they allowed an early check in as we arrived earlier than expected. they hadnt cleaned our room yet, but when we arrived they immediately cleaned the room for us and got it ready for us. The only draw back for this hotel was the breakfast. We were led to believe that it was a hot breakfast, but in fact it's a snack type breakfast, muffins, instant oatmeal, […] other snack items. We would have preferred a little bit better start to our day. all in all, it was a very nice room, clean hotel, inside and out, great employees. The stay at the hotel was pleasant, I was skeptical about the smoking rooms and the aroma that was in the air because of the smoke. Our beds were stiff and hard but comfortable enough. The wifi was easy to access. More kids channels would be good for those traveling with kids.

I arrived for a one night stay. OI booked a hour or 2 before arriving. Front desk staff was trying to be accommodating, but was not trained properly. When morning staff came in still had a problem with my booking, and called repeatedly to have myself come to desk. Overall a nice room, but staff is under trained to handle different booking methods.

Hotel lobby is clean and updated. Sorry I cannot say the same with my room. The floor reeked of smoke, the carpet were stained and the bedding was outdated. This hotel is in need of a renovation.

Just spending the night in town, close to a lot of different places to eat and stores, plenty within walking distance. Wasn't the cleanest place I ever stayed but it was very inexpensive for a large 2 bedroom, suited my needs just fine. I'd stay there again next year unless the price goes up

We had booked the room through hotels.com and when we reached the hotel to check in, they said they were over booked and we had to go for a Queen room instead of a two bed. The only thing the customer exec was saying over and over again was "we are sorry and we really appreciate your patience". I wont stay there a second time.

The Extended Stay in North Dayton has been a favorite place for me to stay when visiting family in Dayton, Ohio. The rooms are always neat and clean, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to many differrent resturants on Miller Lane. I find it to be a reasonable, clean, and friendly place to stay.

The hotel suited what we needed. It was on a street with restaurants of just about every type you could want, so if you were hungry you definitely didn't have far to go. Easy access to freeway, gas station(s) and even Wal-Mart. I chose this motel because of it's "pet friendly" policy and location. I was shocked to be charged an EXTRA $25 fee for each of my 12 lb. dogs! More than a child There was NO indication of this charge prior to my arrival.

The hotel looks fine from the outside and the lobby, but this was the worst stay I've had at an Extended Stay. The only two beds that were available was on a smoking floor. Once I got off the elevator, I should have left. Even the hallways were FULL of stale smoke. No smoker would want to stay there. Overall a clean and well taken care of property. Missing some basic hotel amenities (ice machine, basic breakfast, etc) but if you're not looking for these things to be included this is a good place to stay. No frills but clean & quiet -- this should be their motto.

dont waste your money on this hotel. One of the two rooms we had, had no air conditioning, and the windows in both rooms literally fell out onto the floor when we tried to open them. Management never offered to switch rooms, or give us a credit of any type. There are plenty of other hotels on this street. Pick one of those!!

If you need a last minute hotel. This is ok. Have to exchange wash clothes instead of just getting new ones. Provides the bare mins (soap, no shampoo). We didn't use the kitchen at all but it came with some silverware I would be skeptical of using. Pillow was very uncomfortable. It served its purpose. Check-in and staff were friendly.

The lobby was secure after hours. Saved more than half of the surrounding hotels near Dayton University. The staff was exceptional for any toiletries that we forgot. My wife thought it was strange that a hair dryer was not in the room but the front desk had them for sign out. Guess some people liked them so much they took them home with them.

I had expected the Extended Stay to have more amenities, but it was pretty Spartan. The room was comfortable and was a great value for me as I traveled. There were no cups, shampoo, or conditioner--I was surprised that these things were missing. If you stay at one, please bring your own toiletries and don't expect more than the bare essentials!
