When I booked my room we really were not sure what our stay would be like with 3 small children. But the Holliday Inn was very easy for our kids. Not... to mention all three of our kids ate for free. Took our two grandson ages 5&8months very cleN, friendly and had a great time on a pre spring get away. Kids had a blast areas very kid friendly and plenty of life gaurds. Food at restaurant was great and service wonderful. Will go again.

The only complaint I have is that continental breakfast is always complimentary at a Holiday Inn Express, except here. $9 for adults, $5 for kids. Very nice hotel. Only two problems for me. Pillows were small and pillow cases were stained. Gross. The other problem, this is the second time my son got a rash from their pool. We will have to use a different hotel next time. I would still recommend this place.

The front desk staff were great as was the room. My family had a great time at the waterpark. However, the waterpark staff were unresponsive/clueless when it came to service (no towels available and didn't really care if there would be any available). The pool restrooms were absolutely disgusting. The staff shut the waterpark down and didn't communicate […] why to any of the guest who were using it. It was clearly understood that the staff did not receive their paycheck and were told they would likely have to wait until next week. The restaurant food and service were poor. The restaurant staff had multiple music channels playing at the same time over the sound system so all we heard was Loud NOISE. We waited for a long time to get our food and when it came it was not what was ordered. Based on the price and service in the restaurant, I would not spend the money in the hotel restaurant--I would go to any of the restaurants near to hotel. Read more

No it isn't Disney, but it is a nice spot for a family to stay for a few days. We have been there twice now and for the $$ you can't beat it. We stayed in the family King suite which is 2 rooms attached to each other. It offers a small dining table, a nice kitchenette as well as 3 beds. Our large family of 9 slept great in their. We also received […] complementary passes for each day we were there for the Serengeti waterpark. Our kids really enjoyed it and it was fun enough for all ages from 11/2 to 15. We have a 3 year old and wanted to get away for the weekend. We were looking for a hotel/waterpark less than 2 hours away from us. Of the ones we looked at, this was the most economical and was just about 2 hours away from us. Overall, we had a good and relaxing time. The waterpark was fun, but being told there would be swim towels at the waterpark, […] we left our hotel towels in the room and headed down there. There were zero towels available. After repeated requests over the course of almost 2 hours for towels, we kept being told they were in the dryer and would be brought out soon. They never came. The towel issue would be my only complaint. Otherwise we had a good and relaxing time and over the weekend enjoyed a quick trip to Cabela's next door, and dinner at Famous Dave's (across the street), and good Caribou coffee in the morning (across the street as well) - my favorite! Even if EVERYTHING else was splended, a crummy bed ruins the entire stay. My husband and I slept on a king sized bed, and we constantly rolled to the middle of the bed . . . and no, we're not overweight. If you're sleeping in a single bed, your stay might be ok, but I just wanted to share our experience.
