Snowmass is a great mountain to ski but pricey. We were fortunate to find such a nice nearly slopeside hotel with an excellent spa, gym and hot tub at such a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Personally I like Snowmass better than Aspen so this is a great place to stay. If you have to go to Aspen, there's a free bus that you can pick up just up the street from the hotel. The room was clean, spachious, comfortable, and quiet. The only Cons would be parking, it's not included so you have to purchase a $30/week pass to park in the city lot […] across the street. On our first night, we were disrupted by lots of loud noise above us - almost as if people were moving furniture and/or jumping around. It lasted for about two hours until we let the front desk know. We couldn't sleep, and almost preferred to move rooms right away. Luckily, the noise stopped within 30 minutes. The next morning, we asked to change rooms […] to prevent further problems, which the staff helped us to immediately. They were apologetic and very friendly. It is unclear if the hotel is not built sturdily and therefore one can hear lots of noise coming from above often, or if these were some particularly loud customers. Overall, it was a fine stay. Our stay was wonderful and very relaxing. We decided to stay at the Stonebridge Inn because we got a really good price on the room and we wanted to have a nice anniversary dinner in Aspen. The room was really clean except for under the couch, which was moved to accomodate our in-room masseuses. I was particularly pleased with the staff because I left […] an article of clothing in my room so they retrieved it and assured me I would receive it via FedEx in a couple of days. This hotel might be worth it, if you got the most basic room at the lowest price. I updgraded to a king suite, with a balcony. It's totally overrated. It looks like the hotel used to be condos and they tried to convert it. I thought it was a polished t-rd. The pictures on the website are much better than the real thing. The hotel looks like it's nestled […] deep in the mountain. It's not, the little bridge you see in the pitcure is a few feet from the main road. The hotel doesnt have it's own parking, so you'll have to park across the street at the community "park and ride" and drag your luggage across the road, to the hotel. If you're there for the skiing, then maybe this is a good thing for you. The carpet is torn in the hallways, eveything is mismatched, the thermostate in my room didnt work (had to use a space heater), They will charge you an additional $30 when you check in for "incidentals" then reimburse you later. On the bright side, they have a restaurant that is suppose to be great., but I didnt try it. Read more

The hotel was nice and comfortable, but my problem was with the front desk staff and the room rate. I requested a "Mountain" view room and paid extra for it. The other choice was "Ridge" view. Our view was the "Ridge" and the staff (Jared & David) insisted that our room was considered a "Mountain" view. The hotel wasn't full as it was off season and […] they refused to move us or refund the difference. The more amusing part was that my wife and I later asked the same staff members about hiking trails nearby and they gave us a map of the hike that went along the "ridge" right out our room window! So the only reason my staff rating is as high as it is was based solely on the restaurant staff and the restaurant which was very good. Read more

Set up as a rustic mountain lodge and beautifully furnished room. Grounds were set in a serene setting with trees and small stream with large boulders. Breakfast buffet sitting outside was wonderful. Would recommend to others although food was a bit pricey.

The hotel staff greeted us pleasantly with news that we were upgraded from a king room to a two bedroom condo. We were pleased with the news until it was time for bed. The nicest part of the condo was the bathroom (updated) and the couch and love seat. The bedroom furniture was straight from the 1980s with a mattress likely from that era as well. The […] sheets did not fit the bed and in the night ended up in a ball in the center of the bed. The neighbors, who I was told the resort has no control over, were loud, smoked cigarettes for hours in front of our door, drank so much they were verbally abusive to me after a long day of work. I honestly thought we were going to have a fight on the balcony. Luckily the drunks went inside and I presume passed out. The crisp morning air was refreshing, until you open windows and smell cigarette smoke and the hot air from a very large ventilation fan coming from the restaurant. Needless to say you close windows immediately after opening them, unless you like the smell of restaurant kitchen. Overall a two out of five. After talking to the locals the place to stay in Snowmass Village is the Viceroy. If you stay in Condo 95 watch your step. There is likely a Mason jar of water and cigarette butts on the front porch. Everything was great! The free shuttle around town makes getting in and out super easy. There isn't a bad view from any room on the property as far as I could tell. All the staff was friendly and prompt. Reservations at the restaurant are strongly recommended.

The surrounding neiborhood is Very Nice, very close to the aspen area at a modest price, the look on the outside is very nice too, just like the picture. You are walking distance from a cute mall/shopping center. On the inside it feels just a little bit dated, nothing too bad, the look on the inside was very rustic, but clean. The elevator was fixed […] on the day I checked in, the attendant in the front was nice. I had a nice view of the mountain. The only two issues I found were no A/C and you have to walk across for parking but if you drop off or load your things at the front, you should be fine. Read more
