This is my second time staying at this hotel. Both times have been very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The location is quiet but no more than a five minute walk from Juan Les Pins shopping and restaurant area. It is an old style French hotel but the rooms I have been in have been very comfortable and clean.

We stayed here with our three kids for business/vacation for a week. The hotel is beautiful, and clean, and the staff were helpful and kind to the children. The "boys' room" was spacious, but the "girls' room" had two "princess beds" with blue draperies and pink lace reading lamps -- amazing. We did not get the hotel breakfast, but there is a boulangerie directly behind (one block) the hotel with great French breakfast items. If you are feeling flush, Petrossian (two blocks behind the hotel) also has breakfast. Highlights for the kids were the multiple pieces of sea glass (aka "diamonds" and "emeralds") on the rocky beach, the 40,000 BC human footprint at the Terra Amata museum, the try-it-on Roman helmet at the Roman ruins at Ciminez, the many "smell it" displays at the perfume museum in Grasse, Josephine's crown at the Massena museum, the guinea pig house at Parc Phoenix, and the playground on the castle hill. We took the public bus everywhere and the French people were so nice to us (it helps to speak a little French, but we limped along and they were very patient.) Hotel staff almost always spoke English better than my French. Deserving of more than five stars, if we could give them.

The hotel seems pretty much a standard non-fancy, independently operated small hotel. Staff was very, very nice. Rooms are clean although the bathrooms could stand to be a little updated. It would be nice if there were more/better hangers in the wardrobe. Location is decent... probably about a 15-minute walk to the beach, but you can take the tram if […] you're feeling lazy. I did not care for this hotel and would not stay there again. The room was dark, dreary and depressing...the opposite of what Nice is supposed to be. My room was on the second floor and there was one window in the room but it let in very little light. Size of room was on the smaller side and none of the lights worked except the one bathroom light and […] the bedside light. I couldn't wait to check out and move on. I booked one queen size bed and the lady at recpetion was somewhat rude when I stated that I did not want two twin beds. She replied with, "well you can move them together, but I'll book you in a room with a queen". I had to insist on getting what I paid for through hotels.com. I would not stay there again. Read more

The hotel staff were fantastic....however that might be the only fantastic thing about the hotel. The bathroom was really gross - mold in the shower and the floor was filthy. The hotel is really outdated.

We only stayed there one night during a stop over in Nice. The location is really convenient - 5 minutes from the train station and the staff very friendly. The room was small but clean and had a good aircon, only the breakfast was really terrible.

Vi hadde forhåndsbestillt dette hotellet for 3 dager, men ble veldig skuffet. Hotellet var helt annerledes enn det blir fremstillt på bildene. Det var svært små rom, som ikke var ordentlig rengjort. hotel très correct, salle de bain petite dommage de ne pas avoir d'accord tarifaire avec le parking public voisin (35€ pour moins de 24h !) car il est rès difficille de se garer autour de l'hotel.
