The hotel is in a great location. Great sushi in the hotel! A quick cab ride to great restaurants on Ocean Drive. Walk to th Seti or Ritz. Great shopping & close to the beach. The staff is very friendly & helpful. The room is sparse and no king bed but a comfortable queen. Noise level at 5am is crazy due to the great location but people outside dissapate […] quickly. Clean, friendly staff, great free continental breakfast, one block from beach, near Lincoln Rd and other great hotels to visit. Room was modern and had a edge to it. I woiuld definitely go back and definitely recommend this hotel.

My husband and I booked this room for the weekend for a wedding we were attending. It was my first time in South Beach and the reviews seemed good. We have stayed in a lot of hotels and this by far was the smallest room I have ever seen. Our first room was the size of a closet with three white cement walls... I was so overwhelmed that I had to call […] the front desk to ask for a different room. Luckily they gave us an accessible room which was slightly bigger and the bathroom was three times the size... in that case they were very accommodating. The bed is horrible and they didn't clean our room until about 7pm. Otherwise, the hotel is in a great location and very clean. The breakfast is small but good quality. Great location at South Beach away from traffic on Ocean Drive, but close enough to walk there easily as well as Lincoln Mall. Rooms were smallish but clean and had all the basics. Nice lobby....hallways outside rooms were a little run down. Staff very friendly and helpful (the attendant printed my boarding passes for me while I waited). Excellent continental breakfast. No pool, but very close to the beach with chair rentals available. I would definitely caution people when thinking about booking this hotel. The photos online are great, however this is not the condition the hotel is in. There is only valet parking in which the guys drive your vehicle like a race car. They still have a smoking floor...and dont tell you this till they put you in the room. I didnt even have a trashcan, not all the lights worked and the TV was set to an ungodly volume level. Not to mention the bed felt like you were sleeping on the concrete floors and you heard everything going outside as if you were there....even while being on the 4th floor, away from the beach and main street. Stayed at the hotel for a convention. Great service. I arrived at the hotel early after taking a red eye flight and was allowed to check in early! The breakfast was wonderful. The room decoration was also very creative and chic. Loved the stay and would stay there again for future trips.

Even though it is not a 5 Star hotel, then they do all their best. It is a cosy hotel where the staff is friendly and helpfull. The free breakfast and free wifi are a super addition to the already cheap stay at this Beach house hotel. Would surely come back.

Although the room was "no-frills," the lobby and amenities were nice. The parisian breakfast is quite lovely, and the sundeck was a very nice place to sit to enjoy the weather. Bond street sushi (downstairs restaurant) was yummy if a little pricy. Be aware they do include tip in your bill. Very nice overall experience without needing a 2nd mortgage to stay here. Nothing but good things to say. Room was sparsely furnished, but chic in the art-deco style of the neighborhood... It was clean and comfortable. There was a downstairs restaurant that was cool, and rooftop activities for guests. The front desk staff was great, there was very-welcome […] valet parking, and there was a complimentary "Parisian" breakfast (breads/cereals/etc). It was a little farther from the South Beach beachfront dining/drinking hub than I would have liked, but it was walkable, safe, and on a quiet street. Excellent small hotel with great location on 20th & Collins near everything. It's just a few meters from the beach. Rooms are neat and simple but very clean. Rates are relatively inexpensive compared to similar hotels in the neighborhood, so you get good value for your money. You'll like this place. I will definitely return.

Townhouse is one of the best hotels in South Beach considering the price you pay. 20th st where it's located, has direct access to the beach. It is a small, relatively quite hotel with a very nice atmosphere. The rooms are extremely clean and neat, not luxurious and the bathrooms are small, nonetheless, they have everything you need, very confortable […] beds, flat TV, free wi-fi, a decent closet, free breakfast, etc. You can rent bikes or walk to Lincoln Rd or Espanyola Way. Well I have to start by saying I think this was more of an upscale Hostel than Hotel.... which probably explained why it appeared to be a student and European favorite. The room was clean (and smelled of strong cleaning products to prove it) and had quite enough space, the bathroom however was TINY. Way too small for 2 girls to get ready. The vallet service took a realllllllly long time but the front desk was friendly and helpful. One of major downfalls is that come 7:30am it was impossible to get any sleep...loudest hotel EVER! There may have been construction outside with all the large trucks, dumping noises, and beeping (backing up trucks) that went on for 4 hrs in the morning. The walls and ceilings are so thin you hear everyone who gets up to go to the bathroom or anyone down below getting coffee or ice in the kitchen. Literally I was surrounded by noise! Fine if you are completely passed out, but if you plan on sleeping past 7:30am after a night out til 3-5am, I might re-think this place. Another pro though was the cute little rooftop bar/lounge. The Townhouse has all the elements to be really cool but they just miss the mark in several areas. All in all the service was friendly but poor. The front desk didnt follow up or forgot mutliple requests throughout or stay. Breakfast felt very budget and supplies were always low. No one seemed ot consider the details from the vallet to housekeeping […] to the front desk. Our room was cleaned but left without towels one day then the glasses were forgotten another day. The deck happy hour was supposed to run Thursday to Satruday but just so happened the week we were there they decided to stop Thursdays so we didnt get a chance to experience it. The hotel is located in a great spot. It was very quiet even though there is a bunch of action all around you. The beach was easy to get to. I wish the top floor stayed open later than it did, because that is a very relaxing spot on the rooftop. The room was clean. The hotel was a reasonable price for what we got, overall very pleased.

Just a short walk to the beach, no more than 4 minutes. Our view from the room was BEAUTIFUL with a view of the ocean. The hotel room was very minimalist, yet with everything you need. Bed was comfortable and the shower head is one of those rain shower heads...yes, please! There's a nice breakfast bar in the morning and a relaxing room with tables and […] chairs for everyone to sit end enjoy. Within walking distance of Espanola Way where you can find delicious restaurants. On Espanola Way, there's an Italian restaurant on the right-hand side (can't recall its name) but there's an older man who stands outside wearing a fabulous costume. You won't be able to miss it! The staff is a little wacky but it's all a part of the experience and is great fun. The only downside, our TV screen wasn't working. We could hear volume but couldn't see anything. Unfortunately, the mechanic had already gone home for the day so we weren't able to watch any TV and the hotel was completely booked so no other rooms were available. Walking distance to Collins Avenue and Lincoln Road shopping and restaurants, this hotel is a half-block to the beach. Its rooftop deck is great for sunbathing. Had such a great time. Breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and surprisingly quiet for South Beach. We loved the easy walk to the beach and the staff was incredible. Always eager to help and so lovely. Definitely staying here again!

The greeting by the friendly and helpful bell boy was a great beginning of what was an excellent stay at the Townhouse Hotel. Close to the beach, Lincoln Mall we could leave the car and walk everywhere. Our room was spacious and very clean. Only complaint was the cramped pantry for breakfast. But overall would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Me and my friend stayed at the Townhouse Hotel for four nights in december 2010 and we had a great experience. The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and so was the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was served in the lobby every morning which was really convenient and there's a great sushi bar, Bond St, in the basement. The place is clean, the staff is nice, the rooms have what you need. If you're going to party and stay up all night and are looking for a decent, clean, close place to stay without having to spend over $130 bucks a night, this is a good place. I am having to replace an ipod which was taken from my room by hotel staff, no-one else was in my room the […] whole time. But overall I would recommend this place. My case probably was an isolated incident. It's a super clean hotel, and it's fairly close to all of the clubs, bars, restaurants your going to need. MAKE SURE you don't get a room facing Collin's Avenue unless you plan on passing out drunk everynight after 4am, because at least on the weekends they honk horns and scream like crazy on that street ALL NIGHT. this is the 2nd time I have stayed at the Townhouse. The 1st time was last sept 2009 and the roof top deck was under construction, this time is was complete and was empty which was nice, quick walk to the beach and lincoln shops.

This hotel is in a great location, right near the beach (though there is another hotel directly in front of it so you can't see the beach from your room, this was unexpected), a few blocks north of Lincoln road and everything else in SoBe. When you walk in, it's very white and clean looking. The hotel is older and it is quite noticeable when you get […] to your room (or even just ride the elevator and you'll see). The room we had was a little bigger than the cheapest one they offer I believe, but it was still pretty small, which was ok since we didn't plan to be in there much. The carpet in the halls is pretty dirty, luckily (or unluckily depending on how you look at it) there is no carpet in the rooms except a small rug under the end of the bed that was kind of dirty as well. The cement floor in our room had many large cracks in it. The furniture was simple which is fine, but the bed was awful! Our backs were hurting the whole time, the mattress is the most thin I've ever seen and the wood platform it was on is very rickety. The bathroom is quite small and the shower is very old and it shows, we wore sandals to shower because it didn't look so good in there. You do have a small fridge in the closet, but it's pretty small, but nice to keep water cold, not so good for leftovers, plus there is no microwave. The breakfast area is way, way too small! It's like they put a couple coffee makers, sink and cabinets in a closet, it's definitely like a walk in pantry so in the morning it gets pretty crowded and you may have to wait a bit before you can squeeze in to get your food. The breakfast was ok, nothing fancy but still decent, they offer muffins, croissants, bagels, hard boiled eggs, coffee, espresso and orange juice. The roof top lounge is neat, you get a good view of the city up there. The Bond St Lounge (restaurant downstairs) is a neat little sushi place that we'd been to before and we went again this time. After a month long stay in Costa Rica, I flew back into Miami and spent three nights at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the staff was helpful, and the hotel decor was awesome. The room had a white and red theme that was very modern and it was the perfect size for two people. I had a great experience with the front […] desk staff, they called and booked reservations for me and my sister on two occasions with no trouble at all. The proximity to the beach was great and the hotel offered complimentary beach towels. Not to mention this hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast that consisted of coffee, orange juice, boiled eggs, muffins,and bagels. Breakfast was one less expense I didn't have to worry about during my weekend in Miami. The hotel also offers a good rate to rent their bikes which my sister and I took advantage of to go down the board walk and over to Ocean Dr. The only negative I can think of is the street construction work that happened to be going on during my stay there.
