The hotel is remodeling, they didn 't clean our yesterday, hammering begins at 9:00am, vending machine didn't work, sink stopped up. I would not choose this hotel again.

The over-all stay at the Raddisson was a pleasant stay except for a few items that were hard to over look. The hotel was in the midst of remodeling and we had non-stop nail banging and drilling the whole time. We only visited the lounge once and found the bartender rude and hostile. This was the perfect location for us. Beach was literally out the back door of the hotel and we were able to walk to the USS Lexington and Aquarium. Room was cleaned and newly renovated.

The hotel was under construction. The lobby was dirty and your staring at a huge ship right on the beach. If you want to call that a beach. We were supposed to stay for four nights we stayed one and checkout early. The whole place was depressing. Never again!

The bar service is good; the drinks were good. The waiter was helpful and a very nice young man. The food was cold when served at dinner and was spicier than represented by the waiter. The music was too loud in the bar, particularly considering there were 3 TVs broadcasting the news. Eventhough the lobby was under renovation, the hotel was wonderful. The staff was so cheerful and friendly, from the front desk to the maids. To me, that is an indicator that they take care of their employees. The location CANNOT be beat! We parked our car and walked everywhere for 4 days. Hotel was being renovated so this was somewhat of an inconvenience. However, once the renovations are complete it should be fine. Our room was very clean. Our main complaint is with the Hotel Restaurant. We weren't greeted when we walked in. And barely greeted when we had to wave someone down to bring us a menu. My experience was terrible. I usually don't post reviews but the Radisson in Corpus deserves a negative review. The hotel lobby area is under construction which I understand however the rooms were very dated and in poor condition overall. I got in very late and when I laid down on the bed in room 402 it was hard as a rock and all springs. I booked and pre-payed for a room with a balcony and an unobstructed view of the bay. The hotel charges a premium for these rooms. When we checked in we were told no such rooms were available. We were given a room with a side balcony . No adjustment was offered. No comp meals no rebate, nothing.The TV in the room froze up. I have stayed in numerous hotels at corpus christi ( I live in san antonio). All I can say about the Radisson is WHY DID I NOT KNOW YOU EXISTED BEFORE? It could have saved me a lot of headaches with the other hotels. I have stayed at the "Omni" "Bayfront Inn" "Quality Inn" "Holiday Inn" and "Embassy Suites" and none come close to the Radssion on the […] Beach. It is a great location the lexington is in your backyard literally. You can walk to the Texas State Aquarium and arrive there in 5 minutes. They have a private beach that well maintained I did not see any trash what so ever. Management goes out of their way to keep this place clean trust me I saw it first hand. A spring breaker threw a coke bottle at the trashcan but missed, knowing that she missed she stil didn't pick it up. I saw a manager look at us and then shook his head and picked it up himself. It was a great stay. I only have TWO complains. First do not get a room that has twin beds there is not enough room to do anything but sleep and maybe sit at a corner. I'm sure the King size rooms don't have this problem. My second complaint is that they are working on renovations they have a sign that says "sorry for the inconvinence but are are working on rennovations for your future stay". My wife and i loved the sleep number bed and being so close to beach and the USS Lexington! I thought that the lighting in the bathroom could improve along with some wall decor that was absent. I wished that the ad on hotels.com would have given the option to reserve a room on the beach side vetsus parkng lot side.

Lovely. On the beach. Remodeling almost complete. Includes new mattresses and furniture. Easy walk to local restaurants. Not downtown, but excellent on the beach location. Just 1000 feet from carrier Lexington, on permanent display. In hotel restaurant and bar. Great balconies.. specify ocean side. Sunrise is into your room.. beautiful.

The only problem was that I booked my room a week before. I asked for a king size bed and the view to the beach. When I got to the hotel there was no view to the sea and no king size bed. No body explained to me that what I asked for was a reference. When I went to ask why my room had two beds instead of one, they said because it was just a reference. […] They end up changing us from rooms because the control remote for the TV and one of the phones didnt work and my boyfriend complain. Older hotel. Being remodeled so by May 1st it should be even better. Heater/AC fan ran all night. Could not control it so unplugged the unit. First room the TV didn't work. Staff was great in moving us to a different room. Staff friendly. Didn't eat there so don't know the quality of the meals. Would stay there again. Good Expedia room rate.

The hotel itself was fine and the staff at the front counter seemed nice enough. Room service was pretty bad. For example, I have a food allergy and when I asked her if something had this in it her response was she didn't know and I had to ask her to check for me which she did with the attitude of I was bothering her. Everything looks good online. The hotel is older, but located either in the middle or not far from tourist sites and restaurants. The rooms are basic but upgraded with flat screen TV's and Sleep Number beds.

Here is what i think of my hotel room .... stay as less in at as possible. The carpet is so dirty if you wear white socks they can be dyed black in matter of seconds. One of the dirtiest hotel room, would never spend a penny to go stay there again.

We really enjoyed being right on the beach! It was disappointing that the swim-up bar was closed for the season, but we enjoyed the hot tub. They were very accomodating at the hotel, and loved our waitor at the restaurant, Bob!

before i reserved my room i viewed the photo's and found it to be the type of hotel i normally reserve. But the photo's were quite deceiving, hotel is old looking inside and out.

Hotel rooms are very clean. Going out the back entrance of the hotel, you walk right onto the beach. The view from the bay side is excellent with viewing the ocean and the USS Lexington. The USS Lexington is only 1 block away and dining is very convenient. The hotel staff is very accomodating.

My wife and I wanted to take a 3 day mini vacation in Corpus Christi. We wanted someplace near the sights and restaurants. Corpus Christi Beach was the best location, not perfect, but good and much better than the downtown area, which is declining. The hotel is starting to age. Paint flaking off the ceiling and rust on the bathtub. The bathroom is small, […] with the door making the bathtub hard to reach. The toilet is short. It felt like I was a little boy on my training potty. The a/c works well, but is the noisiest a/c that I have ever experienced. Hard to sleep with all that noise. No, it wasn't working poorly. Just a poor design. No stopper in the bath tub. We bought one, which was easier than bugging the management. Earlier we complained that there was a dribbling water leak flowing from the upper balcony and landing on our balcony. Our complaint was ignored. The bay side view was worth the extra cost. The hotel was in easy walking distance to the Lexington, the aquarium, and some good restaurants. It was right on the beach. The hotel restaurant was very good and the price reasonable. We just had breakfast there. For the average room, we will probably check out the less expensive hotels. Well we stay there again? Maybe. Read more

Very happy with location of this hotel, literally walk out the door and there is a beautiful beach. Hotel staff was so friendly. Great neighborhood, you can walk to the USS Lexington. only down side to the hotel was the sleep number beds, would have liked a regular mattress.
