After booking our room off the internet and then reading the reviews we were a little worried about what we were getting into. However, hotel is located in prime waterfront property and within walking distance of theatre. It is clean, bathroom upgraded, internet included, beds comfortable, and maintenance is underway upgrading exterior. If I had the […] money to invest, I would invest in this hotel. To compliment this hotel, the town on Summerside needs to grow. The theatre is great but everything else is lacking. No wonder this hotel may be suffering! Come on Summerside, get creative. Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband for holidays in a "Lakeview Resort" . The location of this hotel is right by the highway, with a huge parking lot on front of the hotel, behind the hotel it was construction so we got lots of noise. You barely get to see the lake. The room we had was ok but, you can smell humidity. Beds were fairly comfortable. […] To get to the lake you have to cross parking lot, highway, and an information and shopping center full of tourists. There is no immediate access to the lake. The hotel is ok but nothing of what we expected. Some of the pictures correspond to an area 1 or 2 km away. The pool is small and very cold. The sauna was ok but the walls are carved up with people's initials. Amenities listed "nearby" like kayaking, canoeing, biking etc. They don't even know where they are offered. We had to go and ask the information center crossing the street and the closest place is almost an hour away from the hotel. They shouldn't list amenities for this hotel that the don't even know where they are. This hotel is too expensive, has misleading information on the web, it is just a chain of country inns, nothing to do with a "Lakeview Resort" just the price. Read more

Hotel staff was sincerely friendly and efficient. We were upgraded upon arrival. Last night was an unexpected stay due to a snowstorm. instead of charging the same or higher rate, the staff reduced our rate very reasonably for the third night. A nice basic hotel in downtown Summerside. The room was clean, but showing some age. The only really annoying thing was a loud noise (probably the pump for the pool) came on suddenly about 6:30 AM when I was trying to sleep. Lesson learned? Ask for a room well away from the pool.

At first sight the room looked great! We discovered a gooey substance, looked like jam or something like that on the floor in front of the couch. The next morning when we opened the curtains at the bottom of the windows we could hardly see out of them because of the smudges on the window. After enjoying the day we got back to our room and the towels […] that had been used were left on the counter crumpled and wet! Never had that happen before. I realize their policy about saving energy and all, but if you see a used towel lying on the counter you pick it up!!!! My grandson loved the pool,as did I. Great location, right on the waterfront. Room located on the second floor facing the back of the hotel with roof top air conditioners running outside our window was not the picture perfect room as advertised on web site. Upon arrival front desk attendant was not helpful or patient with my elderly father and was actually rude. The rooms are a bit out of date and most sight seeing in PEI is close to Cavendish so although this hotel is lake front, there is not much to see or do in Summerside. The surrounding restaurants are expensive and not worth the price

More attention to cleanliness is required. A dirty sock left by a previous guest was in plain view. Did not feel that the bedspread have to cleaned for some time. Hall carpets were badly stained. Food in restaurant was excellent and well priced.

We stayed for one winter night room was comfortable the front desk staff were wonderful helpful with directions and info re wireless ( thought it would be accessible without a password but they gave us the heads up upon arrival ) had a meal in the pub sorry we had ordered fr the menu rather than the buffet we noticed a table of locals arrived for the […] buffett and it looked great. Stayed in January, room heat controlled by opening and closing windows. Signs were touting a "green hotel". Thermostat did not appear to work. Halls were extremely warm as well (25 C). Desk surface barely enough room for my laptop and mouse. Uncomfortable wicker chairs. Otherwise, clean, "ok".

Beautifully renovated inn, in the heart of Summerside. Views of the waterfront from large windows. Comfortable, spacious rooms. Courteous service. Good dining room. Excellent value. Definately one of the best accommodations in this region area of PEI.

We were not in the room during the morning and up until 2:00 pm. However our room had not been attend to by housekeeping staff. We had to ask for fresh towels in the evening. Otherwise room was very quiet and comfortable.

Shower Curtain Rod Rusty. Towel Rack broken off. Bathroom sink old and extremely worn. Molding and general condition of the hotel room walls, worn and need repair. Beds were old and not that comfortable. View was excellent. However, I would not spend the money they asked for this room a night ever again. Be careful staying here.

They did well to use a picture to sell this hotel. Because once you are inside it all goes down hill. Beautiful exterior, surrounding area, but that's it. The hotel is in bad need of a refresh. It's tired. Things are tired. I also felt the greeting I got ( if you can call it a greeting) was less than because I had booked a discounted room. The bedding […] was pilled, and scuzzy. The shower curtain made me shudder.... Needless to say we spent little for no time in our room. We paid more than expected and were so not impressed. Overrated, and over priced. Nous avons séjourné 1 nuitée le 24 août 2011. Personnel très courtois et gentil. Au centre de tout, face au port. Mais seul bémol cette est vraiment dû pour une remise à neuf. De loin il n'y parait pas mais de près besoin de peinture mobilier à changer. Pour ce qui est du restaurant très bon pour qualité/prix.
