The staff were superb including tireless assistance as I dealt with a flat tire on a rental car several miles away from them. They handled getting the breakdown service to me when my cell couldn't reach them. On the outside it looks cold and uninviting, but that changes when you go inside. You are welcomed with a warm greeting from front desk staff, check in is easy. Rooms are very well presented and cleaned daily, resturant is relaxed and servers are good and treat you as a person not an hotel guest. On the down side, in room entertainment, TV's need to […] be up graded to flat screen. Bar needs to look more like a bar and not a train station waiting room, more tv's better seating, a fresh lick of paint. Outside smoking area should be moved away from the front door, too much smoke blows into lobby when doors are open. Overall a good place to stay. Read more

For the price the hotel provided good quality , staff were very helpful and seemed to care about the guests. Slight negative points were only on lift in operation and the internet connection which is only available on the reception area was intermitent

This hotel is convenient to the Glasgow airport but that is all I can say about it. The carpet in the room looked so grubby I didn't want to walk on it. The faucet in the bathroom dripped and the tub had a green residue under the faucet that indicated a former leak.

I loved this hotel. Everyone was so friendly! Food was good, staff was super friendly and helpful the only downfall is its a bit of a walk to the bus stop and then the bus is an hour long ride to Glasgow. Its not terrible but if your in a hurry and you don't have much money for a cab it can be a inconvenience.

This is a busy hotel mainly serving Glasgow airport. It is well used, a little beat up here and there. But the staff is super friendly and helpful. Our 2nd room was clean and comfortable, bathroom sparkling. 1st room was smoked in, but the front desk switched us immediately. Front desk also helpful with printing our boarding passes. The good service can't overcome the run down state of this hotel. Throw in a 2.a.m. fire alarm, and I cannot recommend this joint to anybody. This was my only downer on an otherwise wonderful trip to Scotland.

The hotel staff was very accomodating. The hotel is under some renovation so some areas do not show well. Located on the river Clyde but bus transport is nearby. Free parking is a plus.

My room was on the second floor (floor 1 in European terms). As I exited the elevator, I noticed that the carpet was threadbare. My room was right off the elevator lobby. It was comfortable and clean, but nothing could make up for the lack of maintenance in the dingy hallway. The location sucks if you don't have transportation. In order to get to a […] store, you have to walk past the dumpster to the riverside path, and it's about a 15-minute walk to the store. But it closes at 7, so you better get there early. One of the nicest motel rooms we've ever stayed in. The only caveat, the mattress was uncomfortable. You sleep on a box spring, there is no mattress. This may be a Scottish thing, as, we encountered this arrangement at other Scottish B&Bs. Bathroom was fabulous, all white tiles floor to ceiling, even a functional towel warmer. Super clean, also. The room had a really nice view of the river, which, runs next to the motel. There's a nice paved walkway along the river. The motel's hallways appear to be next to be renovated, they are very grungy - very different from the rooms themselves.Some of the reviews were mixed on the Erskine Bridge Motel, we however, were very happy with it, as, were our travel partners who stayed in another room. We had no problems with anything in the rooms, everything worked great. Even the toilet worked better than most UK toilets. We always stay here going on holiday if we have an early or late flight. Close to airport and there's a courtesey bus to take us to and from airport. Hotel is being refurbished at the moment. Staff all very friendly. Food is good. Always enjoy our time at Erskine..................look at it as part of our holiday!!

This hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and could be wonderful if it was updated. It is a large 6-storey hotel with only 2 small elevators. It is famous for hosting European bus tours so you could be waiting a long time for an elevator. The shower pressure is almost non-existent. We had two rooms on the 4th floor and the shower was barely […] a trickle in either room. The carpets in the main areas badly need renewed and look worn. The bar and lobby areas look sparse at best. Service was good and the location is great. If you are looking for a sightseeing base this is highly remmended just don't look too closely at the decor. Read more

Excellent, gym could do with more equipments and more space, currently split on two seperate floors! Was not able to control the heating in the room and water not hot in shower. Other wise, a relaxing and comfprtable stay. Will deffinetly visit again.

First stay at The Erskine and was impressed by the level of service for the price offered on the Internet. We had 50 friends stay here too to attend our wedding at Mar Hall. Rooms are a bit hit and miss in terms of size, condition and location so do look at a few options before settling. Mine was a decent size, but next to something noisy (air con units?) […] but was fine. Breakfast is good, staff lovely and facilities good too. Nice food in the bar too. We always enjoy our stay at this hotel. The staff are friendly, hospitable, efficient and obliging. Any room we have stayed in has been very comfortable and spotlessly clean especially the bathroom. This time we were surprised by the fact that when we went down to dinner, the restuarant was closed but we hadn't been informed. The hotel is an established property that over the years we have known it has been plush/luxury - poor/run down. We were pleased to report the hotel was absolutely fine. It is no 5* luxury, old telly, garish corridors and noisey lifts but all in all, the food was good, drinks reasonably priced and the service friendly.

Very good hotel. Downside was we chose hotel for pool facilities and the pool was too cold to swim in for two of the days of our short break. It was not the fact that it happened it was the fact that were no notices or we weren't told before we went in the pool. We will probably look at other hotels in the area with pool facilities.

Chose the hotel for its reasonable price and proximity to the airport. I remember it from the hey day in the 70's. It is clearly struggling, but on the whole, trying. The leisure suite needs serious attention and just looks grubby throughout. Room was adequate and with a bit of TLC the hotel should be able to shine again given where it is.
