"Convenient airport hotel"
The hotel is conveniently located close tho Heathrow airport. I would expect more value for the money; they charge extra for parking and breakfast. The hotel shuttle is not for free either.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to both airport and rental car return."
Clean, comfortable and quiet room and although facing both road and airport there was no noise of any consequence.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel. Close to the airport!"
Staff very friendly and efficient! Was kind enough to let us check in early!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, close to airport with free transportat"
Reception staff was not very courteous. Internet was not very good.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Good for early morning flights"
Best take a cab instead of the Hoppa bus. 5 minutes versus 25! Cheap on Wi-Fi but otherwise more than expected.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Its very close to the airport. They also offered us early check in so it worked out fine.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convient to airport"
We stayed there after a long flight before traveling on and the friendly staff and comfortable room was just what we needed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fabulous place for layover!"
While I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get to see London during my layover, my staff at the Holiday Inn made it better. The service was wonderful, the room was clean and modern, and the shuttle made things easier. I would recommend this hotel if you have an overnight layover.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel close to the airport"
Nice hotel, close to the airport and close to transportation to downtown. Hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel had great services. Room was clean and well equipped.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, comfortable hotel but..."
The hotel room is large, comfortable, and clean. Reasonably priced, too. Like many others, we stayed overnight to catch the flight next morning, and many will do the same. Then, check the time for the shuttle service and do not rely on the hotel front or concierge. I cannot say every front staff or concierge will do the same, but our experience is rather […] fishy. The night we arrived, the hotel front staff told us that the shuttle service for each per on is 4 pounds, so the taxi will be better for us with a slightly higher price (10 pounds). We said that we are flying from the different terminals but he did not mention it will cost extra 4 pounds. And don't forget to have cash with you. If not, the concierge will charge 3 pounds for credit processing fee, and if you use the ATM machine in the hotel, it will charge 1.85 pounds for cash out. One more. I booked the breakfast, but the hotel front on the day we arrived told us that breakfast and room are only booked for one person and urged us to upgrade a room and buy another breakfast. We DID NOT and said a double room is just good enough for us. In the morning, we went for breakfast, and the hotel did not charge any. So I guess that the hotel front staff on that night is new and did not know the hotel business well yet, or just try to reap some pounds off from tourists! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Basic hotel close to heathrow"
If you need a place to sleep before going to heathrow, this hotel is totally adequate. However, don't expect any level of luxury, it is basic/standard in all regards. A taxi cost 13 pounds to terminal three, the hotel shuttle costs an extra 10 pounds.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient to airport"
Found the free heathrow bus service pretty much right to the hotel - simple and easy. Room was clean, hotel was nice, restaurant was good. Only complaint: very thin walls and loud water/heat system.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Expensive for what one gets"
First of all, it is an airport hotel. Expensive for a room that reminded me of a dorm room. No safe, open "closet", no courtesy van (it took :30 to ride the airport bus the short distance to the hotel since it stopped everywhere enroute - both ways!). There is a restaurant and the food was decent but costly. Not a place I would like to spend more than […] one night at. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Free Internet (sort-of)"
The advertised free internet is in my opinion misleading. It's only free for 30 min. Sad considering my stay at Holiday Inn in Oxford was free 24/7. If given an option, I'd choose a different hotel that had free really free, not just partially free.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to airport"
My stay was very nice. Would prefer a sheets to a duvet. Room was quite warm. Had to call the front desk to find out how to turn on lights, TV, etc. Room key card must in in slot by door. Receptionist who checked me in was very helpful and pleasant. Same when leaving. Will stay there again..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Near to Heathrow airport but..."
I stayed at this Holiday Inn because I had an early flight out of Heathrow the following morning. Nothing really against the hotel - its what you'd expect of an airport hotel - but getting to and from it is the issue. You are faced with a Hobson's choice of whether to take a cab from the airport which will cost you about 30 pounds each way or to take […] the "HoppaBus" which is only 4 pounds each way. Trouble is, finding the correct HoppaBus to take at the airport is difficult (the #4 serves Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and the #54 serves terminals 4 and 5) but, once you finally get on, be prepared for a 30 minute ride that stops at every hotel imaginable. The HoppaBus will pick you up at your hotel but only on a half-hour schedule so sometimes the bus is too full to accommodate everyone. Really a pain! I'd recommend staying somewhere along the Piccadilly Tube line (e.g. Earl's Court or Hammersmith) and getting going just a little bit earlier. You can have that one last night out in London and still make it to the airport without so much hassle. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"No Worry Hotel right near LHR"
Enjoyed it.. Fab location and 10 minutes from the car rental drop off. Would definitely returnGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Not as close to the actual airport as I thought or would have liked. And the shuttle bus cost 8 pounds to get to the terminal. I would think if they are located AT the airport that shuttle service is a MUST and would be included. Other wise why would people stay there except for the convenience ?Genuine Expedia guest review
abolutely great, including the location.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Perfect end to London Visit"
We stayed there as we had an early flight the next morning and didn't want the stress of getting out of London during rush hour. Hotel was clean and shuttle was easy. Note a taxi should cost about £10 there and back the black cabs will try and charge £25 each way! Bus is easy and a return is £8 per personGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location and Hotel!"
it was Very comfortable Hotel and Room, clean and close to the Airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location before flight."
I stayed one night before my flight back to the states. All was good, except wi-fi is free for 30 min only. There isn't much to do, as the hotel is near the airport (LHR). But the room was clean and comfortable.Genuine Expedia guest review
"cold room, scratchy, cheap linen, unpalatable food"
I was miserably cold and uncomfortable at the Holiday Inn - I woiuld describe my stay as a "disaster."No extra blankets provided, cold room, unresponsive thermostat, rough/scratchy counterpane - nothing pleasant at all about this stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice clean hotel. Convenient location if flying out of London heathrow airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"One N ight Stay for flight at Heathrow"
I took a private car service and it was a bit difficult to find, but we finally got there. The staff were very helpful and suggested I take a taxi in the morning rather than the hotel shuttle to the airport as I had 3 cases and the trip's entirety could take up to 20 mintues. So I did. Hotel restuarant was adequate, staff very attentitveGenuine Hotels.com guest review
worked wellGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My only complaint was that the kitchen was suppose to be open till 10 AM and I went diwn for Breakfast at 9:40 and they said they were closing up but I could get sething at the Bar. Not where I wanted to have breakfast. If they advertise 10 AM they should serve till 10 AMGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the airport, but that's all"
The room was fine. The showerhead broke, but the office responded immediately and had me change rooms and they were going to give me a drink, but then comped my dinner. The road to the hotel is a single lane. There is nowhere to walk except to the bus stop.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is convenient to London Heathrow. You can take a hotel hop bus each way and they run often. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The rooms are large. The best part is the wonderful hotel staff. The hotel is a little outdated but very clean and well kept. I would recommend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I'll do it again"
The place is nice and clean. It has TV and free internet for 30 minutes only. It takes about 15 minutes to and from Heathrow airport by the shuttle. The only bad thing is there is no places to eat around the hotel, I mean walking diastase. I did not try the food at the hotel because it was expensive, about 22 pounds/ person for dinner.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Perfectly Adequate Business Hotel near LHR"
Hotel was great to overnight at LHR. Staff very friendly and helpful. Can walk to pub and nearby Indian restaurant. Hotel pub also good, but limited menu. Will cost $13 by bus RT to get there and back from Terminals, though ($50 by black cab, so take the Hoppa Bus).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Airport but inconsistent service"
Great location near the airport. The Hotel Hoppa bus serves this location from all the terminals at Heathrow for a small fee. Give yourself at least 30 minutes from hotel to airport as the bus will make several stops. The hotel itself is good, but with a few issues. It seems the Holiday Inn is another hotel that does not enjoy servicing customers from […] Hotels.com as they put you in the room furthest away from anything. I did not ask for a quiet room, nor did I ask for the handicap room. Room itself was decent. The handicap room has plenty of space (think room for a wheelchair), with several long red ropes to pull in case of an emergency. Food at the hotel is good. Service at the bar and restaurant is excellent, they try their best to serve you. Front Desk staff was inconsistent. Some people there are extremely helpful, others were just robots reading some script back to you. I would advise talking with someone else if you see the word "Trainee" on their nametag. "Great for a quick overnight at the airport"
I really liked staying at the Holiday Inn. It's easy to get back and forth to the Airport by using the HOPA or bus shuttle. They have a buffet for a good price which is good enough to not go out of the hotel during your stay. The rooms are clean, big, with a couple of bag tables. This is useful to prepare your bags before leaving to the airport. It […] takes around 35 minutes to get to the airport from this hotel by using the bus shuttle. "close to terminals but difficult for a taxi"
very goodGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed here just overnight for an early flight. The hotel is was really close to the airport(just 2 bus stops away). This hotel is nothing fancy but it works. Staff was friendly, the rooms are basic and it's a bit of a walk for any place to eat but for the price I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not quite an "airport" hotel."
I stayed here overnight because I had an early flight from Heathrow. It was all one expects from a Holiday Inn, clean, comfortable, a great shower. But I had two issues. First is probably applicable to a small number of people: Though the hotel is equipped with a hearing loop for people with hearing loss, the man at the desk had no idea what it was […] or how to use it. Second, I expect an "airport hotel" to have direct and easy access to the hotel. Access from this Holiday Inn is by public bus, which comes about every half hour and cost 4 pounds, about $6. The ride was five minutes, door to door. Considering the price of the hotel, which I"m not aloud to post here, I think they could provide an airport shuttle. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Close to the airport"
I chose this hotel because it was close to the airport, and we could catch the bus line or the tube very conveniently. There's a (free) bus stop right outside the hotel, line U3 will take you directly to the airport to catch another bus line or the tube. The room was comfortable, food tasty and staff incredibly helpful and friendly. We never heard so […] much as a peep coming in through the windows either, no noise at all!
