"Great for the Price"
Don't expect to be blown away by this hotel, but for what I needed it was perfect. Was staying by myself so only one bed in the room and the room was very spacious. Everything appeared to be updated and I didn't have any issues. The only concern I had was that after 11 pm the main lobby closes and you have to enter through either of the side doors. […] The side entrance near my room was extremely dark at night and being a female, I did not feel safe. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would easily stay here again if in Topeka again. Can't beat the price! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Enjoyed everything about this stay! They was in the process of redoing the floor in the pool but still made it accessable!Genuine Expedia guest review
I booked this hotel for a short business trip. The hotel was well rated and inexpensive. Upon arrival I was treated as an old frined. The room, gym, pool and buildong are in good condition and clean. The breakfast is better than average for a hotel in this price range. in myopinion this is the best hotel for the money in Topeka. Great job!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best Western Topeka Inn & Suites"
This is a very nice hotel. My only suggestion is that they get softer beds. The pool and hot tub are great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Topeka Best Western"
It was raining when we arrived but could not park under the awning to check in as the clerks husband and kids were in the lobby playing on the computer. Room was noisy and they did not refill the milk during breakfastGenuine Expedia guest review
"great place to stop for a night."
it was a great stay. Right off the highway. I also liked the breakfast it hadd waffles, eggs, bagels etc. I did not get to use the hot tub it was closed by the time we got there other than that a great cheap place to stay if your passing through.Genuine Expedia guest review
"bed was as hard as a rock"
The hotel itself isn't bad, just old and what you would probably expect for the price. The beds were very uncomfortable- I didn't sleep well. The breakfast was basically cereal and your typical toast/ pasteries, cheap coffee products ( I pretty much always stop somewhere else for a decent cup). All in all, I would've been satisfied except for that awful […] bed! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best Western Topeka Inn"
Everything was wonderful. However, our room was never made up after our first night. Beds were unmade and dirty towels were not picked up. We were short on washcloths because of this. The complimentary breakfasts were very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent in all respects"
We stayed in this hotel & were very impressed with it. The breakfast was the best of any of the 10 hotels we stayed in on our cross-country trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"GREAT except for....."
The hotel and staff were great! It was very clean. The ONLY complaint is: The bed was VERY HARD...firm wouldn't touch the description of the mattress!! I have been camping, slept on the ground and the ground was softer! Seriously!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I decided to stay in Topeka because all of the hotels in Manhattan, Kansas were sold out due to the Kansas State season opener that my sister and I were attending on September 3rd. When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly lady and were checked in a matter of minutes. The only downside to the hotel is that it does not have elevators and you have […] to take the stairs. The room was clean and cold which is great considering we had just drove up from Texas. The room was very quiet and even though our room faced the street we did not hear any street noise which was awesome. The breakfast was okay and the price of the room was great. Overall, an excellent stay!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Great place to stay for the cost! Everything looked good and was good. Appreciated the continential breakfast with many choices (was so much better than a higher price competitor was).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Our 3 night stay"
The hotel was a decent place to stay. It was based on older wood construction and not the new concrete design, so the noise of people walking down the hall may have been a little louder than the others. But overall not bad. The location was fine. It was not really close to anything but Topeka is such a small town it does not matter. You can drive 5-10 […] minutes and be where you need to be. It is a fine cheap hotel. I would stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Would stay again"

Nice hotel. We had a King/non-smoking room on second floor. Only disadvantage was no elevator. This may be a problem for some. Departed before breakfast was served. Room clean. Bed comfortable. Overall a good deal.
"Bed VERY uncomfortable "
08/20/14 Tracy S College Station, Texas, United States
I was unable to get on TA to check out hotels in the area so I took a chance & went to the best Western website and made my reservation. Nowhere on the site did it say there was no elevator. I arrived and found I had been given a second floor room. Due to disability this was not going to be possible without an elevator. When I let the clerk know this she hautily asked if I had specified reservation that I needed a first floor room. I asked how I would know to do that since their website didn't specify no elevator was available. Site assigned me a downstairs room which cost $10 more. I pointed out that this was wrong given the cirrhosis but she didn't appear to care. I was so exhausted after driving 9+ hours and couldn't face hunting all over town for a hotel so I ended up paying the extra money, even though it wasn't in my budget. Not happy! To top that of the bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast was nothing to be excited about. I didn't find anything worth eating. I should've just slept in my car. I won't be returning here. It got a star for the room being clean.
"Expensive for what you get"
08/17/14 Judy M Falls City
Breakfast only lasts until 9:00 a.m. every day of the week. There is no elevator. We had asked for a ground floor room if possible, but none were available. Kleenex box had only a couple kleenexes in it, so I had to go down to get another box. Free bottled water was available, but I had to go down and ask for that, also.
"Clean Room, but smelled like stale smoke and it was a NON smoking room"
08/16/14 Lori T
Room was clean. However it was a non smoking room but had a stale cigarette smell to it. Breakfast the next morning was so/so. Not enough space for everyone to sit to eat in their dining area. Some items weren't warm. However, it is a nice, clean motel.
"Great stay quiet & clean!"
08/13/14 Gina B Peoria, Illinois, United States
Our stay in Topeka was excellent! Staff was friendly and the room was very clean and it was also very quiet there unlike other hotels we have stayed at. Breakfast there is served from 6 am until 9 am they had biscuits & gravy, eggs sausage, muffins, bagels, waffles, yogurt, cereals and a few other things were available. Everything was very tasty and hot.
"Nice Hotel for Family"
08/11/14 Sarah T Wichita, Kansas, United States
The hotel was nice, the rooms were large and comfortable and I like that the vanity was outside of the actual bathroom, there were several mirrors which help when you have a teenager also trying to get ready in the morning. The pool was COLD! My younger kids swam in the hot tub instead because of how cold the pool was.
"Comfortable place to sleep"
08/11/14 Kristine B Austin, Texas
No complaints - rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and a free breakfast. It was very reasonable at $80 a night. Anyone expecting a 4-star luxury resort will be disappointed, but we had realistic expectations going in and weren't disappointed. I would recommend a top floor as we did because the walls and floors are pretty thin, but because we chose top floor didn't hear anyone above us... just the people next door walking around and leaving / closing door. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel has a well-suited floor plan with easy access from each end of the parking lot or the center lobby entrance. The indoor pool, ice machine and breakfast area is located close to the check-in counter.
"Beware of the sofa bed!"
07/29/14 Foggytravelers Blackwell, Oklahoma
Our group of 6 stayed here, excited we could all stay in one room. But for us on the sofa bed it was the worst night of sleep. The bars under the bed were completely bent, so the mattress was like a taco. After hours of trying to get to sleep, we opted to put the mattress on the floor. That was marginally better, but the mattress was thin and you could feel all the springs. It was horrible. We took pics of the broken bed and showed the staff at the front desk, but only got an "I'm sorry" with a blank stare. Couldn't give us a discount because we'd received a discount when we booked our room. What??!! So we got a discount for a problem we didn't know we were going to have. Besides that ordeal the room was clean and sleeps 4 people nicely. If I were you, I'd avoid the sofa bed. Or at least check it out before you commit to the room.
Good staff. Gave us an upgrade to a suite which was really nice for us. Breakfast was unbelievably good with eggs, biscuits, juices, waffles, and more. Very nice! No Elevator, which was not the greatest, but gave us some exercise.
