasonably quiet. Seemed to be a lot of pets & one dog barked a lot early one morning. Would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fills the bill"
For a one night stay on the road this was a fine motel. Interior corridors, free breakfast, free coffeee anytime, many restaurants nearby (one is in the parking lot). Great location, just west of Nashville, about a 20 minute ride to the heart of downtown. Room was small but I wasn't going to be dancing... Try not to get a room on the parking lot side […] if you will be sleeping late. Would stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"perfect for short stay"
This was a perfect hotel for a short stay. Price was great, close to Nashville only 15 min from our destination. Small room, but for 2 people that just needed a place to sleep for the night it was fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel staff was very friendly. The price was about twice as much as it should have been. Comps. Red Roof Inn, Super 8, Motel 6.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Don't listen to the other reviews"
I saw that this hotel had pretty good ratings on expedia, so I figured it would be the best option for a cheap stay outside of Nashville. Man, was I wrong. This place was terrible. The room was disgustingly dirty, the air conditioner was broken (and we happened to be there on one of the hottest days they've had so far this spring), and the room was […] about the size of a closet. Unfortunately, we arrived pretty late so we had to stay the night. If we got there earlier in the evening I definitely would have left. I headed to the front desk first thing in the morning, and after waiting about 10 minutes for someone to finally show up, I cancelled the remainder of our stay and got out of there. The free breakfast looked terrible as well. The only thing that wasn't bad about this hotel was the location. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"close to family"
First off, hotels.com did not inform me that there was a $25.00 per night charge for pets. I was just told that my pet could stay. I was very unhappy about this when I arrived and was told I would have to pay another $75.00. The hotel was O.K., but the beds were terrible. I could not sleep because of the discomfort. Also, the breakfast was lacking. […] Compared to other places I have stayed, I would rate it a 1. I will be very careful before I book my next room. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small but comfy"
The room was pretty small but was very clean and comfortable. We were there for a full week and really have no complaints considering what we paid. Just keep in mind the price before you judge it. "close enough to Lipscomb University"
I booked this through Hotels.com the rep from Hotels.com was very nice, people were very friendly. Clean lobby & clean in the room, although the room could have used a little more lighting. But nothing major. My only complaint is when I made the reservation through Hotels.com I requested that we have a microwave and a mini refrigerator and was assured […] that both would be in the room, but when we got there, I was told they were out of both since a construction company and snatched up all of them. But the front desk man told me in a nice way that we were welcome to come down and use the microwave and refrigerator. I just didn't want to do that while in my pj's if you know what I mean.Overall, the Cleanliness, Quality, Amenities,Location, Rates were all very good. It is by a waffle house, wendys, Sonic, Captian D's Burger King, Walgreens (that's open 24 hrs.) Great hotel, Compact, clean, great for overnight. Didn't stay for breakfast.Genuine Expedia guest review
Staff was very accomodating. My reservation entered their system as a smoking room although I clearly requested non-smoking. The desk clerk was very helpful in getting that changed. The hotel was clean but these were ABSOLUTLEY THE TINIEST ROOMS I'VE EVER STAYED IN BAR NONE!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great if you're moving to Bellevue"
My only two "complaints" would be that the vending machines for drinks weren't working and that sometimes you had to wait for the manager or desk person to come at night. By that I mean that their computers were in the back and sometimes they'd be working on stuff and not be at the very front. The wait time wasn't terrible. The grounds looked clean. […] The room was a bit dated, but everything worked. We had to turn on our ac/heater on occasion as the people next door were apparently deaf and their TV was a bit loud, but the ac/heater took care of the excess noise. There was continental breakfast, and the beds were very comfortable. Considering that we were moving and needed a place to stay while our apartment became available, this was a good choice. Close to the interstate, easy to find, and lots of places to eat close by and ample parking. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Just what I needed"
Some people find the rooms at Microtel a bit small, and for a couple that might be true. But for me traveling along, it's just what I need -- and the price is right. This one is very well run and very convenient location.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Microtel still a great value!"
Staff was great and most accomodating. Hotel was fine and if there were 4.5 ratings available, I'd have given them. Our only problem was that when my wife booked the hotel, she read on the Expedia site where she booked it, that the hotel was in close proximity to the major sites of Nashville. BUT we were on the west side (Rt. 40 heading toward Memphis) […] of the city (called Belli view) and had to travel a bit to get to the sites. Ad is a bit misleading. Stay was great, however. The location is so convenient for me. I'm close to a great restaurant for a late-nite dinner, and I can go a mile or so away for special shopping. I'm close to the 40 freeway and can get to downtown in a matter of minutes.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
