"Does what it needs to do!"
It's a simple hotel and it works for what I needed. I needed a bed and bathroom which both worked. Yes, it could be renovated a little bit (Shower head a little low) But other then that enjoyed my stay!Genuine Hotels.com guest review

we stayed in July in a room 103 that had roach powder on floors, bed skirt look like it had been stained with blood> the carpet had been cut in various place. Over to the left of the sink a sunken foundation it appeared was exposed. Food or something running down several areas of the bed. the toilete did not sit even and shook the tub was cracked inside and fithy. the front door did not close evenly. You could see the light inside the room of outside lights $90. I will never stay again.

The Manager and staff are excellent, however the hotel is falling apart. Do not take children there. No swimming pool, no facilities. Do not stay there.
"This place is a joke... Awful."

I don't often write reviews, but this place is REALLY bad... - When I turn off the light switch by the door, the lamp still flickers (this place will probably burn down soon, making this review moot). I had to unplug it to stop the flickering... - I tried plugging my phone charger into the extension cord near the bedside, and it made sizzling noises and sparked... - I tried to turn on the TV, but the batteries in the remote were dead. After the desk lady rummaged up some new batteries, I discovered that the TV didn't work anyway. Then she had the nerve to ask me to undo and redo all the cable box connections behind the TV because the maintenance guy wouldn't be around til morning (it was 5:00 PM...). I did... Still nothing but fuzz... - The only buttons on the microwave that work are the "1" and the "Start". And you have to mash the CRAP out of them to get a response. - In my three nights here, I've had to have my key card reprogrammed 4 times so far... Should have bailed after the first night.... - The whole room and bathroom are GROSS. Sticky carpet, peeling paint, mold on bathroom ceiling... - The shower head is below chest height... And the shower drains so slowly I was standing in 6" (literally) of water by the time I'm done with a 5-min shower. This is just the beginning... Another FYI... Pineville is a dry town. After all this pissed me off and I wanted to get out for a beer, I had to drive to the next town over... Bottom line: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
"In Need of REPAIR"

Room was very old. Bathroom was terrible. It was so spongy it actually sank don couple of inches while you were standing to take a shower. Looks as a 8yr old done painting. You could tell they had reblacked the parking lot and that money would have been better spent on rooms. RENT A RUG DOCTOR. Breakfast was a selection of 2 cold cereals, yogurt or toast. Not as advertised. No pool filled with dirt.

Everything is nasty. Room smells like dog pee, carpet is coming away from wall and rolling up, ceiling is cracked and seperating with screws holding it together and when someones above you it sounds like theyre going to fall thru. Outlets and most lights dont work. Short shower head thats dirty, same with bathtub and ceilings cracked and peeling. Old tv, phone and clock doesnt work. Doors stick and doesnt lock well and parking lot is horribly laid out, have to back all the way out to road. Is listed that it has a pool and its filled with chunks of asphalt spilling over top of it. Very gross experience, wont ever stay again. Also front desk is rude. Dont stay!!!

We paid over $100 for a room that the carpet was coming up, mildew on the back of the door to the bathroom.

The room was ok but the shower was filthy. Its the little things that make you not want to come back.
"Never stay here!"

The photos on the website for this place have to be photo-shopped. The outside looks abandoned, run down, and scary. The lobby area is straight out of the 1970s and tiny. The room I was given had the door previously kicked in (see attached picture.) & the "non-smoking," room was not as stated. The smell of smoke reaked under the smell of even stinkier air spray. The bed spreads looked dirty and were ripped. The room was not well cleaned (someone's random sock was still on the floor.), bugs on the wall, flys, & the bathroom was disgusting. After trying to reason with myself that I could tough it out for four nights when I went into the bathroom. That tub hadn't been touched since goodness knows. There were yellow mold stains so embedded in the white tub all I could think of was getting as far away from it as possible. The shower curtain was stained and had a burn on it. I cancelled my stay, booked at the La Quinta ten minutes away in Alexandria. I could not stay in such a horrible place. La Quinta was twenty dollars more a night, but worth every penny. I suggest you loom at La Quinta and stay as far away from Days Inn as possible. Oh, I forgot to mention when I sat on the bed to make different arrangements, I was bit by something. DO NOT STAY HERE. PAY MORE, YOU WILL BE SO GRATEFUL!!!!
"I would never go back"

The room I stayed in was extremely overpriced. The room's look was outdated and in need of renovations. I would never go back to this location and it makes me question whether I would stay at any other Days Inn property.
