"Overnight before flight"
Average hotel, room size is bigger than average EU hotel. Bed is very uncomfortable, woke up very soar. Conveniently located to airport. Good service, they provided a car at the price of taxi that took us to the airport for a very early flight and helped with luggage.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
No Airport pickup- hotel in need of complete remodeling- elevators too far from reception.- sanitary ware tiny/poor and low - night staff mediocre at best.Genuine Expedia guest review

this is sub standard to Holiday Inn Brand. room with no air conditioning was our first room. that night it didnt cool down, so front desk changed us to room 3110. As soon as they opened the door the smell of mold made it difficult to visit that room, much less stay there for the night. finally found room 3107, air conditioning worked fine...upon awakening, […] the room's pot for the en suite coffee maker didnt work. three things wrong with three rooms tried. "great location for LHR"
Clean, comfortable and ideally located for the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Hotel itself was very good. It was next to Heathrow and it was surprising that we could not hear planed during takeoff in the room that faced the airport. Not much to do there, but very convenient to get to the airport, which is the reason we stayed there. the staff wee very friendly and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Neither the front desk, nor the bar staff were very efficient, but the hotel was clean and in good repair.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Only worth it if you have to stay near the airport"
First the positives - Bar food was surprisingly good. Close to the airport for early flight the next day. Shuttle for 5 pounds per person runs every 30 minutes. Negatives - HORRIBLE beds. Felt like sleeping on my Gran's pull out sofa from 1965Genuine Expedia guest review
Response by Holiday Inn London Heathrow Dear Traveller, Thank You very much for choosing The Holiday Inn Heathrow Hotel, i am very sorry to hear about your unsatisfactory stay at our hotel. We are currently in the process of upgrading our bedding facilities and I am sorry to hear that you received a bedroom with one of the older beds, i do empathize with your situation and realize the importance of a comfortable bed. I am very pleased to hear you enjoyed our dining facilities and look forward on welcoming you back in the near future. Kind Regards Sharad Rekhi Food & Beverage Manager
"Excellent Airport Hotel"
A very good airport hotel stay. The hotel is so close to LHR you can see the airplanes taxiing and taking off but we never heard a peep. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable and the A/C functional. The hotel staff were particularly helpful during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good overnight stay"
I do not have any complaints for my overnight stay. The hotel is on the route 54 shuttle bus line to and from London Heathrow Airport. Budget for about a 30 minute ride. The common interior of the hotel was common but clean. It was kind of amusing (somewhat annoying) to pass through a series of fire doors to get to the elevator. My room was more modern […] than the common area and quite comfortable. One demerit, which may not be the fault of the hotel, was the tricky shower mechanism. I simply could not find the right mix to get a balanced flow of hot and cold water. It may be one of those new (or old) European inventions that Americans do not understand - LOL. I recommend the hotel for its proximity to the airport. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We arrived after a late night arriving flight, we had booked our room well in advance, but apparently the hotel filled up after a flight was cancelled at Heathrow. They ended up putting us in a room that is typically not used for guests (though this information was withheld) - it was a handicap room and full of mold in the bathroom. The front desk was […] polite and tried to accommodate us with a future stay but we weren't returning, and wouldn't stay at this hotel again even if we were. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not what I expected"
I checked in very late, and a handicapped room was all they had, which I was fine with. Well, I was in for a surprise (especially since there are so many high ratings). The shower was dirty and there was water on the floor in the bathroom. The entire room smelled like dirty laundry, as if the maids just made up the bed and left everything else as it […] was. It was a very strong smell and gave me a terrible headache. I would not stay there again for that reason. Sheets were clean but other than that I didn't want to touch anything. I felt like everything else was used and dirty. Not what I was expecting for $120. It's also worth noting that WiFi is not included, there is a charge. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Surprisingly Good Holiday Inn Near Heathrow"
Hotel was surprisingly good; rooms had up-to-date furnishings and compared favorably with a recent stay at nearby Sheraton London Heathrow (and VASTLY better than nearby Renaissance Heathrow, which was appallingly tired). The restaurant was well-appointed and food was fairly good. One thing to note is that the Heathrow Hoppa bus #4 which takes you between […] airport & hotel takes ~25 minutes to get to the hotel due to a round-about route, but takes under 10 minutes for the return trip to the airport. "You can find better and closer to the airport too."
First of all, do not be fooled by the map. It looks like this hotel is near Heathrow, and it should be a quick overnight stop off- but because of the bus shuttle system, getting there is a tortuous bus ride that takes at least half an hour from hotel to airport, and that is with no traffic. On the other hand it is a tour of every obscure and overgrown […] back corner of the airport, and half a dozen other hotels. The shuttle bus system can be deceptive in another way – there are three Holiday Inns at Heathrow, and nobody at the airport, or the bus drivers, seems to know which is which. Despite the fact that this Holiday Inn is located in West Drayton, and is close to the intersection of the M4 and A4, this will not help you get on the right bus (one of the other Holiday Inns is identified as the “M4 J4”). Nor will the hotel website. You have to know the secret password “Sipson Way” to get the right bus. Take the H1 bus, even if the driver says you are on the wrong bus after looking at the hotel reservation on your Iphone. If you take the H4 bus you will end up at another Holiday Inn where they are extremely unhelpful. The lady at the deskthere did try to get the proper hotel to just transfer the reservation over, but no dice. That means, besides (round trip) 9 pounds for the shuttle bus, you will have to take an 8 pound taxi ride to the right hotel. Oh yes, did I mention the busses only come twice an hour? The hotel itself is a bit tired. Endless long corridors, and the rooms sh Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Room service was available even with a late arrival. The staff was helpful and courteous.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This hotel is very near the airport, but a taxi is still needed (£10-12). There is also a £5 shuttle bus, but I waited in vain late in the evening. One interesting option this very nice and clean hotel gives you is to connect to the suburban train via city bus and save by avoiding the Heathrow Express.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Next time I would stay at a different hotel !"
My first impression wasn't great: The entrance to the old building is off the back alley, not well lit or convenient for traffic to and from the hotel. The reception area was ok. However, as a single woman with a heavy suitcase I was sent to the furthest room on the 1st floor without any offer of help or a single bellboy in sight. Barely made it there […] before I collapsed. The room was nice enough, but I think it was specifically made for people in wheelchairs, which I'm not, thank God, so things seemed kind of strangely low for me and there was plenty of red "help strings" hanging around. The window was on the corner and my first view was of a garbage truck in a ditch below and to the left was a pass thru for ppl coming off the sidewalk right by the window. The worst view ever from a hotel room ! I was too tired to ask for a different room, so I kept the windows locked and the drapes drawn all the time. The lights inside were so low even with all the lamps on, that doing make up was possible only in the bathroom which had no accommodations for that. Btw - no hair conditioner or lotion in the bathroom. The food from room service - a salmon dinner - was surprisingly good for a change. Asking for directions from one of the receptionists was useless - he never heard of Trafalgar Square and could only tell me basics about the tube stations. Also, his English was not easy to understand. It's a 4-star hotel and the best I can say is that it was "disappointing". Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Convenient for Heathrow"
We'll return here when we need an hotel near Heathrow; the rates were very fair for the location and quality. Breakfast was very good. The shower controls were a little weird, and one has to budget extra for parking, internet access and breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"low rate equals bad service"
We arrived late into Heathrow due to a delayed flight and had a mid-morning connection the next day. We decided to stay close to the airport so I searched for Heathrow hotels on hotels.com. I was very happy to get a low rate rate at a 4 star property, but was very disappointed when we got there. Maybe this is the standard in London, but this would have […] been a 2.5 or 3 star property in the US. While it is clean, we received very poor service. The hair dryer in our room was melted around the barrel and our multi country power adapter was zapped in Venice so I couldn't use my back up. I went to the front desk for help and they told me all of the hair dryers in the hotel were like that. He said no one could help until the next morning, after the time we needed to be ready for the airport. I'm sure that all of the hair dryers in this hotel are not fire hazards or it would have burned down by now. I was exhausted and not happy about selecting a 4 star property and being left with the option of traveling with wet or dirty hair for the next 24 hours. All I wanted was a good night sleep and to go back to the airport refreshed and that wasn't possible at this hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I can only say good things about this hotel. Me and my wife stayed here on two occasions at the start and end of a small European get away. The staff were very helpful. Along with this, the rooms were incredibly comfy and relaxing. The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Heathrow Airport. We did use a taxi coming in, but we found out there […] is a bus (the U3) that runs just outside the hotel and stops off at the Terminal 1/2/3 station on the Underground. This is not even 5 minutes away and free. A great stay, just what we needed! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
