Room was supposed to have queen bed this room did not. Room was supposed to have wifi had none.. Room was very small. I would have changed hotels but surrounding hotels were booked.

The only complaint I have about this hotel is the space for breakfast is too small for the number of rooms. Very crowded during breakfast time. Otherwise the hotel was clean, comfortable, and the staff friendly.

Hotel was clean and close to downtown. However, hotel was overbooked and we had to wait to check in. We had driven thirteen hours and just wanted to shower and relax, but were told our room would not be available until 9:00 p.m. Luckily we only had to wait an extra half hour.

First stay at Microtel and overall it was very satisfactory. Stayed three days, breakfast was adequate, cleanliness was also satisfactory. I have stayed at some the other holtels in Owatonna, Minn. and it surprised me a little with the lower cost of the stay. Ask for a room with a tempurpedic bed. I have one at home, and it's nice to know what kind of sleep to expect. No lumps, good support. Our dog was accomodated well, no problem. We like to stop here between Grand Forks, ND and St Louis, MO. It's right at about the halfway point. Heading out south in the morning, there's a good Perkins for breakfast about […] half an hour down the road (in Albert Lea maybe?). Needed just a cheap place to stay on a short overnight stay. Person as desk was pleasant and helpful. Room was ok at best. Room not very clean. Wall behind headboard was all mirrors and was just very odd. "Adult products" store next door.

I usually like a stay at a Microtel since it's a reliably clean and updated place. We were exhausted and it was easy to sleep. The place was quiet, which was great. The room was totally not up to Microtel standard. The mirror in the bathroom had something etched into it at face level and it looked vaguely lewd, so that was weird. There was beige something […] splattered on the back of the bathroom door...I choose to call it 'paint' . The place had a funky smell to it as well. Other than that, I found it just 'cheap'. If you are looking for a cheap hotel and you only need to stay a night or two, this is the place for you. Everything was average. Service, room, and breakfast were all satisfactory for the cost.

Honestly we were only there for a few hours but the beds were the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on. I would have slept on the floor had I trusted it to be clean. They had a bench in the room which was nice but it had large white stains on it and there were spiders in the bathroom. I wouldnt stay there again. It was however very cheap.

We found the hotel without issue and were welcomed by a very pleasant and helpful person at the desk who stressed that we let her know if we have any questions or needs. That was appreciated at 10 pm and after a 4 hour car ride that involved a serious storm system.

I'd say you get what you pay for. The hotel was run down and our room could have used some TLC. Carpet was coming up between the bathroom and entry way and overall the room seemed dreary. It wasn't necessarily a bad experience but in hind sight I would have spent a little more money for a nicer place.

They act like a budget hotel with too high price for what you get. No decaf coffee without asking, hard bed, few towls and thin, no sign to locate hotel, ice etc only on main floor. no low chairs to sit.

We arrived after 10pm and the front desk gal, MaryBeth was there with a smile. We were quickly processed and went to our room. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was nice and we had a great stay.
