"Adequate for a night"
We stayed there because my mother's house was being cleaned. It was fine, but I wouldn't choose to stay there on vacation.Genuine Expedia guest review
I guess I booked a smoking room and didn't realize and it was very overwhelming the smell from the smoke in the air conditioner. Also the bed was very hard. But the staff was super helpful and nice!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value for Nashville area."
Friendly staff, clean room. Price was about $50 less than comparable hotels in Nashville area.Genuine Expedia guest review
Computer problems at check in and check out which is probably why I am not showing welcome rewards for the stay. Obviously built with economy in mind as noise transfers easily between rooms and hallway. Fortunately the neighbors were quiet. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was basic, but the price was very reasonable and we just needed a place to sleep. […] Room could have used a deep clean as floor had bathroom door jam had stains, but room was basically clean and no smell. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great deal, could use some new carpet. Otherwise clean and quite.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good place to break up a trip. Excessive noise from nearby storage facility interrupted sleep. Otherwise, it is a nice place.Genuine Expedia guest review
I will Never stay at this location again. Loud guests. Horrible amenities. Lack of breakfast. No fridge or microwave in room. Hole in the bathroom door. Definitely not worth the price paid. Located away from civilization.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"No-frills but super condition"
Upon checking in, we were greeted by kind staff and our room was immaculate. I had guessed the hotel had been there for no more than a couple of years but upon checkout I asked and was told it was about 15 years old. Everything looked brand new and made for a great experience. We brought our dog and there is a nice grassy area on the side for them to […] run around a little. The only downside is that the bed wasn't as plush as some of the fancy hotels, but it wasn't at all uncomfortable. I would definitely stay here again. There are several restaurants nearby and it's about a 15 minute drive to downtown Nashville. Right off the highway but far enough that it was quiet. Bordered on the back by a storage unit place so no sounds from the outside to deal with. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was very small, no coffee service in the room, I think for the same price, a better or regular size room can be found.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good value for Nashville"
The hotel is about 13 miles from downtown Nashville, but an easy drive and far more economical than staying downtown. The rooms are compact and efficient,\ and exceedingly clean and up-to-date. The staff is very friendly, the breakfasts are adequate, the parking good and the location safe. There is a pool but it was not open as it was February and […] cold! "You get what you pay for...Cheap."
Excessively stained carpets, hair on towels, basic breakfast of cereal and expiring fruit...not a great experience, but a cheap one. So if you're only planning to sleep there at least the beds are comfortable. Most of the staff was friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good quality with a reasonable rate"
We arrived at the hotel around non on Saturday. Because the hotel is a little apart from the downtown, we wished to check-in first and change before we went to the downtown. The lady at the front counter allowed us to check-in. That was very good. We went to the Nashville downtown, stayed there till midnight and came back to hotel. We enjoyed our t […] rip. "Nice and cozy"
Nice place, good overall nice and cozy Good breakfastGenuine Expedia guest review
The carpet in our room was very dirty and worn out. The linens did seem to be clean. The "breakfast" was the worst I've ever encountered in a hotel of any kind. The staff gets a mixed review. The girl who was cleaning rooms was helpful and friendly. The front desk attendant and the lady who was tending to the lobby/breakfast area was unpleasant at […] best. She made disparaging and racist remarks about the Hispanic group in the lobby on the first day and repeated it regarding the Asian group in the lobby on the second day of our stay. She spoke to me (a white male) in hushed conspiratorial tones to draw me into her vileness and didn't seem to appreciate it when I refused to be party to her ignorance. This hotel offers the bare minimum in accomodations. It should only be a last resort if all other hotels in the area are completely booked. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"convenient to interstate, small rooms"
This hotel is very convenient to I40, right off exit 196. But the rooms are small with dated furnishings. The bed is reasonably comfortable but the ac is loud. The breakfast is very limited, just cereal and some small baked goods, yogurt and bruised fruit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent place to stay"
Everything was clean and the staff was very pleasant and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel staff was very nice. We had to stay in a smoking room which I could deal with but the carpet in our room was terrible. Lots of burn holes and very dirty. My white socks were filthy from walking in our room. The shower was awful. The shower head was just a mist. The breakfast was not much either. Will not be staying here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Convenient location and very budget friendly. Everything was wonderful for a weekend stay the only negative was the carpets in the rooms need cleaned.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good place to spend the night. A little 'bare bones'. A lamp or two in the rooms would improve the ambience and the continental breakfast was as advertised. We felt safe and the beds were comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room smelled pungent (found out pets were allowed)and the carpet was filthy. Didn't realize microtels allowed pets. Will investigate before I stay at another.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Much better than expected!"
I have never been to a Microtel before, but I really enjoyed my stay as I was visiting my fiance and fam about 5 minutes away. I stayed from Oct 18-21. Mike at the front desk was very nice! He greeted me as I walked in, quickly pulled up my reservation and gave me my keys. I was in my room within 5 minutes of arriving at the hotel. I checked out the […] room and was a little worried because of the other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised - flat screen TV, microwave & mini fridge were present though I had been told that it was not going to be available since I had a standard room. This was the smallest hotel room I have ever stayed in, but it was nice and cozy for my fiancé and me to cuddle up and watch TV. My only complaint was that the carpet had lots of stains, but I never walk barefoot in hotels anyways and always wear shower shoes in the bathroom. The breakfast wasn't much of a breakfast but there are so many options nearby. There's an O'Charley's right next door (Be sure to download coupons from their website and get free pie slices on Wednesdays)! Waffle House, Subway, Burger King, Taco Bell, and Arby’s are within walking distance or very short drive (<0.2 miles to be exact). A nail salon, boutique and BP & Shell gas stations are nearby and Publix is within 3 traffic lights all less than 0.5 mile from the hotel. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would stay there again if I had to do so in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Third world hotel"
Carpet moldy stained sticky. Room smelled of old wet moldy clothes and cigarettes. Breakfast was a joke. Old one table to sit and eat. Staff smoked while workingGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good place, good price"
Nice enough, safe, and pretty clean. Good for the price.Genuine Expedia guest review
Easy access to interstate to downtown, clean. Would stay here againGenuine Expedia guest review
Room lighting was uncomfortable. No lamps and a lot of bright fluorescents. Outlets were hard to find and in this day and age there should be more and they should be more conveniently located.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"comfortable, economical, close to Nashville sights"
The queen suite was perfect for me and my husband. It was clean and comfortable plus the price was reasonable. The shower is "water saving" and difficult to operate-so call the front desk if you have a problem. A nice place to stay for the weekend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Business Spot for Few Days"
Great spot for business travelers looking for something simple. Location wise, it was very close to most of my meetings and a few restaurants, but also just 15 minutes away from downtown Nashville. The receptionist and workers were very friendly. The room was clean and quiet and had Free wifi. Getting an iron and ironing board were simple. Breakfast […] was more than sufficient. For the price we paid, and the experience we got - no complaints. Would stay here again for sure. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Pros - Rooms were clean, staff was very courteous and helpful. Con - Continental Breakfast had very few things to choose from. Donuts wasn't one.Genuine Expedia guest review
"close to Nashville but much cheaper"
We had a great visit. This is a friendly town. Walked next door to a neighborhood pizza spot, meet friendly people and had a good time. Hotel was nice and clean. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed- Sofa, refrigerator and microwave. Will be booking again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was adequate for our needs. We needed a place to stay to attend a funeral. It was inexpensive and close to the event. Hotel was what would be expected in that price range. Served our needs but would not recommend or use for a vacation.Genuine Expedia guest review
The rooms is small, but clean. The breakfast was continental, average. A good choice if you need a budget hotel and are just passing through. The pizza place next door was fun.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good bargain for 3 day trip to Nashville"
We are budget minded travelers looking for a good deal and we found one here. Friendly staff, comfortable clean n quiet room, clean pool with nice lounge chairs, average breakfast, plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby, pets allowed but we didn't hear or smell any. It's easy to get downtown and only takes about 10 minutes. Right off I-64 exit and […] in a well lit and safe area. The only odd thing is they charge extra for a microwave and fridge...but we knew this and brought a cooler and used their microwave in the breakfast area. The shower and toilet worked fine as did the a/c...ice machine right down the hall..decent flat screen TV. Nothing to complain about here. I'll be back next time I have to go to Nashville. "Very nice stay would do it again"
Clean, friendly,no problems. I did not try the breakfast, not into rolls, donuts, cereal, muffins, but it looked ok to me. Very quiet, I was on 2nd floor no traffic noise, no noise from the restaurant across the parking lot.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel very clean. Staff courteous. Quiet. Good restaurant next door "O Charley's", fantastic rolls and overall good food.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Microtel Nashville, TN"
The staff is extremly nice, I loved all of them, front desk, the cleaning people. The room was kind of small, but very cozy.Genuine Expedia guest review
I think you could do better on the continental breakfast. Fruit was rotten from the inside. Not many choices.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We liked the pool. Breakfast was a little underwhelming.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Not at all like the Microtel I stayed at before..."
After a long trip with 3 tired kids, my husband and I decided to stay overnight before finishing our trip home. Boy, do I wish we would have kept driving. The microtel we stated at before in Arkansas was new, nice, neat and clean so we trusted that this one would be the same. The bottom of the bathtub was brown (didn't want to sit my kids in), no soap, […] and the sofa bed was so worn that you could feel the springs jabbing into your hips. My daughter had a very restless night. Our 2 babies had their portable beds but couldn't stay asleep due to the slamming doors all night. To say the least, by the time we checked out, we were more tired than when we checked in. Do not recommend the Microtel!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Suitable cheaper option outside of downtown"
We were just passing through Nashville and wanted to stay outside of town in order to avoid getting caught in rush hour traffic and to avoid the hefty price tag of the downtown hotels. This place served the purpose well. It was fairly inexpensive and nice, and the staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, with the exception of a crumpled […] up Arby's receipt on the dresser. The bed was very comfortable. Just make sure to request a non-smoking room if that is your preference. The lobby smelled funny, but our non-smoking room smelled fine. Breakfast was pretty weak, which we had come to expect from less expensive hotels, so we weren't terribly disappointed. We went to Shoney's down the street instead. Even though the hotel is far from the downtown action, there are still a couple of restaurant/bars within walking distance. If you want to be close to downtown attractions, this place isn't for you, but if you don't mind driving a little ways and want to save money, this place will work.
