"Short walk from Union Station!!"
Club Quarters Hotel is the perfect hotel for friends to meet in a central location. We rode in on the Metra from the Chicago Western Suburbs and our friends came in on the Amtrack train. We met at Union Station and walked to the hotel. The hotel is in walking distance from The Art Museum, Millennium Park, river tours and theater district. We took a […] short cab to The House of Blues for a concert. The staff was wonderful, the room very clean and best of all there is a large restaurant/bar attached with reasonable prices. The room I booked was for a queen sized bed. The bed was 2 beds pushed together with one big fitted sheet over it. Paying $162 a night you would have thought it would live up to what was advertised.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Most expensive room ever on a sq. foot basis"
Stayed here 2 yrs ago for a convention. Close to McCormick Center, $8 cab ride. Room was very small, no refrigerator, no HBO, basic cable. Price went up $100 in 2 yrs. Spent about $400/night after taxes and fees. My room was on the 3rd floor, shared by catering/food prep. seems way overpriced.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Place to Stay!"
We stayed in Chicago for a night just to get away. We picked this hotel for the fair price and the location to public transportation. It was a beautiful hotel, very clean room, and great customer service. We ate lunch in the hotel restaurant before departing for our day out on the town, and the food and drinks were delicious. We just had a single room, […] not the one with the kitchen, and it was perfect for a short stay. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was probably one of the nicest hotel bathrooms I've seen in awhile. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Chicago! "All you would need inside and around the area!"
Great stay and area was wonderful for shops and restaurants.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was not happy with the club hotel at all . First we road the train to Chicago and the train arrived at 9:30 am hotel is less than a mile from train station we walked there and was told check in was 3:00 pm or after. Of Couse we were tired and wanted to rest a little before going sightseeing, we were told for an extra $38.00 we could check in early.... […] Then when we came back from sightseeing they did not have a ice bucket in room when we asked for one were told they were out. Maybe later they would have one. And the worse when we woke up next morning had a Large Bed Bug in our bed. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Quick city get-away"
We enjoyed the mod decor and being close to the Art Institute and other attractions, while on a college tour. The self-parking is reasonably priced ($25/day) for Chicago, but only if you leave your car garaged for your stay and don't need to use it for a day excursion. You need to unload your luggage at ghe front and then drive your car a few blocks […] away to the parking and then walk back (about 7-10 min.). There was no unlimited in and out on the pricing scheme for the garage used by the Club Quarters. Luckily, you can walk to many places, and there are cabs and the subway close by. We got the "kitchenette" (microwave & mini-fridge, some dishes & utensils). I don't know if it was worth the extra charge unless you bring breakfast foods with you when you check in. A nearby CVS has some grocery items. Lots of restaurants and cafés are within easy walk of the hotel, and there are lots of different banks. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice location but don't expect any space!"
Stayed two nights for the Chicago Marathon. The hotel was convenient to the marathon route. However, the neighborhood was very quiet on the weekend with not many restaurants or shops. The hotel was very nice but the room that we had was surprisingly small. The write up said that there was a frig in the room. There wasn't and the hotel was not able to […] supply one. It was hard to manuever around the room due to its small size. The bathroom was very spare. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great downtown location - 3 blocks from Art Museum"
Attended Concert at United Center and visited Chicago Art Museum next day. Great Hotel and staff. Very nice Pub restaurant and bar. Location is outstanding and very nice world class hotel. Will return on next trip to Chicago.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was a little small. If someone had to get in on the other side of the bed, it is about 8 inches from the walls. For one, it was fine. Furnishings, and décor were very nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
very small room......not as bad as the temp.....our room was very very warm and they have no air conditioning whole building is on some kind of same thermostat.....they offered a fan which did not do much good....very disappointed in the comfort with the room being so hotGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Don't stay here"
Hotel is older and need of upgrade. There was no air conditioning available as hotel was in winter mode. This made room very stuffy. Tried to charge for extra night even though they were notified that first night was cancelled due to flight cancellation. Still wanted proof of flight cancellation. We were not told this when we checked in. Only provided […] one bath towel one day because laundry was late. We had to request another. Overall experience was negative. "Nice, clean, quaint older hotel downtown."
Wife and I were in town for a concert. Hotel was clean, decorated well enough to be considered an "aged" place... My wife and I are NOT all about CHROME and SHINY-NEW, as they usually have to be paid for with higher rates. The tile had character-giving cracks in the faces, but it was very clean, and totally functional. Bathrooms were small, but cozy […] enough for two, and the hot water and water pressure were awesome. Bed was immaculate and for a smaller room, was totally adequate for a couple in-love. No Breakfast or anything, but it was Chicago, and considering the rates, a breakfast would have cost us thru the nose anyway. Parking with validation was $24, but with no in/out priveledges... that was ok, we took a cab to our concert and it was fine. All in all, i'd stay there again, and my wife agrees. "don't use valet service....they break things"
Do not valet your car at this hotel. The valet service broke the door handle of my rental car then claimed they had no responsibility. Use a parking garage instead.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"overpaid for what I got"
Hallway smelled like a nursing home, tv was grainy quality at best, walls of room were paper thin, floors creaked in hallway, door needed repainted due to chipping and they painted the hinges, sheets were like cardboard. I really think for a sunday night for almost 300 dollars, this is was a rip off. I needed a place to stay because Amtrak overbooked […] my train and I wont come back. "Great hotel, location, loved the staff"
Enjoyed the quiet and updated clean room with an European flair! The staff was warmly accommodating. It was also accessible to all the shopping, eating, and sightseeing we had planned. Our family will definitely meet there again to stay. Thank you.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel, Great Staff and GREAT LOCATION!"
It was a great destination that is a quick 5-10 minute walk to all things Chicago. I would suggest Club Quarters Wacker if you would like to be in the center without the 10 minute walk.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel was most helpful in assisting us with maps and reservations. it is located very conveniently within the Loop. No reason we wouldn't want to stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was looking for a hotel with a location that was near some areas that we wanted to visit. This hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the Willis Tower and not to far from Millennium Park. It was also the best priced compared to other hotels in the area when I booked it. The rooms aren't that big, but it was sufficient. On the floor of our room, […] they had a purified water station and if needed bottles to fill before you leave the hotel. The only downside was parking, the hotel does validate; so you get a discounted rate and the garage is a couple of blocks away. Due to the location was able to leave the rental in the garage for a whole day and walk to the different venues. Front desk was helpful during our visit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Not especially Clean and the room was freezingGenuine Hotels.com guest review
I liked the location of it, but it definitely wasn't worth the $250 for one night. The carpet was kind of damp when we got there, and when I reserved the room I was told that I could order a roll-in mattress, but unfortunately when I asked for one I was told that there weren't any more to give out. Apparently this gigantic hotel only has 18 total roll-in […] mattresses! So to compromise the man at the front desk said he would send up extra blankets and pillows. When room service arrived it turned out they were out of pillows too! If it were cheaper and if it was just me and one other person I would consider staying here again, but if it's to go out and about with my friends then absolutely not. I wont be booking at Club Quarters ever again. However, on the plus side, the staff was fun and really nice to us! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Good location and price. Basic accommodations but the room was in good shape and the decor of the hotel was nice. Service was good. They validate parking for a garage very close to the hotel and to the interstate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Friendly Staff, excelent location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay was fine. One suggestion is to have an iron available in the room and a couple of extra towels. I was on an overnight business trip and an iron would have come in handy (as is provided in most hotels I've stayed in.) I also had one hand towel and one bath towel, so an extra of each would have been nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Decent room,reasonable rates,excellent location"
Came to Chicago on the spur of the moment in the middle of a three week vacation. Did some research and noticed there was a Magritte exhibit at the Art Institute and one of my favorite bands (Television) were doing a club gig Sunday night. I picked out a couple of theatre shows as well and had a brisk paced 32 hours. I used to come out to Chicago (from […] around Detroit) 4 or 5 times a year but started finding it too expensive to drive and to pay for parking. I took Amtrak this time and found it very convenient. I only needed to take a cab twice and used public transportation for the rest. I got to do everything I planned on and had time left over to go window shopping on The Magnificent Mile and in the general Loop area and relax and enjoy Millennium Park for the first time. I will keep Club Quarters in mind (as long as they keep their rates reasonable) for more (hopefully many more) excursions like this. If you're in Chicago to see the city I'd recommend Club Quarters. It's clean and safe, well located and well staffed. If you intend on coming to Chicago to enjoy a stay at a luxurious hotel I'm sure their are many others that would fit the bill better. "Walking distance ..."
... from Union Station and to everything we wanted to see, particularly the Art Institute. Room was quite small with little space to unpack toiletries in bath, and a bit challenging for a couple ... just one nightstand, TV at a 45 degree angle from bed ... but well-priced and surprisingly quiet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect place to crash in the loop"
We needed a place to stay after a long day/night in the city. The price was good for the location. The room was very small but clean and comfortable. If you need a place to just sleep this was a great place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My husband and I use expedia for most of our travels but we were so disappointed in this hotel. For the money, our room was SO small we, literally, opened the door and had to move sideways to sqeeze in our bag and close the door to get around the bed. No kidding...2 inches max between door and bed. I think that sometimes when the hotel sells to a booking […] agent, they pawn off less desirable rooms to their customers. I will continue to always use expedia but never stay at this club quarters again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel in a great location!"
As first-time visitors to Chicago, we found Club Quarters to be a perfect place to stay in Chicago's Loop. We could walk to area restaurants, Millennium Park, Grant Park, the Art Institute, and many other places we wanted to visit. We used the nearby Red Line train to get to areas outside the Loop- Wrigley Field, Shedd Aquarium, etc. The hotel also […] has a restaurant where we had dinner our first night. We highly recommend this hotel for its comfort and convenience. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
