Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.
Location.
Situated in Vancouver, Riviera Hotel is close to Roedde House Museum, Robson Street, and Stanley Park. Also nearby are Granville Island Public Market and Canada Place.
Hotel Features.
In addition to laundry facilities and complimentary newspapers in the lobby, Riviera Hotel features an elevator (lift). The staff can arrange business services and currency exchange.
Guestrooms.
Rooms open to balconies. The 41 guestrooms at Riviera Hotel include coffee/tea makers and makeup/shaving mirrors. Rooms have dial-up Internet access. Televisions are equipped with satellite channels.
