This hotel was difficult to find, but once there, it was clean although I found the rooms very drab and sort of depressing. The view from the balcony was ok , the staff was ok ,the pool was ok , the lobby was ok . The breakfast was good. This hotel is close to the beach about 5min walking and close to all the resturants.

Very nice, boutique hotel close to the beach. No beach/seaviews, though. The swimming pool is excellent, but the gym is quite small and limited. Beach towels are an issue. The wi-fi internet did not work most of the time!

The hotel staff was incredibly friendly. The room was clean and right off the pool area. Pool bar and restaurant were open most of the day and the food was excellent, including breakfast. Location is close to boardwalk in Kamari with tons of restaurants open very late. Beach is black sand (i.e. rocks) which was discouraging so we stayed at the pool. […] Volcano tour and Fira (main tourist center) are accessable by taxi and local bus for those days not by the water. We recently stayed at the Rose Bay Hotel in Kamari in Santorini for 10 days. Even though it was in the height of summer (August) the hotel remained quiet and peaceful, sunbeds around the pool were always available. The staff were lovely, always happy and nothing was too much trouble. A special mention for Adriana and Elena who were friendly and chatty […] to everyone. The facilities were good, the swimming pool was very inviting, the pool bar was well stocked and catered for all tastes and the hotel was always spotlessly clean. There was a good variety of food available for breakfast but they could do with another toaster on occasions. The hotel is under 10 mins walk to the beach which again was always spotless with plenty of sunbeds from €2.50. There was a good selection of restaurants and bars along the front serving fresh Greek food. The hotel is on the flight path to the airport and the planes do come over very low but rather than be annoying it is fascinating to watch them sweep in over the bay. Taxi's cost around €15-18 to Fira to watch the beautiful sunsets. Read more

Very good- not quite "usual" 4 star, but very friendly staff, lovely pool, nice breakfast. It's close to the airport, but there aren't too many planes per day and that's a problem with every hotel in this village. Very happy with our stay.

Stayed for 7 nights in room 307(suite) no pool view but sea views instead! There are rooms around the pool so go for one of these or one of the 2 suites as a few of the other rooms only have garden views. A chilled out place, great pool, which was needed as the beach is very stoney, clean towels & beddding every day,great service good food not too bad […] prices either! Very relaxed atmosphere Hotel location is at the top end of town but its only a 20 min stroll to the other end along the sea front The resort itself is very laid back, VERY friendly people, and very clean.Try any of the restaurants along the front they are all good! A couple of bars worth a mention are The Liver bird, just up a side road 50m, wayne & Shelia run it and do the best english breakfasts in the resort, very friendly couple who kept a first class bar! well worth a visit. My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in June and very much enjoyed it. The location of the hotel is at the far end of the beach, however the walk to the main area of shops, bars and tavernas was very pleasant, following a pedestrian path along the beach front, and only takes 5-10 minutes. There are a few supermarkets, restaurants and bars within […] 100 meters also. The staff were friendly and helpful when I enquired about local trips and needed transport information. The hotel was lovely and clean. Our room was a double and was adequate. It had a small fridge and a balcony, although the view was of buildings and a garden so not great. The shower was very small, but we managed with it. The maid came everyday to clean and change the towels. The breakfast was fresh and varied, with continental and cooked options, and there is a nice seating area for it. The pool is gorgeous. It is clean and modern. Fresh beach towels were provided each day. The pool bar was also very nice and had a good menu. Overall we had a great stay and I would thoroughly recommend the hotel. Read more

I would recommend Rose Bay Hotel in Kamari to anyone looking for a private hotel close to the beach and cafes, but away from the prying eyes of the tourists that stroll along the beach front day and night. I was actually disappointed at the beach front hotels with their small sized swimming pools in full view of the public. Kamari is definitely the […] best place to stay on Santorini, away from the crowds at Fira and Oia, but within walking distance to shops, cafes and a swimmable beach. We caught the bus to Fira and then onto Oia for a sunset view. We hired quad bikes for a day and explored Santorini- that was a highlight of our stay. The food and drink at the cafes in Kamari is reasonably priced, with many places offering 'happy hour' during the evening. Rose bay Hotel staff were friendly and the food and drink prices similar to Athens which was a pleasant surprise. The downside of Santorini would be the exhorbitant cost of taxis- 15 Euro to go four miles from the airport to Rose Bay Hotel! Planes fly a bit low over the hotel but there were only a few each day. I would recommend Rose Bay Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, inexpensive stay in Santorini. Read more

We stayed at the Rose Bay Hotel in late June 2010. This is a wonderful hotel with 2 floors where all the rooms overlook the large clear water swimming pool that was very warm. Everything is very clean and updated and the staff is excellent. Our package included breakfast each morning and it was very good. The location of the hotel is awesome with […] the beach only 50 meters down the road where there are plenty of shops and restaurants along the long beach strip. You also have a small grocery store to stock up on anything you need and the prices in this store are very reasonable. Santorini in general is expensive to dine out but you can find places that serve a great meal at a reasonable cost. There is wireless internet service at the hotel and you can find wifi hotspots on various parts of the island. We loved every minute while staying here and although there are probably other great hotels like this one, we got a great price by booking through Expedia. Warning: if taking a taxi from the port or airport, always ask what it will cost to your destination as we were charged $18 Euros for a short ride from the port to the airport to pick up our rental car. We also got a good deal by booking our rental car through Expedia as you never know what you may pay by picking one up once on the island. Santorini is perfect for couples as it is a very romantic island to visit. Families love it as well. For a gauranteed good stay in Santorini, come to Rose Bay Hotel. Read more

Ottima posizione vicino al mare. Bella la piscina. Prima colazione accettabile anche se abbastanza ripetitiva. Personale disponibile. Le stanze lasciano un'pò a desiderare, in particolare il bagno. Adeguate le 4 stelle per le strutture comuni, le stanze non ne meritano più di tre.

Vi bodde på Rose Bay i fyra nätter i ett rum med havsutsikt. Tyvärr så hördes inflygningarna till flygplatsen väldigt mycket och det kom plan även nattetid så vi vaknade. Förutom detta så var det ett trevligt hotell med ett mycket fint poolområde och nära till den lugna delen av stranden.Rummen är mycket enkla men rena. Som det ofta är på turist hotell […] så var sängarna lite hårda även här. Read more

Only 10 mins from the airport, practically right by the sea (1 min walking) and in an lovely seafront area full of nice (and high quality!!) restaurants, bars and shops. The room was spotlessly cleaned every day and the towels were changed also daily. The entire staff was really friendly and helpful, specially Christina which was always warm with us and gave us tons of precious advices to visit the island. She made us feeling like if we were visiting some good old friends! They offer a “happy hour” service (from 17.30 to 23.00) by the pool bar serving superb cocktails at just 5 euro. Otroligt vänlig personal som var tillmötesgående när vi önskade byta rum från ett rum som överblickade poolområdet till ett i de bakre delarna av komplexet. Anledning till detta var att vi ville ha det så lugnt som möjligt. Samtliga ytor utomhus och inomhus var välskötta och rummen var vackert inredda i ljusa färger. Vi saknade dock fler krokar samt […] garderobsutrymme i vårt rum. Läget var perfekt - bara några meter från havet (dock ej havsutsikt - ibland mer havsglimt). Frukosten serverades i resturangen och det fanns möjlighet att sitta utomhus. Bra priser på lunch och väldigt god mat. Staff is great, friendly and helpful. As I was travelling without children there were a bit too many loud children to my taste. The hotel should primarily be recommended to families with children, as adults without children usually don't want to listen to others screaming children on their holiday.

Hotellet ligger i Kamari som kan beskrives som strandbyen på Santorini. Hotellet er i veldig bra stand. Rommene er store og behagelige, eneste unntak er at madrassene var litt harde. Bra frokost også. Hotellet ligger 50 m unna strand og strandpromenade med utallige restauranter. Her anbefaler vi Restaurant Sunshine med sine herlige pastaretter. L'hotel Rose Bay di Kamari è un GRAN BUON 3 stelle. Le pulizie vengono effetuate giornalmente così come anche il cambio degli asciugamai. Hotel un pò spartano nell'arredamento delle stanze ( non dimentichiamoci che viene spacciato per un 4 stelle) ma veramente carino PULITO ( e pare che in alcuni posti in Grecia sia un optional la pulizia) ed accessoriato. […] Accessibile a persone disabili ( magari specificate perchè le stanze sono piccoline). Personale gentilissimo e poliglotta Colazione a buffet veramente buona e mooooooooooooolto abbondante. Parcheggio privato un pochino misero e spesso male usato dai clienti che parcheggiano in ogni modo, ma a meno di 100 metri c'è ampia possibilità di parchegio. A meno di 200 metri dal lungomare di Kamari, nelle vicinanze ogni tipo di taverna. L'hotel è molto carino, il personale molto cordiale in particolare all'arrivo in cui forniscono gratuitamente guida e cartina dell'isola completando il tutto con varie indicazioni e consigli. Colazione ben fornita di varietà. Camere non grandissime ma adeguate come spazio per riporre gli indumenti. Frigo, Wi-fi gratuito e tv, peccato un solo canale […] italiano.
