Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.

Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

"Charged $72 for Photocopies - Stay Somewhere Else"
Even though this hotel was somewhat conveniently located to the convention centre (a very long walk), I am extremely unhappy with my check-out bill. First, wi-fi services were advertised, but NOT FREE. This was explained to me immediately upon check-in, where I was continually offered an overpriced "weekly rate" for the internet. I was there for a conference, […] and this hotel contains NO business center, computer, printer, or copier for guest use. I asked for black and white copies for my talk and was charged over $72 or the copy job. Vancouver is beautiful. Stay at a hotel with free internet, no price gauging for business services, and one that will not nickel and dime you. Read more

"Suites with a view"
The Lord Stanley provides the convenience of a small suite with a kitchenette combined with a great view of the Harbor and Stanley Park. Seems very quiet in spite of the traffic on Georgia Street.

I was in Vancouver on business for a week. Didn't need an extended stay suite, but couldn't find a regular hotel for a decent price that week. Lord Stanley Suites was a great solution and the location was beautiful. I could walk to work and not worry about walking back late at night - the neighborhood is very safe. "Lord Stanley Suites - great access to downtown"
We stayed at this hotel during the Grey Cup weekend as it had the best rates while still within walking distance of all downtown attractions. Room was not large, but well organized, clean and functional. Pull out sofa provided needed extra sleeping space. Nice view of the harbour. "It grows on you"
A little disappointed at first with the basic amenities vs. the cost but the longer I stayed the more I appreciated the hotel and its fantastic location. I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend to anyone.
