This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

"Amazing Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Na Balam got some underserved poor scores. The location happened to be the best location on the island (as far as beaches go), and fairly convenient to excitement of down town. The grounds were spectacular, and for such a reasonable price. Front desk and beach bar staff were not amazing, but not bad either. They could do some training on customer service in order to make it a more magical experience, but all in all, it was acceptable service.

The Cancun Hotel Zone rests on a slit of land bound by a lagoon and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Sunseekers crowd the white-sand beaches. At night, the action moves to the restaurants, clubs, and bars that line Boulevard Kukulcán, the area’s main artery. This road passes by the El Rey ruins, believed to be a king’s tomb.

"Well done 3 star hotel"
This is very much a 3 star hotel. Little comforts that would give a more luxe experience are not there, but it's a well done, clean and efficient hotel. The resort staff is very warm and engaging, apart from the front desk where they are not at all concerned with your customer experience. Rooms are basic - no in room fridge, minimal toiletries, hard […] beds - but clean. The food and drink are plentiful and of decent quality. The beach is beautiful and the hotel provides lounge chairs/umbrellas/towels, but no wait staff. There is a trampoline and play area for kids. If you don't need bells and whistles, but simply a clean, well run place to stay then the Park Royal is a good choice. Read more
"The staff is what makes this hotel very special"
I just returned from a stay at Park Royal with my 2 daughters (ages 18 & 19), and I can't say enough about the incredible staff at the resort. From the maids to the waiters (especially at the buffet) to the staff in the pool area to the lifeguards, they really went out of their way to make us feel special. What we loved: *Small resort compared to others, […] so the staff recognized us and gave us personalized service (special fruit smoothies and a fresh plate of bacon in the morning, a nice cocktail with our lunch, etc). There's no way you'd get that attention at a huge resort. *Daily activities / entertainment. Again because the resort is smaller, these activities were more fun because we'd recognize the other participants from the pool or dinner or beach, etc. *The beach is beautiful! The surf is a little rough, but the lifeguards keep a very careful eye on everyone and make sure you stay safe. Nice big sandy beach with plenty of lounge chairs. *The buffet. Lots of fresh fruit and salads. And the waiters could not be more attentive! *The Italian restaurant. Make reservations and order the beef tenderloin. There's a dress code, so bring some nice clothes. It's worth getting cleaned up for! *Nice big clean rooms. *No time-share goons. *Cool Mayan ruins on the property. Go see it at night...very cool! What we didn’t love: * The floors in the rooms and the hallways are polished marble … which looks nice, but is very noisy. Voices, doors, and footsteps in the hallway echo and amplify. If the folks upstairs wear shoes in their rooms, you’ll hear it. Bring earplugs. * The pools are small in comparison to the huge resorts. If you’re a pool-person, you won’t like Park Royal. We go to Cancun to sit on the beach, so this didn’t bother us. * You can’t bring resort food up to your room. You can buy snacks at the little store and bring that to your room. I don’t think they want you to bring drinks up either, but they didn’t say anything or try to stop us from doing so. ** By far, Read more

"Park Royal: cleanly, the best choice in Cancun"
All inclusive stay was enjoyable due to the simplicity and spic & span cleanliness of the property coupled with fantastic food and service. Like all good service it was there when you needed it, absent when you didn't. Simple Pool, Great beach, and excellent cuisine morning, noon and into late night.

Close to shopping and alternate restaurants. Safe and clean. This was my second stay. It was equal to the first which is why I returned. on both visits, I was on excursions, so I didn't use the pool areas/beach. Did look well maintained and people I observed seemed to enjoy. The food was fresh, visually appealling and well-presented. It was flavorful, […] a good mix of American & Mexican foods. Most wait staff were well-versed in English, were attentive and seemed genuinely happy to have us as guests. I have traveled extensively & stayed in a broad range of accommodations world-wide. For the price and value, I would return. The biggest issue for me & other guests was the spotty Internet access. The on-duty IT person was helpful. Know your computer and how to "connect" to avoid frustration. Read more
"will never go back unless its 20 dollars a night."
You cant have guess to your room. many of the people on my floor had guess but when i decided to do the same they stopped us at the elevator. called the room to see who was there when they just checked us in. this was a night before we even decide to have a guess which was my fiance. the security guy was very rude as well when stopping us. would never […] recommend this hotel to anyone. all-inclusive was very limited. they need to change the name of the hotel as well because it doesnt fit the sevice they gave us. "Very friendly service but that's it"
We went here for our honeymoon. The people were so nice the entire time we were there. However, atleast 2 days our room was not cleaned until 5pm. The beds were so hard. One of them made my back hurt so bad that we had to use the other bed the entire time, which wasn't much better though. The pool closed at 7pm which we thought was kind of ridiculous […] since we were on vacation. There were only 2 restaurants, one of which was buffet and served the same thing every single day and was only okay tasting. The other restaurant required reservations ahead of time. The firs time I called for reservations, I was told they were booked and would have to call back the next day at 2pm. This upset me because it was never full on the 2 nights that we looked in on it. After talking to the manager, I was able to make a reservation for that night at the time I wanted and when we went there, literally there were only 2 other tables with people at them. The beach was gorgeous though!!! We definitely will return to Cancun, but we will not stay at this hotel again. Read more

"Park royal Cancun"
Read more
"Show de bola"
Muito bom! O pessoal vai tentar de empurrar um plano de viagens chamado de tempo compartido. E extremamente inconveniente e desagradavel. Mas o hotel e tudo de bom.
