The management is very professional and welcoming. The rooms supply all your needs, fridge, aircon, microwave, plasma t.v. Updated bathroom. Could use better lighting in bathroom for mirror. Pool kept nice and clean. My room was on the ground floor near the office and the maintenance closet so it was a little noisy but overall it is quiet. Is a short walk to the boardwalk. We never used our car. This was the second time we were there. It's like a Hyundai. You can't beat the price for what you get.

Enjoyed the stay. Only having stayed at many Courtyard facilities, I was a little disappointed not to find a frig, micro etc, in the room. Bathroom sink area a bit smaller than most. Other wise a nice stay.

We stayed for four days and had very enjoyable time. The hotel is near shopping , points of interest and walking opportunities. The park like setting with swimming pool is very attractive and restful. Complimentary breakfast is convenient and adequate. Overall, avery nice experience.

"A very pleasant stay!"
Did not expect the quality, value and all aspects of this little gem! Just an over night stay, but we were uprated to a suite - quiet, clean, recent construction, good safe parking. We will be back again in future, it's now in our little black book!

Our family really enjoyed their stay at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful, the breakfast was amazing, the pool was actually warm enough to swim in despite the cooler weather and everything was so clean. Keep it up!

"SUPER DUPER"
We were a group of 6 college students. We were looking for a place to accommodate all of us in one room (or close together) that was near Santa Cruz. Only about 10 minutes drive o SC boardwalk. Staff was super friendly. Free breakfast was ok.. not the fancy 5 star ones, but FREE! Pool and Hot tub was clean~ We were loud so they gave us a friendly "quite […] down" notice. "BW PLUS - CAPITOLA"
My group of 4 adults and 1 child were impressed by the professional staff / service and the size of our 2 bedroom suite. The hotel is clean and well maintained. It is close to Capitola City Beach and Espalande. We will stay again when visiting the area.

We were treated kindly and had a fine experience at this BW. We stayed for the Wharf to Wharf race and they allowed us to leave our car in the parking lot in the afternoon which made it convenient for us. Driving around and looking for parking on race day is hard so we got a ride in the AM to Santa Cruz (I saw some people taking taxis so that was an […] option too) and left our car. We enjoyed our stay. Heated pool was a plus. Continental breakfast was abundant and varied. Great location, within walking distance to Capitola Mall, 8 minute drive to the beach. We will stay there again next time we vacation in Capitola.
We were there on a Thursday night. Early Friday morning brought what first sounded like a garbage truck, but was later followed by more loud construction type noise. Otherwise everything was great, though the room was a trifle warm.
I would recommend this hotel, however I would be sure to have future travelers ask about the room first. Ours was #202 overlooking 3 garbage dumpsters. Also asked an employee where the beach was and she didn't know..............
"great hotel, especially for the price"
Extraordinarily good, especially considering the price. It was like a mini-hotel, not a motel. Heated pool, updated rooms/decor, exercise room, free breakfast. Even two sinks in the room, one in the bathroom and one outside in the vanity. We stayed with our small kids and they loved it. Nothing negative to say about it. I hope to stay there again.
The staff is very well organized and friendly. The location was perfect for us. Will return.

We only stayed one night, but wish it had been more. Very well maintained, clean, and super helpful front desk manager. The continental breakfast was a hit with the kids...they have a make-your-own waffle station! The pool/jacuzzi area was nice. The hotel and surrounding neighborhood were quiet and safe. Our stay was very nice, and we were pleasantly surprised with the spaciousness of the room as well as the other facilities available. Breakfast was also very nice. Will come again when in the area.

don't stay in Santa Cruz, this hotel is just a few minutes from the Boardwalk the neighborhood is much better and you definitely get your moneys worth here. Facility is nice, new and very comfortable with lots of stores and places to eat within walking distance.
