For the cost this is a good option. Staff is great, hotel clean and breakfast being included saves time and money on a trip. Best part is being under 1 block from the Max stop!...we left the car behind for the day and took the train into downtown Portland..rode all day for under $5.00.

The outstanding aspect of this motel is the staff: all cheerful, friendly and helpful. Another great feature: it's a straight shot from the airport, over major streets, but without having to use a freeway. Yet it's far enough from the airport to avoid airport noise.

The hotel seemed clean and orgainized with shower, drains, coffee pot, hair dryer functioning well. The beds could have been better as far as comfort. We had clean towels and room cleaned every day. The staff was helpful and the place was clean. My only problem was that the heater in the room didn't work well. We had to keep tweeking the knobs to keep the heat on. Other than that we had no complaints.

The room was pretty much what I expected for the price. The big bonus was the free continental breakfast w/hot waffles. Big fan. My only complaints were that there wasn't an elevator (hubby had to lug luggage for 5 up a flight of stairs) and the room could have been cleaner. There was a dirty towel left thrown up on top of the clothes hanger and there […] was what looked like a tiny blood stain that didn't come out in the wash on my pillow case. I'm not a germaphob so I didn't freak but I could see how it would upset someone. (It had obviously been washed just the faded stain was left). The counter clerk was very helpful and very cheerful. She took great care of us. The room was very large and comfortable. I would defintily stay here again. I did the STP 200 miles in one day and the hot tub was the perfect end of the day.

The front desk person was very cheerful. The non-smoking room smelled clean. The room was quiet, which was a bit surprising. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and had a good shower. The room included the expected amenities of shampoo, soap, shower gel, and hair blower. It also had a small refrigerator and microwave. We had a special […] room that included filtered water from the tap. The furniture was chipped, and one would sink down nearly to the floor in the somewhat comical easy chair resulting in a lower rating for comfort. Free internet access was a big selling point for us. The surrounding neighborhood is far from scenic, but it was close to where we wanted to be. It was easy to find off of I-205. It was comfortable enough and we would stay there again. Read more

This hotel would have been a good value if they would have placed me in a location away from the noise (Street, Stairwell, and Late night entry door). I did not have enough silence until after midnight to sleep. All of the customer service personnel except for one (the guy that checked me in) were very good. Super nice man working at the front!! AMAZING continental breakfast with make your own fresh waffles, fresh coffee, toast, cinnamon buns and much more! Sure its not a 5 star hotel, but we got a clean room, great food, convenient location all for more then half of what it would of cost to stay downtown!

Our stay was quite pleasant. However, we were not pleased with the fact that our reserved hotel room was not available at check in because the air conditioner broke down and they were not able to accomodate us with another room on that floor. We were given another room downstairs by the ice machine which was one of our requests that we NOT be placed […] near an ice machine or elevator (there were no elevators). They told us we could upgrade to another room upstairs for an extra $10/night. This was rectified when the manager told the desk clerk that we could be given an upgrade without an extra charge. Overall, the service was good and the complimentary breakfast was quite adequate. There was a slight smoky odour at the end of our hallway because the smoking rooms were located in that area. The staff is very helpful. The waffle maker is a plus, my kids love the waffles. Bring your own fruits though as the fruits there are bananas and apples only. But hey! with the price, you can't ask for more!
