"Perfect end to London Visit"
We stayed there as we had an early flight the next morning and didn't want the stress of getting out of London during rush hour. Hotel was clean and shuttle was easy. Note a taxi should cost about £10 there and back the black cabs will try and charge £25 each way! Bus is easy and a return is £8 per personGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location before flight."
I stayed one night before my flight back to the states. All was good, except wi-fi is free for 30 min only. There isn't much to do, as the hotel is near the airport (LHR). But the room was clean and comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"cold room, scratchy, cheap linen, unpalatable food"
I was miserably cold and uncomfortable at the Holiday Inn - I woiuld describe my stay as a "disaster."No extra blankets provided, cold room, unresponsive thermostat, rough/scratchy counterpane - nothing pleasant at all about this stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"One N ight Stay for flight at Heathrow"
I took a private car service and it was a bit difficult to find, but we finally got there. The staff were very helpful and suggested I take a taxi in the morning rather than the hotel shuttle to the airport as I had 3 cases and the trip's entirety could take up to 20 mintues. So I did. Hotel restuarant was adequate, staff very attentitveGenuine Hotels.com guest review

My only complaint was that the kitchen was suppose to be open till 10 AM and I went diwn for Breakfast at 9:40 and they said they were closing up but I could get sething at the Bar. Not where I wanted to have breakfast. If they advertise 10 AM they should serve till 10 AMGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the airport, but that's all"
The room was fine. The showerhead broke, but the office responded immediately and had me change rooms and they were going to give me a drink, but then comped my dinner. The road to the hotel is a single lane. There is nowhere to walk except to the bus stop.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is convenient to London Heathrow. You can take a hotel hop bus each way and they run often. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are large. The best part is the wonderful hotel staff. The hotel is a little outdated but very clean and well kept. I would recommend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I'll do it again"
The place is nice and clean. It has TV and free internet for 30 minutes only. It takes about 15 minutes to and from Heathrow airport by the shuttle. The only bad thing is there is no places to eat around the hotel, I mean walking diastase. I did not try the food at the hotel because it was expensive, about 22 pounds/ person for dinner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfectly Adequate Business Hotel near LHR"
Hotel was great to overnight at LHR. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can walk to pub and nearby Indian restaurant. Hotel pub also good, but limited menu. Will cost $13 by bus RT to get there and back from Terminals, though ($50 by black cab, so take the Hoppa Bus).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Airport but inconsistent service"
Great location near the airport. The Hotel Hoppa bus serves this location from all the terminals at Heathrow for a small fee. Give yourself at least 30 minutes from hotel to airport as the bus will make several stops. The hotel itself is good, but with a few issues. It seems the Holiday Inn is another hotel that does not enjoy servicing customers from […] Hotels.com as they put you in the room furthest away from anything. I did not ask for a quiet room, nor did I ask for the handicap room. Room itself was decent. The handicap room has plenty of space (think room for a wheelchair), with several long red ropes to pull in case of an emergency. Food at the hotel is good. Service at the bar and restaurant is excellent, they try their best to serve you. Front Desk staff was inconsistent. Some people there are extremely helpful, others were just robots reading some script back to you. I would advise talking with someone else if you see the word "Trainee" on their nametag. It was clean and modern. Very easy with shuttle ride to airport for a small fee. Just make sure to allow time to stop at 2-3 other hotels on the way to the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for a quick overnight at the airport"
I really liked staying at the Holiday Inn. It's easy to get back and forth to the Airport by using the HOPA or bus shuttle. They have a buffet for a good price which is good enough to not go out of the hotel during your stay. The rooms are clean, big, with a couple of bag tables. This is useful to prepare your bags before leaving to the airport. It […] takes around 35 minutes to get to the airport from this hotel by using the bus shuttle. We stayed here just overnight for an early flight. The hotel is was really close to the airport(just 2 bus stops away). This hotel is nothing fancy but it works. Staff was friendly, the rooms are basic and it's a bit of a walk for any place to eat but for the price I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not quite an "airport" hotel."
I stayed here overnight because I had an early flight from Heathrow. It was all one expects from a Holiday Inn, clean, comfortable, a great shower. But I had two issues. First is probably applicable to a small number of people: Though the hotel is equipped with a hearing loop for people with hearing loss, the man at the desk had no idea what it was […] or how to use it. Second, I expect an "airport hotel" to have direct and easy access to the hotel. Access from this Holiday Inn is by public bus, which comes about every half hour and cost 4 pounds, about $6. The ride was five minutes, door to door. Considering the price of the hotel, which I"m not aloud to post here, I think they could provide an airport shuttle. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the airport"
I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport, and we could catch the bus line or the tube very conveniently. There's a (free) bus stop right outside the hotel, line U3 will take you directly to the airport to catch another bus line or the tube. The room was comfortable, food tasty and staff incredibly helpful and friendly. We never heard so […] much as a peep coming in through the windows either, no noise at all! When we first got there the only elevator was not working, carring luggage up 4 floors was not enjoyable. We really dislike duvettes which seem to be more popular where ever we go. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was excellent.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very close to Heathrow"
This hotel worked well for us in April and September of this year (2013) when we arrived at 7 or 8 local time and booked rooms for day use. It is about 10 min by cab from the airport (costing 10 pounds) or 20 min by bus (don't know the cost). The breakfast buffet was reasonable at 13.50 pounds and had everything you'd want. Dinner was fine, too. The […] dining room is open late. This place seems to be popular, and I can see how it would be perfect for a business traveler. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Close to Heathrow (T1-T3)"
Once I found the hotel, it was a comfortable and easy place to stay for an early flight from Heathrow. Decent bar/restaurant. Wifi only free for 30 minutes. However, if you are driving there, be sure you have exact directions, as the roads around the airport are tricky. (And don't be confused by the 3 other Holiday Inns in the area). "Too many Holiday Inns."
My bad experience was not so much with the hotel but with the fact that there are several Holiday Inns at the airport. My hotel address was nearly the same as another so the taxi which cost me about $20 dropped me at the wrong hotel. It cost me another $25 to get another taxi to the correct hotel. The first Holiday Inn said this happens at least 10 […] or 15 times each day !!!!! Somehow, Holiday Inn needs to figure out a way to correct this problem. They just told me it was a taxi problem and not their problem. Perhaps Expedia could warn those who booked this hotel that the address is nearly the same as another. I showed the taxi driver the address on my confirmation print out but he and many others apparently still don't know the difference. Perhaps you could use your influence to get Holiday Inn to somehow differentiate the hotels by naming them differently. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Hard beds and rude desk lady"
I have always loved staying at Holiday Inns, but out of all that I have stayed at, this one was by far my least favorite. The bed was uncomfortable. The room design was nice and roomy by even US standards tho. However, when I went to check out (no charges to room, I just needed to give my keys to the desk), one lady was explaining the entire town of […] London to an elderly man and the other was just standing around. I had a airport shuttle waiting for me and asked nicely if I could just leave my keys. The busy lady told me to wait. I told her I was holding up the shuttle and just needed to leave my keys. The other lady finally comes over but wants me to come with her while she checks me out of my room. Um, no. I had no charges to my room, had stayed one night, had already explained this and the bus driver was waiting next to me telling all of us he had to go. What happened to express checkout or even just customer service? I just walked out. They can figure it out. Ridiculous. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location, wonderful service, comfortable bed"
I was stuck at Heathrow for 8 hrs during a change between a BA and AA flight. I took a cab to the hotel- it was 15 pounds plus a tip. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfy. The bed had lots of pillows of two different types - soft and firm (they were marked). I am so glad I booked the hotel - it was worth it for the 6 hrs of sleep […] I got. The HOPA bus to the terminals was only 5 pounds - it was great, fast and easy. You can buy a ticket on a machine in the lobby or pay the driver. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel close to Heathrow Airport"
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and It was a nice experience. Hotel has double windows so I didn't hear any noise from the street or the airport. Getting from the airport to the hotel was easy and free of charge, taking the U3 bus from the Central Bus Station located in terminal 1,2 and 3. The bus stops about a block from the hotel. Staff was nice […] and friendly and very courteous. The hotel has a restaurant or if you prefer there are a few restaurants nearby as well as a small store were you can buy food. "Heathrow Airport Holiday Inn - nice but no frills"
The overall experience here at the Holiday Inn Hearthrow was good - however, you pay for every "extra". The staff was helpful, courteous, and business-like. Breakfast not included and VERY expensive. "Good place for a layover"
Plus Side: The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space. No issues with aircraft noise. The hotel is within the Heathrow "freeflow" zone so city buses to the airport and Hatton Cross tube station are free - there is a bus stop a few steps from the hotel door. If visiting London again I might stay here and "commute" to the city which could […] very well be cheaper and would certainly be more comfortable than a tiny overpriced Central London hotel room. Minus side: The hotel is right across from the airfield in a somewhat "sterile" neighborhood. Wireless internet is not free - except for 30 minutes at a useless slow bitrate.
