"Not too bad, very small room."
Don't be misled by the photo's shown. This hotel primarily caters to business travelers and the photo's show the suites. If you are using this hotel for vacation your room will be much smaller than the one shown in the photo's.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel and location"
First time in Chicago and this was a great place to stay. Close to Willis Tower, good restaurants and walkable to many other things including Wacker along the river. Hotel staff was great and very helpful. Looking forward to staying at other Club Quarters in this boutique chain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Only stayed for one night, but the hotel was perfect. Staff was pleasant and helpful, and accommodated our luggage for our early arrival until check in. The club room was small but worked for a one night stay. Good location as it was a few blocks from the train. Would definitely stay here again!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was comfortable and clean, located centrally and a good value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great weekend spot!"
Great spot for our weekend getaway. They let us check in extra early (9 AM!) for a $10 fee. The room was great and clean, and very comfortable. The only negative was that the queen-ish size bed was actually two smaller beds pushed together. It wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world. It's walking distance to everything in the center of Chicago […] and has easy access to all of the trains. Less than an hour from the airport on the Blue line. "Club Quarters, pros and cons"
Great location...near Willis Tower. No tub in bathroom. Not enough towels, but if you call, they will bring what you've asked for.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hot Chocolate Run"
Room was very small but quite nice. Coffee maker did not work. Only had one towel, but staff brought more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stylish, just what you need, budget price."
We spent a night here in advance of the Hot Chocolate 15k. It's cozy, but has some pretty nice features (the complimentary bottled water, for instance, came in handy.) We didn't have any towels in the room but they were delivered promptly when I asked about them.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
An excellent place to stay with a good location for trains and other public transport. Rooms are a little small but very adequate. We were on the 3rd floor so no windows could open---I always prefer to be able to open a window a little bit, so this was a downside. The restaurant/bar next door (Elephant and Castle) is also pretty good and convenient, […] if you don't want to go out. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Excellent hotel for the business traveler"
Nice hotel, friendly staff, comfy, compact and clean rooms. Free and fast Wifi without extra charge, comfortable working desk, nice bathroom. I felt very comfortable and secure.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were disappointed with our stay. On our first night, we asked for extra pillows and towels. The hotel is adamant about one bath towel per room and two pillows regardless of the number of people staying in the room. The towels never came so we had to go down and ask. We were allowed one more bath towel. The pillows never came despite our requests. […] We gave up. There is apparently a closet on each floor with extra blankets and towels but the one on our floor was empty except for ironing boards and coffee. It was never restocked during our stay. The walls are very thin and we heard our neighbors in the hallway at 4:00 am. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"quaint little hotel"
My personal opinion but Chicago is way to expensive. This hotel was booked on a hotel.com special and while still pricey was well worth the money considering the other options. First of all the location is great. Right in the center loop. 2 parking structures within 2 blocks walking if you park yourself. 2 blocks from Willis tower, and two blocks from […] the redline which for a few dollars takes you right to miracle mile. The hotel was very nice especially for an older building. Our room was small, we got the cheap one. I mean about the size of a cruise ship stateroom. It worked well for us because we only slept there, the rest of the time we were out and about in the city. If you plan on hanging at the hotel opt for the bigger room or if you are Closter phobic. With that being said, the room was super clean and clean smelling. Not the best view, but again we weren't there long. The bed was very comfortable. The pillows were extra soft, which I liked but my wife didn't. My only downgrade for the hotel was that they had no extra pillows when we called for one. The hotel was full was their answer and all the extra pillow were taken by the time we asked. Check in/out was quick and easy. internet worked well, and HD tv. Had an English style restaurant attached but couldn't try that as there was a rugby tournament in town and couldn't even set foot in there. All in All I would consider this hotel again if I ever desire to pay the cost of going to Chicago. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fabulous weekend in the city!"
This was our first time in Chicago and we went to a Bears game. As that was something on my husbands bucket list. So that means that we were looking for an affordable place to stay close to Soldier Field. We found that at Club Quarters!! For the purpose of laying our heads down at night, this place was great!! The rooms were not really that small to […] us and the staff was amazing!! Every one of them could answer any question we had instantly, and they were correct as we followed their directions or suggestions. The only thing that my husband and I both didn't like, was that the bed in our room was soooo hard, so the first night we didn't sleep as well as we would have liked. But this is just our opinion, others may not have minded. If we should come back to Chicago, (which we probably will as it was so beautiful) we would definitely have no problems staying with Club Quarters again!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Trip to Chicago"
The lobby was nice and the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Take advantage of the valet parking service. It is one fee for the full stay as I found out later. There is no parking lot at the hotel. The closest parking lot we found was 3 blocks away and we had to carry our things from there. There is a parking fee based on time […] parked each time you enter. The bed looked pretty but the room was very plain with no fridge or microwave. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Cross country trip"
Clean comfortable room. Great location especially for the price. Upgrated to a larger room because ours wasn't ready. We were warned by the concierge, Nick, that the pullout bed may be uncomfortable which it was. Should have requested a cot which he offered. He gave us great recommendations for restaurants Pazzo's for Italian and Giordano's for deep […] dish pizza. Both great within walking distance and reasonable! Millenium Park within walking distance don't miss it! Museum of Science and Industry very interesting especially the tour of the German sub! Museum easy to get to via bus. The hotel was great and in the heart of downtown Chicago. I will go there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff members were outstanding. The weekend manager (Mike?) was gracious about changing my room when I was worried about noise from neighbors, and Nick (who went above and beyond to ascertain some travel information for me)and Amy were quite helpful and very pleasant as well. The location was perfect for exploring the city for the first time - close […] to everything I wanted to see right away. The room was nothing special, but clean and comfortable enough. It was really the people who made the trip special. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Short walk from Union Station!!"
Club Quarters Hotel is the perfect hotel for friends to meet in a central location. We rode in on the Metra from the Chicago Western Suburbs and our friends came in on the Amtrack train. We met at Union Station and walked to the hotel. The hotel is in walking distance from The Art Museum, Millennium Park, river tours and theater district. We took a […] short cab to The House of Blues for a concert. The staff was wonderful, the room very clean and best of all there is a large restaurant/bar attached with reasonable prices. "people very nice but the room was very small"
I guess I was just expecting more. The people are very nice but there was no pool or hot tub. That is my fault for not checking. I thought all hotels had those now days. The room was very small but other than that it was good.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room I booked was for a queen sized bed. The bed was 2 beds pushed together with one big fitted sheet over it. Paying $162 a night you would have thought it would live up to what was advertised.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The people were nice as usual in Chicago but the room had bad ventilation. Air circulation could have been better.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great views of downtown Chicago"
Nice experience. Only complaint is, it took a little longer then expected to get room with only 1 person ahead of us. Other then that, hotel was very niceGenuine Expedia guest review
"Most expensive room ever on a sq. foot basis"
Stayed here 2 yrs ago for a convention. Close to McCormick Center, $8 cab ride. Room was very small, no refrigerator, no HBO, basic cable. Price went up $100 in 2 yrs. Spent about $400/night after taxes and fees. My room was on the 3rd floor, shared by catering/food prep. seems way overpriced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Place to Stay!"
We stayed in Chicago for a night just to get away. We picked this hotel for the fair price and the location to public transportation. It was a beautiful hotel, very clean room, and great customer service. We ate lunch in the hotel restaurant before departing for our day out on the town, and the food and drinks were delicious. We just had a single room, […] not the one with the kitchen, and it was perfect for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was probably one of the nicest hotel bathrooms I've seen in awhile. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chicago! "Good basic hotel near tourist sites"
Could walk to everything in Loop. Good for one or two people who don't care about frills. Standard room small but well appointed for technology. Only 1 1/2 blocks from Blue Line for airport service. As a single woman, felt quite safe even walking back after opera or symphony concert.Genuine Expedia guest review
I was not happy with the club hotel at all . First we road the train to Chicago and the train arrived at 9:30 am hotel is less than a mile from train station we walked there and was told check in was 3:00 pm or after. Of Couse we were tired and wanted to rest a little before going sightseeing, we were told for an extra $38.00 we could check in early.... […] Then when we came back from sightseeing they did not have a ice bucket in room when we asked for one were told they were out. Maybe later they would have one. And the worse when we woke up next morning had a Large Bed Bug in our bed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quick city get-away"
We enjoyed the mod decor and being close to the Art Institute and other attractions, while on a college tour. The self-parking is reasonably priced ($25/day) for Chicago, but only if you leave your car garaged for your stay and don't need to use it for a day excursion. You need to unload your luggage at ghe front and then drive your car a few blocks […] away to the parking and then walk back (about 7-10 min.). There was no unlimited in and out on the pricing scheme for the garage used by the Club Quarters. Luckily, you can walk to many places, and there are cabs and the subway close by. We got the "kitchenette" (microwave & mini-fridge, some dishes & utensils). I don't know if it was worth the extra charge unless you bring breakfast foods with you when you check in. A nearby CVS has some grocery items. Lots of restaurants and cafés are within easy walk of the hotel, and there are lots of different banks. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice location but don't expect any space!"
Stayed two nights for the Chicago Marathon. The hotel was convenient to the marathon route. However, the neighborhood was very quiet on the weekend with not many restaurants or shops. The hotel was very nice but the room that we had was surprisingly small. The write up said that there was a frig in the room. There wasn't and the hotel was not able to […] supply one. It was hard to manuever around the room due to its small size. The bathroom was very spare. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Enjoyable with great location."
My wife and I stayed here during the Chicago Marathon weekend. The room was plenty big enough for the two of us. If you are on a business trip or out sightseeing you probably won't be in the room much anyway. The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Attended Concert at United Center and visited Chicago Art Museum next day. Great Hotel and staff. Very nice Pub restaurant and bar. Location is outstanding and very nice world class hotel. Will return on next trip to Chicago.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
