I was impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel and the room. The staff was really nice and the shuttle service to the ski area was really good (including the driver). My husband and I loved the indoor pool as well as the hot tub.

The hotel has nice amenities (hot tub, pool, gym, laundry, etc.) but what helped us was the mini fridge and microwave as we had an unintended injury while skating and had to spend much time inside the room. We truly enjoyed our stay here. We came up from Denver for a couple of days of skiing. We were expecting fairly ho-hum facilities given that it's a chain hotel, but were very pleasantly surprised. Check-in staff was very courteous and quick. Room was clean and comfortable. It took a few moments to get the hang of the thermostat, but didn't take long […] to get the temp we wanted. Just as other reviews have stated, however, the true gem of this hotel is the restaurant/bar. We bought the breakfast voucher and then chose to have dinner there our first night as well. Delicious fresh food at a great price and we didn't even have to get in the car! If you're planning on having dinner, make sure you call in a reservation, however. We waited for about 10 minutes before sitting on a Friday night. Still, it was worth it. Only complaint, there was no fan in the bathroom to help clear away steam after showering. Food service good, the only thing was could not watch NFL channel in room. Which meant having to go to the noisy and crowded bar...no sound for the game as they insist on playing music. Not a good experience.

If you are skiing the shuttle service is wonderful. The staff was very helpful with everything. The restaurant is great for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We will be back to this hotel in the future!

Overall the hotel is pretty mid-range, nothing fancy here, but we had a nice stay. The staff were a little pushy at the front desk trying to get me to sign up for a rewards card. I had to tell them I did not want it about 3 times and they still kept hounding me. I was firm with them about not wanting the card since I rarely stay at certain hotels consistently, […] and because of that I think they gave a us a room facing the road- which, during high season would be understandable due to the price but, this was a Sunday night in mid-October, and the hotel did not seem very full. The hotel has been recently updated and the internet was free. The highlight for me was the hotel restaurant. The food was fantastic, and the service was great. Pleasantly surprised with this hote. Staff was courteous and professional. Free shuttle to ski areas and downtown was great. Room was clean and spacious - especially the bathrooms. The hotel restaurant was one of the best in town - breakfast was exceptional!! Would definitely stay here again.

I was very pleased with the Hotel Staff. The Clerk at the front desk when I checked in was very helpful. Also the room was very nice. Easy access and awsome views from the patio. Pay a little more for the breakfast. It was well worth it.

Was staying there for the Steamboat Marathon..they even had a shuttle to drop you off for the bus ride up the mountain! Very nice hotel for an affordable price!!

I really enjoyed my stay in Steamboat. This hotel is a cut above the comparable ones in town. The service was the key. It's excellent. Great amenities and a free on call shuttle to the hill. What more could one ask for? How about one of the best bar and restaurant facilities in town. This is where the locals go to unwind. Outstanding!

2 night stay at this hotel in December. Location a little out of the way if you do not want to drive while you are there but free bus stops almost outside and runs often. Decent room. Bar is decent also. Very clean and modern. 2 Pools looked clean and well maintained.

Well....not worth the money at all, stay somewhere else people!! They charge like they are a 5 star resort hotel ... way too much for what you get...very tiny rooms for example fridge and microwave usually in main room, but not here...no space so how bout the bathroom? yah thats right...and not to mention how thin the walls are but toilet paper could […] block more noise in the walls. Ice machine was on second floor. Staff was pleasant but very inconsiderate, i know we didnt get the last room in the hotel so why stick us right near the exit door where we can hear everyone coming and going. The hotel was great. We ate in the restaurant which had an odd set-up as you entered thru the bar. It was very noisy and the service took over an hour to get our meal. Improvement needed here but the hotel and pool were very good.

The location of the Holiday Inn is a little away from the downtown core... but still close enough to jump on the free city bus to get anywhere you need. The room was very clean, and the king size bed was very comfortable! I would stay again in the future!
