A bit worn, peeling wallpaper, scary elevators that don't stop alined with the floors etc. Not the best neighborhood. But ok for the price and conveince if you want to be near the station.

This not a great hotel. I booked because of it's proximity to the Naples train station. I wish I had booked the Stanhope, it was closer to the station and cheaper.

Do not stay at this hotel! We needed to send some emails while in Naples and expected a certain level of quality from a Ramada Hotel. Wrong! They charge for wireless in room but "offer it free" in the lobby and restaurants. I put that in quotes because the signal worked in the lobby, where there was no space, but not in the restaurants or bar as advertised. […] The employees merely shrugged. On to the room. The water worked in the shower but not in the tub portion. Worse it only got lukewarm. When we complained we were told all rooms were like that. The room had faded stained carpets. It also sported one large window which had metal Venetian blinds embedded within two panes of glass. These did not work. Again maintenance called who also couldn't get it to work. Another shrug. The options were to stay in a room which resembled a cell or keep the large window completely open all night (which made the room chilly). By leaps and bounds the worst hotel we stayed in in Italy (or anywhere else in recent memory for that matter). Read more

Room conditions and locations are no problem. We are asked additional payment for City-tax which was not shown in the Web. Also, it was not clear the rate include breakfast at the check in. We also asked to pay for breakfast.

Locarion was good for train station and airport but the service was lackluster at best. Three different rooms including ours didn't have hot water. That's not good when you are up at 3:30 am to catch a 6:40 flight.

The ramada hotel in Naples is a nice hotel with great dinners and breakfast. The hotel is just in a horrible area. It is located near the train station but you will need an armed escort with you to make it to the hotel and forget about leaving the hotel after dark . This hotel should be used for a short stay when passing thru Naples .

Location was in a rough part of town and the hotel is starting to look pretty shabby. Walls need painting and the carpet is overdue for replacement. we did like the hotel staff, but for the same money I could have stayed at a nicer property in Naples.

The hotel calls itself a 4 star property. The facilities were nice enough but our room was closer to what I'd expect from a 2 or 3 star property. It looked like it hadn't been updated in about 20 years. Maybe they gave us this room because we got such a cheap rate? I don't know, but I'm glad I didn't pay more. This hotel was a nice surprise - clean and roomy. We booked a family quad room and were assigned a two room Jr. suite on the "A" Floor - a mezzanine floor that, from what we could tell, is a floor with only small conference rooms and this guest room. Our accommodations had two very large rooms and a walk in closet (we didn't use it as it - and not the […] room - had a very strong smell of stale smoke. We are non-smokers, and only staying one night, so just mentioning this as it factored into the 3 cleanliness and condition ratings. The room itself was clean.). There was more than enough of room. It is on a very busy street directly across from the train station, but we heard very little street noise. The breakfast that was included was nice and more than expected too. Hotel is excellent. Room and bathroom like a US Ramada. Good views from room in all directions as long as you look beyond the local neighborhood. The hotel is conveniently located 1.5 blocks from the train station. If you use Naples as a base, this is not bad: the hotel is across the street from the metro station that takes you to Pompei and Sorrento, and a block from the bus stop to go to the pier for taking the boat to Capri. This was the nicest hotel we stayed at while in Italy. It was a large room with a beautiful large bathroom. The furnishings were beautiful and the price was very affordable. It was one block from the train station in Naples, so perfect for our trip from Rome to Pompeii. Definitely would return again if I were in Naples.

Our first trip to Naples was brilliant based on this hotel. The city is chaotic, dirty, surprising, and a comfortable hotel is needed. The location was around the corner from main terminal and another local train is right outside the front door of the hotel. This is convenient for day trips to Pompeii, etc. The cross streets however don't have a safe […] feel to them and don't have many services. Because of this, the hotel works really hard to make your stay pleasant and worth it. Breakfast is incredible, both European and Western styles, lots to choose from, never running short of anything. Great hotel in a terrible area near Napoli Centrale. I expected the area to be better since it's the gateway to their city. Terrible area. I couldn't even walk with my luggage thru the streets since they don't have sidewalks in this area. The Hotel Ramada Naples is conveniently located near the Naples railway station. The rooms are clean, the service is excellent, and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Naples is a great base of operations for visits to the archaeological sites at Pompeii, Herculaneum and other fascinating places, and this hotel is convenient to the train station. The station area is not so impressive in Naples, and there is a big pile of trash next to the hotel. The hotel itself is quite clean large, espeically the bathroom. Plus, AC works great and it can be really cold in the room. Your stay at the hotel will probably be a good one, but the surrounding neighborhood is not the type to take a walk. Yet, you might find that having the train station a block away (and the station to Pompey even closer, maybe 50 meters away) is worth not being in a nice part of town.

The Naples Ramada is very close to the Rail Station. There was construction on the road in front while there. A lot of trash was on the street between the station and hotel, but was mostly cleaned up our last night there. The hotel was like new inside. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very convenient location for those travelling to/from Sorrento, as its directly accross the street from the train exit, and only a less than 10 minute walk from the main train terminal with the eurostar trains. The neighborhood was disgusting, the smells, the garbage, it was just filthy. We walked 10 minutes to find a clean street […] and trattoria for dinner as we were exhausted from travelling, and it was fine. The hotel itself was good, easy check in and very large rooms. The bathroom had a broken shower head but we didn't push the matter with the front the desk as we were only there overnight. Breakfast was your typical italian continental breakfast. We had no issues at all with the hotel but would definitely not recommend it for those holiday-ing in Naples... we'd advise to move far into the city and away from the Train Termini neighborhood if you are going to be there for more than 1 night. This hotel was great! Now the area around the hotel is seedy, but if you are familiar at all with Naples if isn't the cleanest, nicest place. (sorry it's true) However, that being said the Hotel was wonderful. The staff was very helpful. Room was spotless everyday, and breakfast was good. The hotel was also ideal for getting around. Directly across […] the street is the train to Sorrento, Herculaneum and Pompeii. The train to Rome is a 5 minute walk and the Metro is right below it. We used all these things quite easily and we were a couple of middle-aged Americans. We found a Ristorante we loved downtown by the train station with Pizza Margherita for 4 Euros. Bellisima. a very good location right near to the train station. Neighbourhood looks not so nice, rundown with the usual conmen and pickpockets but it's safe for tourists. Hotel rooms are all fine- standard 4 star, clean, good facilities, a kind of typical conference style hotel. Could probably do with an update.
